This photo is of the finished repair. This was a small repair but because it was custom décor in our shower we needed someone to do the repair who could replicate the pattern before the stones had come loose. Terry from A Jackson Masonry did a perfect job. He was so meticulous and conscientious in making sure the repair was done in the very best manner possible. He did the work in about 5 hours over 2 days. After completing the work on day 1 he came back on day 2 to touch up the joint work and make the job look perfect. On day 2 he was even going to remove the original joint material he used and replace it with a different material because he was concerned that it wasn't as good a material as he thought it should be. We ended up deciding on the original material rather than have him redo that part of the job. That is the level of integrity that Terry has in making sure his work is the best it can possibly be. Always seemed to be a good reason: need to schedule the plumber, need to have the cement dry, etc. But these reasonable delays added months before the job was completed. Then, there was a rush to finish the job; rather than level the floor with quick-dry cement, they put in a few of the unused floor planks. The floor is soft there but the tub hides the problem. But the very disappointing thing is their attempts now to collect $800 above their bid quote. Repeated attempts -- telephone and emails -- have not resulted in any response. Telephone calls go to voicemail--no response to emails. I'm waiting for an explanation for the overcharge before I make payment.
