I have bought cards from Dennis for over four decades and will vouch for his accurate grading and fair prices. Recently, I asked Dennis for a 1953 Topps Satchel Paige. Dennis goes to his secret stash and quickly pulls it out for me to purchase. Dennis helped me complete my Giants team sets from 1958 on including rare Topps high number cards at reasonable prices. Dennis helped me complete my 49ers team sets from 1950 Bowman on up. One of my biggest regrets was not purchasing a rare 1969 Topps Super Willie Mays test card that Dennis had in his display case. When I asked Dennis, this rare card was long gone and sadly I had to purchase that card from another dealer at a much higher price. Why don't the rest of you yelpers go somewhere else, so I can buy all the great cards at fair prices.

His son works at the store, too, and seemed very helpful, also. Dennis is a joy to help a customer walk through the store, and is always very informative, helpful and indulgent. Very reminiscent of what was produced in the 1920's. I loved her thank you cards and they are just unique enough to make you stand out. Her prices were a bit high, which is why we didn't buy anything but I am sure a custom job would be worth it. She does great wedding invitations and thank you cards. They are also hand cut as well. Let's take it from the top. When you enter the place, it is CLEAN! It like the owner has a background in interior handiwork. Wall trim, baseboards, column trim is all expertly done. Now as an adult I go to the Nightlife events the Exploratorium offers at the Embarcadero After Dark as the science drops with the drinks and music by the water. In the daytime I do like to do a pit stop at the Exploratorium store to browse and shop as my curiosity takes over. One thing which I still have is a pair of math dice. I use to carry these dice and create dice games to play at events and gatherings. This store has a bit of everything from books like the Drunken Botanist to the San Francisco 1000 piece puzzle ( my new favorite). This place be dropping the science for people of all ages. There is something for anyone who wants to explore the arts and sciences. A great Edutainment store experience at the Exploratorium at Pier 15. I liked the black sand exhibit at the Exploratorium and asked the sales associate there for some. She was very happy and eager to lead the way to the black sand. They also have a bunch of other cool tacky stuff to buy from a test tube glass tea diffuser to crystal rocks. A jar of black sand was $9.72 which I thought was a fair price to pay.
