This is the only spot I know they have the bricks organized in the pick a brick section. Technically they have loose and organized but still. Awesome if your looking for something specific and I was looking for just that. Thank you so much for this spot for having that separated and allowing a quicker easier ease of access. I was able to build a small hallway of the Disney Rise of the Resistance ride. Epic and memorable. This place is definitely staple for me. Pricing wise, I believe it's 0.25 a brick and 0.50 a long slab. Personally it would be cool if they charged a bulk price for a full cup, that's my only little gripe. But the people here are friendly and will help find anything they can that's within their means. read more

I called the store one day to ask if they took in opened boxed Legos for cash. The person on the other end said yes, to which I asked if there was anything else needed and they told me the instruction manual, if I had it, which I did. I asked one more question, which I believe was the most important one, is there anything I should do before I come in and they said no. Ultimately I took apart the Lego set, thinking it would be easier for them, plus no one I know would want a Lego set that's already put together. Where's the fun in that? Overnight I took apart the set and bagged everything according to the manuals. I think I did a pretty good job at doing all of that for them. The following day I went in and informed the person at the counter that I had called about trading in a Lego set for cash. I proceeded to show them the bags and manuals for the set. The guy behind the counter gave me a blank stare and looked at the bags and threw out a number. It wasn't a fair price, their reasoning behind it was the set was not put together, and how were they to know if it was the correct set and if all the parts were there. Furthermore, they stated that if I brought it in put together, the cash back would've been a little higher. Still not a fair price. He gave me the bags back and said I could go home put it back together and come back later. I just gave up. I sold it as is. In all honesty, I shouldn't have, but I lost my job prior to this interaction and I needed the money. Honestly, if you have Legos that you're trying to sell, just hold out and sell them on your own. Go to different toy stores, look up local toy groups, or trade events. It's not worth going here. read more

UPDATE: The store moved a few doors down into a larger space. FANTASTIC! They now have more of what you would want in a store - display, stock, and selection. I was told that they were going to be renting out a smaller space adjacent to the main shop for birthday parties - EXCITING! Friendly, knowledgeable, local and reasonably priced. Mike is a fellow AFOL who has extreme, genuine passion for Legos and you can immediately tell by having conversations with him. Super cool and friendly and very easy to talk to. The store inside is awesome! It is sensory overload for Lego fans as he has all kinds of lego themes from used to new, and even rare retired sets - something I really love especially since I'm a collector. You never know what rare set you may find. The prices are reasonable especially for a local store, and it's always awesome to support a local store. The store is small but it is organized. Behind the counter you will find used complete legos, mostly Star Wars themed. Inside the counter, a large collection of minifigures are on display. I found some of my rare Star Wars minifigures here! Overall, I'll definitely be repeating business here even if I have to drive from Pittsburg!! read more

A lego store run by a lego fan is awesome to see and have in the east bay. I came by looking for a specific lego piece, and the owner helped explain why that piece was hard to get. Stinks I couldn't find it, but I was very impressed by how inviting and knowledgeable he is. By far one of my favorite places to go to. I visited in search of a few pieces I needed to complete an older set I had, only to be absolutely thrilled with what I ran into. I was immediately greeted by Aya and Kenny who were very accommodating, genuinely passionate, helpful, and even offered my girlfriend some snacks while she waited as I walked circles around the store. Prices are very fair and the selection of sets (especially figures) were a thrill to look through. It was almost an overload as an avid fan on LEGO for years, and it was extremely refreshing to be around others who enjoyed it as much. Excellent store! Just found it online and went to check it out on a Sunday afternoon and wasn't disappointed. Mike was very helpful in giving me the tour and the backstory behind his innovative business. What's great about it is it literally could be for all ages from little kids building and creating things with their unlimited imagination but also for the diehard Star Wars collectors out there. I was interested in seeing what they had and was there by 10 which is what time they open and they were still closed so I left. They have a lot of really cool figures there and it is amazing. They have a lot of Lego Star Wars figures from the batch batch to the prequels. Always perfect. This is one of my "Happy paces" and I'm not even the person I'm buying the legos for... but bringing my wife (of 30+/- years) joy, is my favorite part of life. This store is the best of its kind, and possibly the best retail/resale stores on the planet. There is always something here you absolutely can't live without or you "didn't know you needed it until you got here". The coolest part, is the owner, wants you to be able to buy it and prices it fairly so you can. This is not a collection of stuff someone bought, just to mark up and say "I can get way more for this, because it's rare, therefore I can charge what I want". Mike is a lover of Lego and is happy to meet others like him, that he can share experiences with. He treats people like new friends. I watched a customer come in and their child wanted to see the roller coaster set (displayed) go around. He didn't brush them off, ignore or refuse the request. He not only agreed but turned it on and watched it like it was his first time seeing it. He looked as happy as the kid did, and didn't turn it off until they both saw it go around several times. I don't even know if they bought anything, but it definitely wasn't a requirement. Sorry for going on and on, but like I said... this is one of my happy places. Mike is moving his store to a new location, and he is so excited. "It's so much bigger" he said, and you can see that he's already planning the displays and the wall stacked with LEGOS!!! If Lego is your passion and the local Target or Walmart only have the same "hot items" and LEGO has discontinued something you were saving up for, then this place is the obvious choice, and when you finally drag yourself to Mike's store... you too will see that, this is an amazing store, and a "mom and pop" brick and mortar attitude still exist...but your favorite uncle is now in charge! ...and he has the coolest stuff!!! read more

Came in to find parts to complete my Star Wars sets that had been missing pieces for years. Was totally blown away by the friendliness, cleanliness, and overall nice atmosphere of the shop. The owner of the shop was a live saver, had parts that I assumed I was going to pay an arm and a leg for online. Very reasonable prices on sets and minifigs, I'll definitely be stopping by every so often. Don't think about it, stop by and see what they have.
