Came here for a couples massage and I would not consider returning at this time. I'll break down what worked and what didn't. As a disclaimer, this was only my third or fourth massage, so please read my review with the knowledge that I'm no massage expert! What worked; -- It was very easy and quick to make an appointment online. I was able to quickly book a next day session -- There was plenty of parking nearby and the place was easy to find -- The waiting room was clean and relaxing -- The massage room was quiet and comfortable, and all the staff we interacted with were very friendly -- We paid at the start and tipped that the end, which is a decent system What didn't work: -- My biggest issue is that the massage itself was very painful. Again, I'm new to massages, but even after asking the masseuse to go lighter three times, it was still too intense for me. I noticed that the masseuse (I didn't catch her name) applied tons of pressure to bony areas (shoulder blade, spine, tail bone, etc) which definitely hurt. This was a deep tissue massage, but it felt like a lot of the pressure was focused on my bonier areas rather than on my muscles. I wish the masseuse had been more responsive to my feedback or had checked in to make sure the pressure was okay. It's been a few hours since the massage and I'm feeling uncomfortably tender. I will also note that my partner shared that their massage went well, so my experience may just be unique to me. -- The masseuse also didn't replicate her massage techniques on each side of my body. For example, she popped the fingers of one hand but not the other, stretched one of my legs and not the other. I'm not sure if this was intentional but it seemed odd. -- Not a big issue, but we did have to wait about 15-20 minutes after our original appointment time to do our massage. I didn't mind waiting, but it may be wise not to make any time sensitive plans immediately after your visit here Overall, this place was not for me! I didn't love my massage therapist's work but someone seeking a lot of intensity in their massage may enjoy them more. Booked a lymphatic drainage massage but instead receive a deep tissue. The massage was really painful. At first, it began gently but quickly turned. Once LiLi started to use her elbow on my back I knew this was incorrect. A lymphatic massage is gently and zero painful. She confirmed with me that it was a lymphatic massage. I saw a hesitation implying maybe she's doesn't know; but was only person available. So she went ahead and did it and then asked for a tip afterwards. Worst massage I have experienced. I went to this spot because I found great reviews here on Yelp even though it is pricey (somethings you normally get during a massage is an add on here). Also my main spot was booked. I was excited because I was overdue for my biweekly massage and have been in a lot of pain special my feet. From the start, they ran a bit late because the lady said they were busy. You walk in and the waiting area is pretty nice however, the room was way too hot it was hard for me to breathe so I had to wait outside until it was my turn. The massage tech was nice. The entire message was not relaxing for me though for a number of reasons. It was too hot for me and I was having a hard time breathing especially face down. When I was asked to turned to my back there was no support under my legs and my entire low back was hurting. The tech was massaging my bones rather than going around it. I booked the Deep Tissue / Swedish Massage and added Thai Massage stretching. I was hoping feet were included as it mentioned on their website, but my tech only touched my ankles to stretch me did not massage my feet at all. I don't think I will be going back. This was my first time at this spa location. The massage itself was okay; however, I had a very unpleasant interaction with the massage therapist. She seemed agitated, rude, and passive when giving instructions on when to move up, down, or turn over on the table. I accidentally laid on the bed instead of the second sheet since those were the instructions provided to me, and she ended up yelling at me and making very rude remarks. After the service ended, she appeared impatient while I was getting dressed and made a rude remark when I came out of the room. Additionally, it felt very unprofessional when she asked if I was going to leave a tip. I still provided a 20% tip, but she seemed upset and appeared to expect more, which was uncomfortable--especially given her demeanor throughout the appointment. I have never had an experience like this before, and it was disappointing. As a healthcare professional myself, I understand the importance of professionalism, respect, and creating a comfortable environment for clients, patients and individuals. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect that. Because of this, I would not return to this location or request this massage therapist again. Lyra is great!!! We went to a concert at Levi's Stadium the night before and were beat up from such a good night. We scheduled just the 60 minute massages but should've done the 90 minute because these were the best massages we've ever had! The place was very clean and quiet. I don't get the names of our masseuse's but I had a male and my husband had a female. Their technique and pressure was perfect! They targeted all the right areas and made the experience so relaxing and refreshing, we both felt so loose and light when we left. We even bragged about the massages to our Lyft driver and told him if he ever gets massages, that's where he needs to go! I definitely recommend Lyra, and will definitely come back if we are ever in the area again! 10/10 read more

The massages were intense. I didn't realize I was so stiff. They focused on the areas we indicated prior to the massage. My masseuse really concentrated on my shoulders. She successfully got the knot out that I had been bothering me all week. I could hear my husband's massuese going to town on his back. She bruised him a bit but got the knots out of his calves. I went to this place (on 2/13/25 at 5:20pm after work) for the 1st time based off the reviews and I was NOT disappointed. Before I even get to the massage service that I got, I want to acknowledge this company's extremely professional website. It shows the prices, explains what each type of massage or service entails and is overall done beautifully. Booking online was easy (they have time slots to fit almost any schedule) AND they actually have you fill out an intake form which asks how you like your pressure, if you prefer a man/woman/ neutral, if you want a specific masseuse, what areas you want special attention and when your last massage was. The website is a preview to the great service you will experience in person. Coco was my masseuse and she gave me a 1 hour deep tissue massage that was amazing! She checked with me on the pressure at least twice but it was already just the way I like it (medium pressure). I asked for extra attention on my shoulders, shoulder blades, lower back and calves and she definitely put in extra work on all those areas. I will say that I was on my stomach a little longer than I'd prefer BUT, I think that was simply because she was focusing more on those areas I asked for so honestly, no complaint there. I got exactly what I asked for. Next time I'm not going to ask for extra attention anywhere and just see what a "regular" one hour deep tissue feels like (which I expect is still amazing). Now, a lot of massage oils were used and at first I was nervous it would all be left on me because in my experience, it usually is, yeah - NO. Coco wiped the oils off with a warm towel and I was SO pleasantly surprised. I freakin melted into the table that much more. Overall, this is one of the best massages I've received in a really long time (I was going to the same person for 10 years and wasn't getting what I wanted out of it anymore). This is 100% my new spot, hands down! I'm looking forward to trying other masseuses (just because I can, not because I didn't love Coco because I did and I will go to her again but everyone has different styles) and other services as well. I also want to point out how CLEAN this place is. I could smell the laundry detergent on the sheets and they were definitely fresh. I went to use the bathroom and the automatic light pops on and you're in a beautiful marble bathroom (pictured). If it wasn't one thing it was another! And I mean that in the best way possible! I've told a lot of my co-workers about this place (because it's barely 2 miles away from us) and encouraged them to check it out as well. The prices are very reasonable too. I booked online and had an appointment setup for the Signature Massage with Deep Tissue. Everything was frictionless. The massage therapist had good even pressure and was receptive about my stiff neck muscles from sleep and work. I haven't had a massage in a long time but i am glad i did and it was very easy and convenient. After the session, I felt truly relaxed and relieved. The receptionist was also polite and attentive.
