Super friendly workers. They gave us an upgrade for free! We got a beautiful new Nissan Rogue that was very clean and a great ride. Shuttle drivers were super helpful and kind. Return was quick and easy. The ONLY thing I didn't like was finding the way to the shuttle at the airport. It's not clearly marked and we didn't know where to go which was a little frustrating. But I think that's more of a problem with the airport and not having adequate signage. read more

I have rented many rental cars and this was by far the worst experience I've had. The only up side was a car upgrade bc I had to wait so long in line for the car. 1. There is a reason, actually many reasons why their rates are so cheap. 2. The location is NOT at the Phx Sky Harbor Airport. Even though that is what is advertised on carrentals.com and on their website. 3. The shuttle only loops around every 30 minutes. They say you can reserve it but I couldn't figure out how to do that. 4. I entered all my info into the app like drivers license and insurance and they said it would speed up the process. It did not. 5. There were 8 people ahead of me when I got there and only one person at the computer. He said the other person called out sick. But it seems as I read the other reviews there is always an excuse for being understaffed. Stood in line for an hour and a half. From pick up at the airport to leaving in the car was two hours. 6. No one shows you to the car. The method is point your key fob and hit the panic button. There was blue tape on my car and it had a lot of dirt and water spots on it. 7. Location was in a sketchy neighborhood and run down building 15 minutes from the airport. 8. Return was difficult as where to park it was not clearly marked. read more

This place is beyond hood and straight up rachet. Honestly, stay away I wish I could give 0 stars. Van driver from the airport was nice but we had to wait about 15 minutes both ways for the shuttle. Pickup and return was really a cluster f. There are 2 desks and it takes like 30 minutes+ to get your car even when pre registering as the shuttle suggests. They want your car insurance policy info but I don't know why. Car had 0 windshield fluid in a dusty city which I found odd and honestly poor maintenance but I'm not paying out of my pocket for something that should be regularly checked. read more

I agree with the other one star reviews. I booked this rental through a third party, and it clearly stated that the car rental location was onsite at the airport. When I arrived, I had to navigate on my own just to find a shuttle that took me to an offsite location. That already felt misleading and started the experience off poorly. When I finally arrived, I waited over an hour to receive a vehicle. They would not accept my personal auto insurance and insisted on additional coverage. I knowingly agreed to pay one specific quoted amount, but by the end of the transaction, I was charged nearly three times what I had agreed to. During the process, the sales representative added an extra 250 dollars and verbally told me it would be refunded after I returned the car. I hesitated but accepted the vehicle, although I did not feel confident about what she told me. I was not given a printed receipt and was told it would be emailed. When I reviewed the emailed receipt, there was no mention of any pending refund. I contacted corporate, and they confirmed there was no refund noted on the account. I was in town in early December 2025 for a four day conference. On the second day, I drove back to the rental location and spoke with the manager. He acknowledged that the sales representative had not been transparent and submitted a written request for a 250 dollar refund. He told me I could continue using the car for the remainder of my rental. After my trip, I followed up with corporate several times. It took four separate calls, and I was never able to reach the district manager who was supposedly handling my case. Nothing was resolved. I then disputed the charge with my credit card company, but the dispute was denied. I wish they had been upfront from the beginning. This is the worst car rental option anyone can choose. Unfortunately, if you're using a 3rd party app, like Priceline, you'll find yourself stuck with a spot like this while not knowing what you're getting into. Unfortunately. First, they advertise as being close to the airport, which they are not. There are legit airport location rental companies like Hertz right there. These guys are different than that. Miles different. It's so lame that you have to either walk a good length to an airport shuttle station for a ride to this place. And that ride comes sparsely. In 110 degree heat, you're waiting, waiting, waiting. If you choose instead one of the leech gypsy cabbies, they will grossly overprice you. It's lose/lose. Once you're there, the staff will lethargically sleepwalk through the whole process of you renting one of their substandard cars. The guy waiting on me literally got up and walked off, never to return, before even taking my information. Oh my God. Then, a woman named Jo took over and boy did she deliver. She was smart and efficient and patient and clearly deserves a better job. I had been there about a half hour already, wasting my time, but when she was freed up, I was in and out. The car was dirty and dented and generally unkept. I don't know how or why they stay in business. Because this business is terrible. Not to mention horribly overpriced with various ways to limit you (like, if you want to bring drop off their lousy car a day early, you're stuck with the original charge. Etc.) Edited to add: DONT BOOK THIS PLACE. Upon returning our car around 715 this morning (the place opened at 7), the manager wasn't even there so we 1) couldn't get a shuttle back to airport and 2) they told us to video everything including us dropping the key in the box and to make sure we videoed the car turning on and showing that there wasn't a tire light or any other lights showing on the dash. SUPER sketchy and the shuttle driver told us they would try and get us on literally the smallest thing including stuff out of our control like a tail light going out. Terrible business and awful that they actively try and charge customers for extra stuff. There are so many bad things about this place. AGAIN, DO NOT BOOK -- SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE!!!!!!! Really disappointed in this place. To start, we waited almost 2 hours in the lobby before we even got our car. At one point we waited while another party searched their phones for insurance info for 30 min and the clerk didn't ask them to step aside. Once we finally got the car we noticed some exterior damage which isn't that big of a deal, just not ideal. Then when we started driving the car we realized it had such a bad shake. It's make us both nauseous throughout the week it's so bad. They overbooked and didn't even have a car available the night of our reservation--yet made no effort to inform us. We only discovered the issue while trying to track down their missing shuttle. When we called the next morning as the had suggested, they told us our reservation had been canceled and marked as a no-show. Their solution? Book again. Completely unacceptable. Let's see answering the phone would be my first suggestion! Corp office couldn't even get in touch with them to resolve an issue we were having with our rental! The rental car itself wasn't in greatest shape. The alignment was so off the car would strongly pull to the left if you let go of steering wheel for split second. Then there was weird sound coming from front end of car when stopping or turning - like the axle was about to break. We called and called to try and get a replacement no one answers the phone. Corp suggested we go there but couldn't confirm if they could swap out vehicles because they didn't have anything other than a small car. We need an SUV and they wouldn't let us cancel for refund and go elsewhere. I do not recommend this place. read more

I should have read the reviews before I booked, but i was booking the same day. Getting to the shuttle is a huge pain in the a**. And if you're not lucky in your timing, you may be waiting 30 minutes for your shuttle. Then, it's an approx 8 minute drive. Shuttle driver (Dennis) was informative when we got going. Arrived at the office and the check-in process was slow. (Tip: Make sure you have your insurance info and return flight confirmation info handy.). Eighty (80!) minutes after I had deplaned, I had a car, but it was not a standard SUV as I had ordered. Also, it took so long that the shuttle driver (Dennis) had gone back to the airport and returned again. Mind you, I was only 3rd in line when I arrived at the rental office. The car I finally got was nice enough. But, to be clear, this hassle was not worth the $20-$40 I saved for my 2 day trip...not by a long shot! But I didn't know what I was getting into with this rental agency. Now that I do and I can say with 100% certainty that I would never use them again. As well as some of the other reviews I booked thru a 3rd party travel site that stated the Easirent was located in PHX airport which was false. It was offsite and required a shuttle to get to, which signage was terrible at the airport.. I believe we got lucky though as the shuttle got there relatively quick after we found the pick up spot. The driver of the shuttle was extremely nice and helpful. Gave us tips on rental car return which made it super easy for us on our way out. Getting the car was easy, and it was freshly washed, but def had some dirt marks on it, but that was the least of my concern. It was available right away, we did have to pay a $250 deposit like the other reviews said, but we got the deposit back today! I'm guessing this company doesn't do well with a large volume of customers, but if you're traveling around a non busy time and want something that won't cost $400 then check this place out! Go if you want the lowest prices, but know this- if you have to go to the airport after dropping the vehicle off- prepare to wait a while for the shuttle. ALSO, the shuttle doesn't take you to the airport, it drops you off at the rental car area. That's to time consuming, so I've had to call an uber to get me to the airport on time. That's one of the cons of renting with this low cost agency. Another is they rent out vehicles that have dents and damage- not cute. I rented a small suv that had a back light broken, and chalk writing on the window. Good thing I don't embarrass easily. The cars aren't too clean. Rented in Phoenix to drive to Tucson. Prices were the lowest we found, but you have to take an extra shuttle AFTER getting taking the sky train to get there, and our car engine failed 20 miles outside of Phoenix, leaving us stranded on the side of busy highway in the dark just before 10:00pm on the day before Thanksgiving! We managed to get a hold of the employee on duty. She was obviously concerned for us but had no management backup and no resources to call us a cab/uber/etc. to get us back to the office. She was staying late and working alone to assist other people but gave us her personal mobile number and said she'd try to figure something out. We personally arranged a tow-truck pickup for the car in the meantime. The employee was in contact with us and eventually convinced another employee to come with her to drive out to us with a new vehicle. So, WAY after closing time, on a holiday, instead of going home to their own families, these people drove 20 miles to come rescue us. They brought an upgraded vehicle and we finished our journey. So, Jennie (the employee) this is your 5-star review. You are an absolute rockstar and are the sort of person that any company is very lucky to have. You are promotion-material and deserve AT LEAST a raise. You (and your co-worker who came with you) are the reason this isn't a 1-star review. We hope your Thanksgiving was great, you were certainly a shining star in ours. Overall for review purposes: The price is great, but give yourself at least 30-45 minutes of extra travel time allowance and hopefully your car doesn't die! Decided to try out a members deal being offered through my bank and found this company offering a very affordable rate. I'd say this is a great example of 'you get what you pay for'. Overall the booking process was easy and if you can get over the inconvenience of waiting for their shuttle to take you to and from the airport to their off site building then it's worth looking into renting with them. Although their fleet of cars are fairly newer models, the one we got wasn't even washed (the minimum of what I'd expect) and it kept warning us of low tire pressure. Since we were mainly driving around the city I wasn't too worried but we did drive out to Sedona one day and one tire went all the way down to 19psi at which point I had to put air in it obviously. Immediately after putting air in the tires we got a warning for it needing an oil change. They clearly can take the time to maintenance their vehicles better. Again, if you are looking to save money, can afford the extra time to be shuttled to and from their building to the airport then this is the spot for you - I would just check the car thoroughly beforehand. read more

The vehicle pickup location in Phoenix is 10-12 minutes from the main rental car pickup building. Not a huge issue if they had more than one shuttle running, their direct competition had at least 3 shuttles. I booked a rental for 12/26 through expedia. When I arrived at the PHX airport you have to leave the rental facility to go to their offsite location via a shuttle that comes every 30 minutes. After waiting and getting to their location, we were told they only had 3 cars left for about 9 families waiting. They took down my name and never called to resolve. I rented a vehicle here for a week while my car was in the shop, but the experience was nearly a disaster. Almost immediately after hitting the freeway, I noticed a loud, concerning noise coming from the rear end that sounded like a failing wheel bearing. Because my personal car was finished early, I returned the rental the following day. I expected a simple adjustment to my bill, but instead, I was met by a manager named "Lydia", who was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She flat-out refused to offer a refund for the unused days and insisted on charging me for the full 7-day rental despite the car being in poor mechanical condition. Her "nasty attitude" and lack of basic customer service skills were shocking for someone in a leadership role. I was ready to walk out and escalate the issue to corporate immediately. Thankfully, I encountered another manager, "Nolan", on my way out. Nolan is the only reason this isn't a one-star review. He actually listened, acknowledged the mechanical issues with the first car, and went above and beyond to make it right. He moved me into a much newer, safer vehicle and provided the level of service Lydia clearly lacks. Nolan outshined his peer in every way, but upper management seriously needs to have a conversation with Lydia about how she treats paying customers. It has been nearly two weeks and they have not refunded anything and no communication even after I emailed corporate manager Morgan Koehler (no way to call corporate). Once I got my bags I realized I had to take the sky train to the car rental center, then go down and wait for a pickup. I waited over half an hour and it was another 10 min drive to the rental. By the time I got there they canceled my reservation completely and said there was nothing they could do for me. I was about 1.5 hours later than i reserved, but half of that time was due to the inconvenience of their location and the slowness of their shuttle service. Considering they are advertised at being at an airport they really should really have a better grace period considering flights commonly get delayed and their pickup is slow! I rented a car for 10 days at the Phoenix Easirent in Oct. 2025. I didn't realize the rental office wasn't at the airport. I got the shuttle to their nearby location within 30 min. Renting was easy, I received a nice 2025 Chevy Trailblazer comparable to the car I initially rented. I did purchase the extra tire and windshield insurance, because the on a previous trip, I crack the rental window and pay 3 times the price for replacement. Only had one issue with this rental, which is the security system on the car lock up after 7 days. This was solved within 45 minutes and a call to the rental company and then to the Chevy help line. They were both very helpful. The car ran great, good mileage. Return of car and a 30 min shuttle back to the airport went smoothly. Good rental price, so I would recommend if you want to save and don't mind taking a shuttle, and renting from a less know car rental firm. read more

This was hands-down one of the worst rental experiences I've ever had. First, the pickup location was not at the Phoenix airport as clearly advertised online. We had to arrange separate transportation just to get to their off-site location--completely unacceptable for anyone flying in expecting airport pickup. Second, the vehicle we reserved--a Hyundai Santa Fe--was not available. We were given a "similar" vehicle, but it was significantly smaller and did not accommodate our luggage as expected. We had to put our bags in the back seat, making the ride cramped and uncomfortable for passengers. To top it off, the car was visibly dirty inside and out when we picked it up.
