I don't understand what the purpose is of making a car reservation when I show up to pick up my car and then I have to wait 20 to 30 minutes while they wash and prep the car. This has happened that last two time I have rented a car from this location in the last 2 weeks and it didn't used to be this way. I noticed there are new staff and am not sure if this has anyting to do with it . I noticed that even though I was kept waiting for my car Enterprise recorded my rental start time at the reservation time...not right! read more

I've never had an easier and more pleasant experience at a rental car place than this one! They were super helpful with our many questions over the phone prior to our pickup. Pickup was quick and the staff were super friendly. The interior is comfy to wait in (I'm sitting there right now waiting for a Lyft to the airport after dropping my car off) and they even have a little golf putting practice to keep people like me (perpetual child) entertained. POOR SERVICE HORRIBLE CARS!! I booked a reservation for a week and during my trip the vehicle I was given jerks so bad it definitely needs looking at and the radio wouldn't connect to my phone at all so I was stuck listening to BS radio music the whole trip! After trying to reach someone I decided to go back and ask to trade vehicles, the Store manager seen I had a discount code n hounds me about it! He also questioned my 6yr old daughter asking for information about me behind my back trying to be sneaking and whispering where your mom works etc and I asked my child what is he asking you and when she tells me he then says he apologize etc etc but no why are you questioning a baby and trying to be discreet with it so yes I tell him he outta line for tha don't ask my kid anything ask me! so when I finally was able to pull up my check stubs he goes that's not enough and cancels my rental and puts me n my kids out! So now me n a 6 and 7yr old is STRANDED with no communication because my phone has died by this point and we in a bad ass area surrounded by homelessness and drug addicts! We was stranded for 5hrs all because he cancelled our rental because he was mad I told him don't question my kids!! Do better! read more

I had an issue where I went to rent a car and had a balance owed from a prior rental and was placed on a do not rent list. It was an embarrassing and frustrating situation to say the least. I was told I needed to contact a risk management associate and I was referred to Rosa Nido. Speaking with Rosa was an excellent experience and I will rent from your company in the future just because of her. She was calm, professional and direct and told me how to resolve my issue immediately. Awful Company!!!!!! My husband booked me a rental car with Enterprise 1225 S. 7th St. apparently the next day Megan Toombs tried to contact me to notify me that there was no vehicle available for me. I was traveling all morning therefore I did not see this email. I took an uber to this location and Megan Toombs was outside--saw me getting out of the Uber (& other people arriving as well) She did NOT try to stop us & tell us there was no vehicle available and there was no sign outside stating: We are out of vehicles-Even IF you made an online reservation! So, I & others go inside all happily & wait in line!!!! We wait in line to finally get up to the front and be told -Sorry! Your'e out of luck-We have no cars available for anyone. I & others had to go outside---they literally kicked us to the curb outside on the main street (as they were closing at this time) & we all had to order ANOTHER UBER!!!! I had to wait on the curb of a busy street with my luggage for another Uber! I could have easily told my 1st Uber driver to please take me to my location (which was an hour away!!!) I ended up having to rush to get another Uber & then rush to get ready for the wedding I was attending! I am appalled with Enterprise & most appalled at how this was handled. Rudest woman ever!!! Next time put a sign outside on the curb in BIG LETTERS--NO VEHICLES AVAILABLE EVEN IF YOU RESERVED ONLINE!! SO SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE!!!!! HOW HARD IS THAT?!!! I am rating this location a 1 star. I have used this Enterprise Rent-A-Car location twice, both in June and July of 2021. Each, with some complication. The first time I rented from here in June, after my $50 deposit, I was returned less than half back once I returned the rental. I called, and spoke to a young lady who said I was charged extra because I was given a car that where tax rate went a little over my $30 per day rental benefit through my auto insurance. Even after I specifically asked that it not exceed that. She said she would correct it, and never did. July 2021: Second rental, my second $50 security deposit is not returned in full. I call and speak to someone who clearly doesn't know what he is talking about, and tells me the reason why I wasn't returned the full amount is because I didn't fill the gas tank above the halfway point. I continue to tell him when the woman and I did the inspection and walkthrough, we both noticed the Dodge Charger was previously filled a quarter above the halfway mark. I asked, how I should return the gas tank, she said "just return it half way, like the rest of the vehicles". I then said, are you sure, normally it's just halfway, I do not want to be charged extra. She assured me not to worry, I would not be charged extra, and halfway would be right enough to receive my full security deposit. False. I was not given my full deposit, the man I spoke to continued to call me "brother", and told me I misheard, misunderstood, and the woman misspoke. Not sorry, but when someone misquotes, or relays false information, this is corrected by your upper management. I found this incredibly offensive, and disrespectful. I am paying for your business, and was given false information. I will not return to this business, and nor will I refer anyone to this establishment. read more

Huge disappoint. I was running late to pick up the reserved vehicle. I called the location as I was going to be late and I was told no problem. I had reserved a mini van and when I arrived I was told bthat they did not have my van available. There was one in the parking lot however they told me they rented it out to someone else because they didn't know I was going to pick up the van because I was late?? Unfortunately I did not get the name of the person I spoke to when I called, but I was able to show them my phone so they could see that I did in fact call there office. They said they would try to get another van from a different location. After waiting 15 minutes, I was told it would be another 15 minutes. read more

Some others in front of me had issues, but the ladies at the front were quick to fix the problem and offer solutions. Read the fine print! Don't believe what an employee says on the phone. Seems like every employee changed the policies on their own. Talked to 3 employees by phone. 1st in Tucson, then in San Antonio and then in Phoenix. 2 out of the 3 branches screwed us out of a rental because the employees at the location had a different take on the policies. Because of the "50 mile radius" policy, we could not rent a car from Phoenix to Tucson without a CC. 7.5 hours it took us to get from Phoenix to Tucson. All the agents could say was "sorry" they didn't even try to help a family of 4 out with any other resolutions. read more

I experienced Enterprise Phoenix E. McDowell Road "off airport" service for our recent trip. I ordered a Luxury vehicle for exploring the SW parks. I received a call the night before pickup to make sure I was still coming. The call freaked me out, but the experience from Brandon and his team exceed my expectations. I arrived for the pickup and the clean luxury vehicle was waiting for me. The trip was a huge success and the vehicle was absolutely perfect. With the scarcity of vehicles they had to get the vehicle from Tucson. Although I was freaked I wasn't going to have my vehicle....Brandin and team came through with flying colors! I am renting again this month and highly recommend this location. They know customer service. They make it personal. And they made me feel like a welcome and important customer! Had a reservation to pick up a vehicle, I arrived on time and still waited almost 2 hours along with other customers in order to receive a car. They gave us a car that was literally turned in by a customer a few minutes prior (I watched him arrive). So much for getting a clean disinfected car? We returned the car a few days later at the same time of day as when we drove off the lot. We paid the bill & left. While at airport and reading my emailed receipt I noticed they charged us almost $20 per hour for 2 hours that they say we were late returning the car. Where's my $40 credit for having to wait 2 hours for you to give us a car in the first place? No mention of this charge when we checked out/paid. Just snuck it on the final tab. Bottom line, I drove off your lot at 1pm and returned your car at 1pm. There should have been $0 surcharge. I usually book here instead of bothering with the other rentals available via Sky Harbor but this made us feel cheated. 2 stars for the young lady that checked the car out to us because she was doing her best while clearly swamped. read more

Bad Service and bad manners. I am a young individual trying to rent a car and have rented in other states. I don't have any major credit cards on me and didn't realize that I had to have one. (My fault) But they made me feel uneducated about there policy of having a flight number to be able to rent a car with there store location. I am here for work and got a ride with a customer. Best rental car experience I've had. I appreciate the advanced notice by receiving a phone call the day before stating that there may be a little delay from our original time due to pick up car due to unforeseen car rental returns due in that morning . When we arrived, our wait was less than a half and hour for the car. Staff was very professional and car was clean. Upon return, again, the process was efficient. Renting about a 10 minute Uber ride from the airport saved us a significant amount of money as well. Approximately a total of $500.00 saved for a weekly rental. If in Phoenix again, I will definitely rent again from this location read more
