After a year of struggling with a screen door destroyed by two out of control puppies, I made the call. I got a response within the hour and had an at-home appointment for a few days later. My (elderly) mother really wanted a screen for her front door. You can buy a screen door at a big-box hardware store, but the selection is limited and then you have to install it yourself. The service was incredibly professional, and my mom was able to handle the entire transaction without any help from me. The selection of doors was perfect, and mom was able to find exactly what she wanted. The door is really nice and very high quality. The installation was perfect. I know some have said that the price is not cheap, but I found the price was to be very reasonable given the quality of the product and work. There was a long time between ordering the door and getting it, but this delay was anticipated and explained at the time of ordering, and everything went according to schedule. I can't say enough good things about this company. Don't hesitate to call them. Every time I visit my mom's house, I think how happy I am about this nice screen door. We had a break in. Person got into our backyard and broke through our back door despite the fact that years ago we installed 8 mil clear film. Okay So I don't know if my review counts since I actually didn't even get a screen from these guys, but wanted to. I contacted East Bay Screens all the way back in June because I wanted a full screen door for my front door, and possible triple screen for a large california room. They responded within the week and Leslie came out to do estimates. We went over styles, what we wanted and he did measurements. He let us know it will take time to order and such, which is fine. Buttttt, that was it. I didn't get a single response after the measurements. No quotes, no calls, no emails. We've exchanged emails prior and they had my number so I'm not sure why they would drop a large sale just like that. However, it's been nearly 6 months and I've given up. read more

Our most recent project involved making two dozen solar screens, including frames. Leslie's quote was $230.00 less than the other guy. He quoted a price for EVERY screen, along with the grand total.
