I felt it was a bit of an expensive option, but was in a bind and was informed of the charges before agreeing to the work. After reviewing Yelp, Screen Doctors seemed the way to go. I only needed to have four, sun beaten screens to be replaced. I own the home, but live out of town and needed someone to come out to repair them. The price of the screen repair was reasonable, but a trip charge of $95.00 seems more than I had been charged for other home services. Still, I am paying for a convenience. If you are local and don't mind dropping them off, the re-screening itself is very affordable. Seems a really good option. We had a need to have two sliding door screens replaced after several years of normal use. Courtney did an excellent and efficient job of replacing the screens. In addition, one of the screen door frames didn't slide easily or smoothly and I mentioned to Courtney it was that way from day 1. I had even called the window/glass door installer and asked them about it after the doors were initially installed. They just sprayed the track with a silicone spray and made it slide a little easier. We just learned to live with it. Courtney checked the frame, noticed it wasn't installed properly, made the adjustment and fixed it all in record time. We couldn't be more pleased with the cost-effective service Courtney provided!!
