I don't recommend this agency. My husband and I adopted a puppy as an anniversary present to each other. The same night we brought Jasper home, he had diarrhea and vomitted, the 2 signs of Parvo. The next morning, Sarah, sent me an email stating one of Jasper's littermates tested positive for Parvo. I had to cancel our vet appointment due to Parvo being extremely contagious. Our vet advised us to take him to the hospital. At the hospital, Jasper tested positive for Parvo. Another one of Jasper's littermates was at the hospital at the same time. We know of 3 littermates that had Parvo. The litter was 6. They knew this litter had Parvo and they adopted them out. What kind of rescue is this? Jasper spent 4 days in the hospital and $9,000 later!! Sarah said we should've gotten the insurance. The insurance does not cover pre-existing conditions...Parvo. They don't want to except any responsibility. I asked for some sort of compensation and we received nothing. Not even an apology. Also Jasper was suppose to be a Chihuahua/mix. Lia told me the mother was a Chihuahua and 20 lbs. Well Jasper is far from a Chihuahua. At 10 months he's 60 lbs! We did a DNA test on him and there's no Chihuahua in him. We had to put a fence in the backyard also so he can run. As I have read other reviews, this is not the first time this has happened with this agency. I wish I read the reviews first. Sarah very kind, Leah very kind, Emily was a condescending very unpleasant person. To speak to me the way she did when I was trying to adopt a puppy was not acceptable to me, after I had a family event come up, I decided to not adopt from her. They have very nice dogs to adopt, just hope you don't have to deal with Emily. I commend all who save dogs but to be talked to as she did me was very unkind, I am a very detailed person, I was trying to make sure pup I wanted was there as she stated it could be adopted out from under me even though I had appointment, so was mixed messages than what I had experienced before, and what the very kind Sarah had told me, which is that they save you a dog if you have appointment. Emily told me as long as noone adopted before me, the pup would be there, but, I had an appointment? The dogs are lovely, as is anyone else I dealt with. I would say to Emily, drop your condescending tone and find joy in finding the pups good homes. We all have bad days, we all get overwhelmed Emily. Just for adopters, I would 100% encourage you to adopt from these gals, just be patient if have to deal with Emily. We all have busy lives girl, its not just you! read more

I wanted to come back and do an update since I saw people posting they had health concerns with their puppies, particularly parvo. Arlo is now almost 6 months old and the picture of perfect health. He is now fully vaccinated and has had no health concerns. When I went to the foster's house, they kept the same litter together but, had two different litters in different rooms. I still stand by my four star review and they are an awesome place to adopt from. The foster even checks in from time to time to see how Arlo is doing and wanted to see pictures of him growing up! Also, I mentioned in my previous review that I would rate five stars if they offered more things like microchipping and the like. I stand by that as well but, would like to add that East Coast Adoption Agency is a 501(c)3 and my local shelter gives low cost adoption to dogs adopted from a 501(c)3. Like many others that have adopted from this agency, I also was sold a dog with Parvo. I had my dog home for exactly 1 whole day before he became sick and had to be rushed to the vet. He was in intensive care for 3 days total, after being sent home once and brought back. Lucky for us, he did make it. All told our bill for this dog was upwards of $1,900. When I initially reached out to the foster parent (Holly), I told her to keep an eye on her current puppies and abstain from getting new ones as the dog very clearly got Parvo from her residence. The incubation period is 3 - 10 days roughly, and the dog was with her for 14 days. She replied that I was incorrect, and the incubation period was "more like 3 to 23 days unfortunately". A nice attempt to cover their ass, but incorrect and not at all typical. Plus with all the other people saying their puppies contracted Parvo from the shelter, it's pretty obvious that's where ours got it. AND HOLLY WAS SENT ANOTHER BATCH PUPPIES ANYWAY. DO NOT BUY PUPPIES FROM THAT FOSTER. I spoke to a few dog lovers at work about all this, and got in contact with a woman who manages a shelter that says she's been trying to expose this agency for years. I did my research to confirm they are in fact non-profit. They are easy to adopt from (obviously, they have to peddle those sick dogs out the door), and - apart from selling sick puppies - are very nice. Sarah, the owner did try to help us with insurance. We ended up picking up the free insurance for 30 days and signing up for premier after that. Unfortunately the free insurance only covers up to $500. Sarah said she was going to contact the insurance agency to have them listen to the call to see if we were offered the premier. I told her I was fairly certain my boyfriend told them to start the premier after 30 days. She insisted she would email them anyway. My thought was that she was going to try and pull a favor because she felt bad that she had sold us a dying dog. And rightfully so. But nah, she just forwarded me an email of the company saying that we were offered premier and that was that. I asked for help with the vet bills. Even refunding the cost of the dog would have been something. Nope, no go. They make you sign a contact that basically states you understand the dog could be sick. Of course it's presented in such a way that they want you to understand the dogs come from southern shelters and could have picked up something there. I never expected them to make my dog sick, and then sell him to me. So beware. You could ABSOLUTELY buy a sick puppy from these people. A puppy that THEY have made sick. And they will show a lot of vocal support but ultimately won't really do anything to help. Another thing to note, at the beginning, Sarah flat out denied that my dog had Parvo. She insisted that his littermates had Coccidia and Worms, and that she has "Never ever seen a dog break with Parvo after being vaccinated". We contacted the vet and made them run tests, which cost us more money and came back negative. Of course. So another thing to consider is that my dog WAS vaccinated, and still got the disease. Probably immediately. What I want to know - Sarah, is what would have happened to our dog had we not adopted him when we did? Would YOU have paid the 1,600 it cost to save his life? No, you would have been out a dog. The least, THE LEAST you can do after selling us a dying dog is refund the cost of the dog. You're deplorable. Stop selling people sick puppies. read more

I sadly have to give this place a low rating. While some of the foster people were nice and very easy to talk with. Some either would take a while to respond back or not at all. We tried 4 separate attempts to adopt and we had ended up going with a different adoption center that worked better for us. If you are someone who is available 24/7, doesn't work, doesn't have responsibilities, and can pick up a dog right away then this place would work for you. They don't hold dogs and depending on the person can take multiple attempts to get a hold of someone. I understand as fosters it can be difficult and they are doing a great thing, but they have a lot of things I feel that can be worked on/they might want to look more into other sheltering foster agencies or adoption centers to improve customer satisfaction. read more

Having adopted an 8 week old puppy on June 9, a puppy cleared for adoption in supposedly good health; my dog came down with parvo on Tuesday June 14. He had severe diarrhea and was vomitting all might. By the time we got him to the vet Wednesday morning he was severely dehydrated and very sick. The vet sent us immediately to the ER as parvo is a very contagious viral disease in the intestines which can cause damage to the heart muscle and cause lifelong cardiac problems. He was quarantined and i was told he might not live. I was given a quote for medical treatment of $2,100 to $3,100 with a hospital stay of 2-4 days. Within 48 hours his medical bills were $2,700 and an additional deposit of $1,700 was required if he as not picked up by 7 pm., which they did not recommend. He was not ready for homecare. I called East Coast Adoption in Newark on Wednesday morning and Darlene repeatedly told me that those medical bills were my responsibility regardless of the fact that the dog had been in my possession 5 days and the vet said the incubation was longer than that. She said the dog was sick when I got him. East Coast accepts no responsibility in adopting out a severely contagious dog nor have they ceased adoptions or notified owners of adoptees that were in contact with my dog or the foster hone from where he came. They did not check him for it before letting him come home with me. Now I am sitting with close to $4,000 in medical bills for a puppy I adore but should have been better cared for by East Coast adoption. Read the fine print when adopting from this agency and dont be impressed with their free 30 day insurance gift, which is a ploy to buy more insurance and only after the gift has been activated 14 days! So any illness in the first 2 weeks is considered a pre-existing condition. They need to call their liability carrier for this case! Read the review from August 2015 and you will change your mind beg ire adopting there. Update: this morning Carl died, 8 weeks old in pain and taken from his mother too soon. Do not adopt from this shelter. Carl supposedly was cleared by a vet- seriously. They don't deserve 1 star but there has to be a rating to post. Very sad day. read more

We adopted Riley in February of 2013, from east coast adoption agency and we were very pleased with how quickly we were able to get an appointment to see him and we're so happy to be able to take him home right away especially since we lived 40 minutes away. He did have fleas but he was treated the night before when he and his litter mates arrived. We gave him another dawn soap bath that night and had no further problems. Riley is a great dog with a sweet temperament and a wonderful addition to our family! We did the wisdom DNA test on him and found out he was a lab,Norwegian elkhound, old English sheepdog! My son and his girlfriend bought a puppy wed night for $280 and made to sign a contract that states health of puppies is not guaranteed. He had diarrhea while he was there, threw up on the way home and within 36 hours was in the vet hooked up to Iv's and in isolation. Last year I was searching for a rescue puppy that would meet our family's needs. We wanted a larger breed dog and when we saw an available puppy collie-lab mix we thought perfect. When I got there he seemed smaller than I would of thought. Renee assured me that they met both parents and he is what they said. I'm noticing some mixed reviews about this adoption agency; and it baffles me. Sure it does put up some red flags; like for example, I filled my application out on a Saturday night in April 2015- I received a phone call the next afternoon claiming I could come whenever I was available, so I was a little worried this would not be enough time to give me a proper back ground check (but I did have a decent job so I didn't question it). When I arrived at the Delaware location i was warmly greeted and it was with the puppy I chose to look at (Jack at the time). I loved him right away- he didn't look malnourished, and I did inspect him for fleas while I was there because well, he was coming from a shelter and sometimes foster parents are housing quite a number a dogs- so I kinda expected at least to see fleas (he didn't have them) Jack was in great shape, he was a shy 20 lb puppy . I took him to the vet within the next four weeks and the vet said he was "the picture of health" I was happy. Some things with our new baby came down the line but it was no ones fault- we now know Jack has allergies from the grass as well as a gluten intolerance. Sure we spent a large sum of money at the vet trying to figure out why his stool was abnormal and why he was getting flaky patches on his skin, but we knew this responsibility came with getting a puppy from a shelter/unknown origin. When you are rescuing a puppy - you're doing just that. Rescuing. You don't know their background information or what kind of life they had before, so sometimes you're going to be in for surprises. We should just be happy we got the chance to rescue one of these loving and affection puppies and be grateful they are now and forever going to be taken care of properly. Our baby doesn't have a temperament problem and is great around other people and kids so I really don't care how much money I have to spend on our new loving, loyal companion - I'm just happy he has a great home filled with love and I can be assured that's how he'll live for now on. read more

This should have been a terrible situation for my puppy but due to the wonderful volunteers here it turned out wonderfully. Lola (formerly Sydney) came from Puerto Rico through For the Love of Satos, whom this agency works with. They don't have spay/neuter programs like we do. The foster mother was located nearby and I got to meet the puppy right away. The foster had clean kennels, was well equipped, and had plenty of toys for the dogs. Lola had been adopted by another family and then dropped off 2 weeks later. It had nothing to do with the puppy. She was absolutely fine. There was a time crunch so I did take her rather quickly but the foster checked up on her regularly in the beginning to assure Lola was in good hands. It was apparent that before I got her she was well cared for. I got a healthy happy puppy who started out life on the street in Puerto Rico. I don't even want to think about what would have hapless to her if For the Love of Satos didn't get her and East Coast didn't bring her here. read more

When I was looking for a dog to adopt, I was at first interested in going through East Coast Adoptions because they seemed to have a variety of puppies available and were constantly updating their site - it made the search much easier than other alternatives in the area. Then I came across the reviews here and was briefly turned away - it made me think that they were sketchy or unreliable. However, I ultimately decided to give them a chance and in light of the good experience I had, I feel the need to relay that here. My fiance and I visited one of the foster homes (Holly in Smyrna, NY), to look at the dogs there. She had about 10 dogs on the premises of varying breed and personality. Because the dogs are almost all mutts from the South, their breeds are pretty much guessed, but Holly gave us as much information as she could, which was pretty ample to get an idea of how big they'd get or what their recent history was. We were able to play with any of the dogs we were interested in, to gauge their personalities. She was very forthcoming about the fact that one of the dogs was recovering from Parvo, and the treatment it had received prior. Ultimately, we fell in love with one of the pups there (~3 months old) and adopted her on the spot. The process was easy and straightforward, and she came with documentation of her medical history (along with the rest of her de-worming treatment at the time). We've had our dog for a month now, and she's been an absolute joy and a sweetheart. We believe she may have had the very beginnings of kennel cough (though this was us being very proactive about a slight cough), which was easily and inexpensively treated with some antibiotics from the vet. Overall, I'm content with my experience through ECA, and there wasn't anything alarming or negative about the experience. Granted, all dogs are different and each foster home may be different, but I'd think that any diligent would-be dog owner should have a fine experience finding a good dog through them. read more

My family and I were looking to rescue/adopt a certain puppy from Sarah(NY) at east coast adoptions. I was in contact with her who stated that the pup would be available Saturday afternoon and she would hold the pup until then for us. I emailed right back and asked for her to hold until Sunday due to having a wedding to attend. Did not receive anything back, so I called and Sarah 8 hours later and she tells me she has someone coming Friday night to pick up the pup. Really? She'll let someone adopt the animal right out from under me? She wasn't even going to email/call me and let me know? So she wasn't even going to hold it until Saturday. I adopted my puppy Carl, after 3 days be started showing symptoms of parvo. I loved him more than I can describe. I watched him suffer and die the worst way possible. He was with a foster named Kelly. I now learned that Kelly had a litter a month before that was sick with parvo. A VERY contagious disease that you should never have puppies around. She continues to foster litters in her home that is CONTAMINATED with parvo. It is a gastroentestinal virus that is highly contagious. It lives in soil for up to a year and the home has to Be thoroughly bleached and everything, EVERYTHING has to be disposed of. My puppy was brought to the hospital after vomiting, diarrhea and dry heaving. He was then transferred to a hospital that was the best in this care. After 3 days and $3000 I took him home where he died in front of me. A living thing that I "rescued", promised to protect and love, died in front of my eyes. I spent the night watching him vomit, bleed out of every possible organ and die. It was traumatizing. I would never recommend adopting from this agency, I don't believe they are a real rescue because a "rescue" would never knowingly adopt out sick dogs and not care. The response i got from Sarah and Darlene, the rescue presidents was "sorry for your turmoil" and "you were dealt a bad hand". I know have an emotional support fog due to the trauma of watching something I love die. I do not regret rescuing a dog. I regret not having enough time to love him. My Australian shepherd/lab mix never made it past 4 pounds, at ten weeks. He was either the runt or never was the age they said. They're accused of parvo on sever different cases, animal abuse as well. The agency refunded my money and has yet to Be accountable for the pain and suffering of my puppy, myself and those who knew him. I live in fear of this disease, I'm aware that "it happens" according to them. And I believed that. Until I was in touch with others who adopted from them. Now I KNOW they are aware that their fosters are adopting out dogs who are sick. And I told Kelly, Darlene and The president Sarah, who are well aware of the disease and that my dog was sick, other dogs were sick that passed through the foster and they did nothing but cover it up. My heart is broken. I threatened to go public and they returned my money. This is not a real agency. Do not put yourself or a dog through this. If we can all stop adopting from them they will have no choice but to shut down the "agency". I am begging anyone who is considering to please consider the future pets who will be adopted, loved and then lost to this disease. It isn't something j would wish upon my worst enemy. Carl lost everything. The ability to eat, drink, fight for his life. I spent the night with him watching his cry in pain and bleed to death. I held his lifeless body while I blamed myself. It was not my fault. It was the negligence of the agency. I want to make sure no one else goes through this pain. The hospital bills are unbelievable and if you return the dog it will be immediately euthanized like they told me to do. Please consider helping my fight against parvo and the fight to have this agency shut down. Google the disease. You CANNOT have puppies in a household after parvo and they continue to "rescue" and adopt out dogs from this contaminated foster. Do your research before adopting. Our family had just had our 2nd rescue dog of almost 14 years put down. We were heart broken...but then we saw the picture of the small beagle mix puppy. I filled out my paperwork and emailed it off- And Sarah got right back to me. I called her to ask about the beagle pup and she was very nice and professional on the phone. She said if we were ready I should try and come the next day because they were going to get 20 inches of snow. It felt a little rushed - but - when we thought of our puppy waiting in a pen by herself... well - I got up the next morning and drove three hours to pick her up! The facility was very clean and Sarah was very friendly and allowed me some time to meet our new puppy! She looked happy and healthy. She got a little car sick on the ride home - puppies do get car sick - she was fine and slept most of the way. The vet gave her her third set of shots and even though she had been de - wormed - they did need to dose her again. They confirmed that worms often take several swipes before they are gone. I called Sarah to let her know. All the people at the vet office and came in to see her - she was soooo cute! They think she is mixed with a bit of Jack Russel - which would make her a jackabee - beagle and JRT mix. Fine by us - we like walks and playing with her! DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT adopt from this shelter! Sick puppies with parvo adopted out from their foster homes! People you can not kill parvo with a 10 to 30 solution of bleach or any other cleaning product and it takes up to a year to have the virus completely eradicated from your home environment. It lives on the bottom of your shoes and then transmitted to wherever you walk. Changing of temperatures outside does not kill it whether grass or concrete and can live up to 10 years in the soil. Yet, they continue to bring more and more young unvaccinated puppies through these foster homes weekly. I got a 8 week puppy from them back in May. He vomited in the foster home before we left and we were told that he may have gotten into the bucket of soapy water that she used to clean up the floor after them. He continued to vomit throughout the night and by morning also started with bloody diarrhea. He was rushed to my vet and he tested positive for parvo, giardiasis, and scabies. He was then rushed to the emergency animal hospital for treatment. I called Kelly the foster regarding the vaccination records which did not make sense as this was 5/12 and he supposedly had his parvo/ distemper on 5/18 which was still 6 days away. Also, puppies at this age would be too young to get this shot. She told me to speak to Darlene the regional manager. I called Darlene who brushed me off and told me that the insurance would cover treatment. Unfortunately, even though I had activated the insurance the evening that I got my puppy it takes 24 hours for it to show their system and therefore you have a puppy with a preexisting condition and a 3000.00 vet bill for treatment. I was then told to call Sara in New York who told me to bring the puppy back to the shelter for treatment. I asked her why they couldn't pay for his treatment there since we were already at the animal hospital. She told me that he would not be able to be treated under their insurance there. I replied that I would drive him to where they would like him treated then. She told me that I would have to surrender him back to the shelter for care. I told her the only way I would do that was if I had a contract stating that when he was well, he would be returned to me. She refused and stated that if he became available for adoption again I could try to get him then. I also informed Sara at this time that my family had just lost our 9 year old lab to cancer and I could not see my children's hearts broken again.Something in my gut told me that this sunny outcome was not to be his fate if he was returned to them. Then she proceeded to tell me that I was just delt a bad hand. Unfortunately, she was the one that delt it! She offered to returned my 280.00 adoption fee which was peanuts compared to the enormous vet bill that I now faced for this sweet puppy in less than 24 hours of adopting him. Not to mention the unimaginable things that were in store for him over the course of treatment for this deadly disease. Thankfully, by the grace of God he pulled through, but I can see now why it takes the lives of these puppies so quickly. read more

MAS Sarah , on May 11th I was with Nicole when she adopted her dog. Three out of the four dogs slept the entire time, even when picking them up, they had no interest in playing. When we asked Kelly why they all appeared so lifeless and tired, we were told, several families had been there earlier in the day and the kids had tired them out. When one of the puppies got up to move, he immediately vomited, to which Kelly said he must have gotten into the bucket of solution which she was using to mop up the floor. I doubted her story then as I doubt it now, the dogs were in the pen and the bucket of solution was against the wall. If the puppies had gotten into the bucket, they would've had to have been running free, and been active enough to jump up and knock over the bucket, those little guys were so tired they weren't going anywhere. If I knew then what I've since learned, the entire visit would have set off alarms, of course at that time I knew nothing about the deadly disease parvo! Within 24 hrs of Nicole bringing the puppy home, he was diagnosed with parvo and various other diseases by her vet, you were informed, and according to law, Kelly should have been shut down and not been allowed to have any puppies in her home for a minimum of 1 year!!! But that's not the case, we have been in touch with several individuals who have unfortunately adopted very sick puppies who ultimately have not lived! So don't stand on your high horse and tout how you offered support to my daughter, remember she was told "that's the hand she was dealt", how sad!!!! Nicole did everything humanly possible, with little sleep, hour by hour, she did everything possible to save that puppy's life....and she did!!! So shame on you, shame on your fosters, if you cared about these poor animals, you would make sure the environment where these puppies were being placed was healthy!!!! read more

My family and I are blessed to have worked with this rescue. I can't say enough good things about them. We had been trying for so long to adopt a puppy and been told no. you have no fence, no you have children. Our children were not only welcome to come to the foster home, but we were asked to bring them along! Our children were able to hold the puppies, and make the decision of which puppy they wanted to bring home. We were there over 2 hours and not once did we feel rushed. The puppy came with insurance, we were sent home with a list of things to watch for. They couldn't have been more helpful or supportive. So happy that they do same day adoptions, especially since we had to drive so far! read more

We adopted our puppy about a month ago in NY. He is a beautiful boxer/shepherd mix and as healthy/happy as can be! We are very pleased with the agency. Out of all of the rescues we applied to they were the quickest to respond and the easiest to work with. Richie was fabulous and helpful in every way! His foster was clean and comfortable, it was very clear to us that the pups are well cared for. I highly recommend the agency on my end!!! read more

I know two people who have adopted dogs from this rescue. Both have been clean and and healthy pooches. I think it's sad that people aren't reading what this place is about. They bring up dogs from the south, from HIGH KILL SHELTERS, so that they have a chance up here and are not put too sleep. They are taken from sometimes deplorable situations, they are doing it right. Instead of making adoption a nightmare they work with you and help you get a dog. They offer free insurance for a month and they help cover expenses in illnesses that may show themselves when the dog is brought home. As they say (even in the contract) These puppies are taken out of really bad situations sometimes illnesses are unavoidable. But if you adopt from them you are saving another dog from a horrible fate. Both foster homes were clean, they didn't smell like feces or urine, I didn't even see any when we arrived there. Both pups smelled good and were free from fleas. Also both fosters were honest, which we really appreciated. Thank-you for all the amazing work you do! Keep at it! read more

I already had a 1 year old boxer mix. We wanted to add a second pup to the family we chose East Coast and had an excellent experience. Everything was explained before we got there, we were not rushed without any pressure. We brought our 1 yr old and the foster mom brought out one puppy at a time to ensure both pups liked each other. Ours was the third one and it was instant. Not only was is a positive and wonderful experience the puppy we adopted is in perfect health. They puppies are very much loved and cared for. Please do not adopt from this rescue. I had several conversations with the foster mom prior to the adoption of our dog and she assured me that the dogs were vet checked and in good health before they were adopted out. I am aware that some things can crop that aren't present at the time of adoption, but this poor puppy that we adopted had a host of issues that were very obvious and could have been easily fixed. Our poor puppy was infested with fleas, tapeworm, hookworm, and malnourished. I found the fleas on the way home from picking her up, the first thing we did when we got home was give her a bath in Dawn dish detergent, after she was done being dried off and the towel was taken off I noticed the DOZENS of tapeworms that were coming out of her and crawling around the towel. I quickly called the foster mom, not to send her back, but to make her aware of the situation. She "seemed" shocked, but there is NO way she didn't know what was going on with this little girl. I then called a after hours vet who had personal experience with this "rescue" and her dog had also been in bad shape. We were able to get our little girl fixed up and she has turned out to be a wonderful loving pup, despite her rough start. This agency is known for adopting out dogs with health issues that are easily fixed before being adopted out, but they just look the other way. There is never any guarantee when it comes to adopting a pet, but most rescues at least make sure the dogs are free of fleas, worms, and at a healthy weight. read more

Our adoption from here has started off to a rough start. I guess I should have seen the red flags when we went to pick up our puppy. We drove 2.5 hours to go and pick one out. The gentleman there that was the foster made the comment " well there are some shady places out there but we aren't one of them.." And "the paperwork says we will call you to check on the puppy, but we won't." I also got the impression that he was keeping the money and it wasn't a non-profit organization like they say. So BEWARE!! Also when we left there were these care bags for each puppy and he never even bothered to give us one. I wonder if he is going to sell all of them on eBay. He also told us that the puppies were all treated for fleas and dewormed and had their first set of shots and gave us his rabies certificate and tag. His tag number doesn't match his certificate number...Well on the way home I noticed he had fleas on him. So I stopped at the store on th way home and picked up flea treatment and worm treatment. When we arrived home I gave him a bath in dawn and noticed he was covered in these scabs all over under his fur. We waited a day or so before treating him to let his body rest. Then we treated him for fleas and dewormed him. And omg the amount of parasites that came out of him!!! There was tapeworms and roundworms!!! For 4 days we battled this!! They dewormed them?!? Sure they are going to say they are stubborn...WHATEVER. So then we took him to the vet because he got lethargic and would eat and started to vomit and all we could imagine was parvo. Well, they told us he had coccidiosis and ghardia. Then they give you insurance, which is great for 30 days which covers anything but préxisting conditions. So then after all that he started to develop this green snot out of his nose. And wouldn't you know it he has kennel cough and when they opened his mouth to look in he has a few rotten teeth!!!! A puppy has rotten teeth!!! That is considered a preexisting condition and the insurance won't cover that!!! So... I'm getting a hold of the better business bureau and letting them know just how this place runs!!! It's sad that they treat animals this way!!! It's a complete nightmare!!! read more
