We went here for a party and it's impressive. The staff was super warm and friendly. Master Tommy was great with the kids even when they needed discipline. I love how professional everyone is. We went for a party only so I cannot talk to the classes etc, but we do go to another TKD in the area which we love. The birthday party was great, kids were entertained both before and after cake and celebrations. We've been training here for about a year and have always had a great experience. These weird times are proving to be no different, as the studio has transitioned to virtual classes for instruction. ECMA has found a way to help folks maintain some semblance of normalcy, while still progressing in their training. Without a doubt better than going to the gym. The instructors are all advanced black belts and work with you to show you proper techniques. They enjoy what they do. A quality instructor has left and now this place is not as good as it used to be. The curriculum followed in the class has become repetitive since he left. Another left after serious accusations. The owner of the school is seldom present - too busy training instructors at other schools or giving motivational speeches all over the country, but seldom present teaching at his own school. When he is around he jumps from one thing to another, making grandiose promises but seldom following through. The school clearly has a shortage of instructors and is relying heavily on high school kids to help teach classes - they are no substitute for trained experienced instructors. This school is just big, but no longer good quality. Look elsewhere where the owner is the main instructor. Stay away from any school that relies on high school kids to do the teaching. read more
