After third attempt to reschedule to come out for following reason, I dismissed the company due to following poor excuses; damaged my wood deck, broken equipment, never bother to confirm or recontact me until days later. Left again. Piled everything up in driveway for days leaving it there!!! Same issue again, following day, I left messages , never replied. Arrived hours after appointment. Then returned next day this time with the technician damaging my deck lumber, splintered the wood rail and blasting a huge divot in the wood! They only thing Mike Cruz was concerned about was traveling and hour to my residence. I had hired East Coast back when Michael was the owner. I was thoroughly impressed. He was detailed and work was flawless. So when I hired them back this year I was disappointed to see the end product. The deck and fence were left spotty at best. For example, part of the railing was washed and the other half looks dirty. So that cannot be the "wood". That is when I learned that the business was sold a couple of years ago. If anyone knows about Michael's new business please let me know. read more

Great communication from the owner, showed as planned, quality of work was good. Plus I love that they're insured in case of worker injury or damage to your home, which is not always the case. Check your homeowners insurance. If you go with non-insured vendors and a worker gets injured on your property, you may be on the hook for their medical care. I asked for a quote from East Coast Powerwashing for dryer vent cleaning and the owner returned an email asking me where the birds nest was and if it was vacant or anyone lived there. First I never said there was a birds nest. She also let me know they clean the vent from the inside of the house. Well yeah that's where the vent starts! I would have loved to use East Coast Powerwashing for their reviews are very good, however I can not seem to get in touch with the office. I had an appt on the books for 2+ weeks and at the last minute it was cancelled because they were not aware they made the appt on Memorial weekend. I have been trying to reach them ever since they canceled the appointment but all I get is their voicemail and no return phone call. I would love to have used East Coast Powerwashing, however due to their inefficiencies this is no longer an option. Just as a warning the YOUNG GIRL, Hannah who answers the phone is rude, condescending and disrespectful. She must be a very unhappy person. Well, my house is definitely clean, and my old raggedy fence looks much better, but unfortunately my roses and red maple are ruined from the chemicals left on them. I chose this company because they advertised that they were eco-friendly and safe for all plants, and that my plants "might look even better afterwards," and I even asked the technician prior to him beginning if my roses would be harmed and he assured me that they absolutely would not. However, all of my roses are now blistered brown and appear to be dying on the vines. My red maple is also blistered. I inquired with the company afterwards what eco-friendly products were used because I smelled bleach for a day and a half only to find out they used a bleach solution. I'm not sure what plants benefit from a bleach treatment, but I can assure you roses do not. I also had to spend a combined 6 hours cleaning the bleach residue off my windows and screens because you could not see through them from the spots and streaks, and after cleaning them once, it rained and washed more bleach onto them from what wasn't rinsed off the house, so I had to clean them again. If they had just been honest with me up front that there was a slight chance of negative impacts to sensitive plants, I could have covered my roses and my maple tree. I would not use this company again based on their misleading advertising and not being totally up front with me. If you do use this company, be sure to cover any plants you don't want harmed. I turned away companies that quoted half the price because they disclosed to me up front that their soft wash included a bleach based product. The only resolution offered was to come by and take a look and rinse again, and they recommended I try rinsing my plants with more water. The damage was done so not sure what they planned to accomplish, plus I would need to clean my windows a third time. I now have two decade old roses that might now die, and I paid a lot of money for it. read more

Returned my emails promptly; provided a very reasonable quote to power wash our 1 year old deck. Stayed in touch daily with regard to scheduling [per weather]. I had a bad grease spot on the deck where my husband had dropped something when he was BBQing, and ECP was able to remove 90% of the spot....the wash was gentle and did not splinter the wood.....I was able to apply a sealant to the deck without having to sand it first.
