Nelly supported that if I didn't want to bleach it then don't bleach me. She pulled out some inspirational photos for me and suggested that I do a full balayage. We agreed on the color (caramel). So the day of my appointment comes, and the whole process took approximately 2.5 hours and I love how it came out. My hair does not feel dry and still looks/feels fairly healthy. Nelly only takes one customer at a time, so I had the whole salon to myself. She's very warm and very easy to talk to. We shared many funny stories on a nice Saturday afternoon. Will definitely recommend Nelly if you're considering a balayage.

She passive aggressively banged the cash register and said " I was helping you for 40 mins, I was making a human mistake". I am intelligent enough to know it's a human mistake nd I wasn't mad to begin with but why was she banging the cash register and shaking her head over such a very simple comment that I wasn't even mad about to begin with? Due to her mistake, we lost the discount. I don't care about some few dollars but the sudden aggression over something so incredibly simple and how nasty she reacted was very uncharacteristic. The staff could certainly improve on their behaviour. Not everyone who just comments is mad. And other people can have bad days too, please don't be so insular.

I am so grateful she was the one to cut bangs for me. I walked out of the salon feeling like a new woman and will definitely be going back for a trim. Prices are expensive but about the same for most salons in Hoboken. Worth it for the overall positive experience though.
