She didn't even wanna explain how it came out to be 300. On the paper it says for a full color it's 125 and up, she washed my hair again when i told her i washed it 30 minutes before arrival. i came early but she didn't show at the correct time. I wanted blonde and told her not platinum but she decided to make it dark blonde, mind you i showed her a picture of what i wanted. i am entirely disappointed. Again i don't see how i paid 300 for this. I am so sad i even cried. i hate it mind you i have to live with this. Don't think anyone should pay that price especially when they don't like the results and i told her that i didn't like the color. Nothing i could do. I showed the stylist, Donna, the picture and explained that I was growing my hair out and eventually wanted this cut but a longer version of it. I stressed that I needed the bangs cut very short (as shown in the picture) and the sides and back to be cut keeping as much length as possible. I wanted the bangs and ends of the sides and back to be spikey, not layered. Her first words to me were, "I like your hair the way it is now without the bangs." I told her that I appreciated the compliment but wanted to return to the former look. As she is cutting the bangs, I kept requesting that she make them shorter and wider across my forehead. At one point she said that she was afraid to cut them too short as they would not lay flat. I told her that, as she can see in the picture, they will lay flat. She was not following the picture at all. Long story short, when I arrived home I had to cut the bangs myself. The most upsetting part was that she LAYERED my hair; cutting off a good 2 inches that I had been purposely growing out. A good stylist should listen to the client and do what they are asking (she even had a picture). I felt as if she totally disregarded what I wanted and did what she wanted. Maybe because I had a coupon she did not want to put the effort in but, in doing what she did, the salon lost a potential client as I will not return there again.

After asking for the price she told me it'll be more than $150+ depending on if I wanted 8 or 10 and I'm old school lol that pricing threw me off because you can get some knotless box braids, literally a full head of braids for around that same price so I was definitely shocked that 8 BASIC CORN ROWS would cost over $150 or even close to $200! Especially since I wasn't asking for stitch braids. She also told me it's because I'm "adding hair and it will be about three hours to complete the service..." which again I've never had someone take THREE HOURS to do 8-10 cornrows, like what? THEN she proceeded to tell me "this isn't Harlem" mind you I'm not even from NYC or NJ so that was lame, and then she hung up the phone on me while I was still speaking. Although the price was high I would have considered keeping my appointment and just paying that unnecessary fee for 8-10 regular cornrows but unfortunately I couldn't because she hung up the phone and pissed me off. VERY TACKY AND UNPROFESSIONAL. She kept hinting at me not being able to afford the price that she is overcharging meanwhile you can be both shocked that something is expensive and still be able to afford it, so that didn't even make sense. She thought she ate with that but whomp whomp it didn't hit over here LOL. So, I called back and 100% called her out of her name because I felt she was disrespectful by saying "this isn't Harlem" and hanging up on a potential client. Then she went out of her way to text me as if she wasn't rude and unprofessional towards me on the phone, LOL. Moral of the story, the owner or whoever answers/makes appointments needs etiquette class or a good pop in the mouth :) You don't get to talk to people however or assume/call them broke because they don't wanna be overcharged for some simple straight back cornrows. Highly recommend finding another salon where the workers know how to keep it cute.

All white, beautiful mirrors everywhere, and I couldn't stop staring at the beautiful chandelier. Its a gorgeous space! The woman who did my hair was named Carrie, and she was so sweet. She offered me coffee/water & did such a great job on my hair. I love it! It looks so healthy and beautiful! I for sure will be coming back and I would def recommend this place. I feel brand new. Everyone is very friendly and treat us like they see us weekly. This trip we were all having blow outs. Laurie did my daughter's hair and asked her what she wanted. My 7 year old was very excited to be involved in the decision making process. Laurie asked if she wanted cute curls or flips. My daughter asked for curls. You could see the excitement as each curl was done. At the end, my daughter's hair looked amazing for our event. My hair was a challenge. Due to some medication, my hair (which was already fine) is rather thin. Laurie worked on making my hair look fuller and I received a lot of compliments. She suggested some ways to make it look a bit fuller for my next hair cut. The salon is very welcoming. They have a cute little table to sit at as you wait for color to be done or just for your appointment. They had fresh bagels (oh how I was excited since good bagels in Florida are non existent!).
