I often order the wraps but today I decided to try something different. I chose the chicken sandwich and it was okay. It wasn't very flavorful on its own. I would recommend adding some sauce to it. Ive been to this location a few times. It is a solid wing/sports bar option if thats what you are looking for. They honor special requests in making the wings if you ask for traditional buffalo they will. Im from Buffalo,NY so I admit being a bit of a wing snob but for NC so far this place has been one of the better options. Wings everywhere are a bit pricey so I wont hold it against them. My main criticism is they add the sauce on the wings when the wings are too hot still and so a lot of it runs off the wing onto tray. The Hostess put it on the books, but someone else set a 20-party, and when we arrived, there were not enough servers. The hostess ended up waiting on us, and let me say Emma Smith (17), who couldn't even bring us our drinks(serving laws), did an excellent job. I stopped by here at 2:30pm on a Sunday afternoon in a party of 4. We were sat promptly. A waitress came over about a minute after we were seated. She, unfortunately, didn't introduce herself, which is a pet peeve of mine. We placed drink orders, mostly water. The food order was placed at 2:42pm. I got the cowboy burger and fries. My son got grilled cheese and fries. The other parties got a cheeseburger kids meal and some wings. Around 2:50pm, I got some sweet tea. It was disgusting!!! Horrible going down and even worse after taste!!!! I got a lemonade instead. It wasn't very sweet but it was a hell of a lot better than the tea! The food came at 3:09pm. The fries were a decent temperature. I wish there were a little more seasoning on them though. My burger could've been hotter, but It was tasty tho! Very thick with two large onion rings! Our cousins wanted to go for dinner and really like East Coast Wings. I've never been, but I love wings. It was definitely different how you order the wings, but kinda cool too. You pick a flavor you want on your wings. Then you look at the hot meter and tell them the amount of heat you want for that flavor. Even though a sauce may be under Fusion and not seem like it would be hot, you can make it hot. I would say the wings are med to small size versus jumbo. Decent amount of meat on them. Sauce flavors were good... garlic parmesan, Mango habanero, and jersey. We got mozzarella sticks, which are fairly big and really good. The marinara that comes with it has a touch of smokey flavor. The service was fantastic! Gabrielle took such good care of us and made sure our water glasses were full. The manager on duty even came over to check on us. There was only 1 other table in the whole restaurant and we had to wait almost 10 min for a hostess to come sit us. We ordered Pepsi's and because they have a bar and it comes out of the fountain hoses the blend is so perfect and makes it go down so easily! Our wings came out crispy, sauced just enough, meaty and tender. We just ordered ten, but if we wanted to leave with our bellies busting fifteen would have done the trick! So glad we didn't get more than we could comfortably consume! God Bless this place....we keep coming back because the food is good, but tonight was something. They had no celery (should I mention there is a grocery store in the parking lot??) but my mom got the wrap (which was cold and had no sauce) and I got the Santa Fe quesadilla . The cheese pieces were whole, it was not melted together. The server was sweet, I know they can't help the situation, but it seems like they could do better. They can't melt cheese now?? Goodness. Came here yesterday for a late lunch, hostess wasn't immediately available to sit us down but that wasn't a big deal. When he came to the front he greeted us with a smile and friendliness. Our server was Krista and she was just the kindest person and had a great personality. We ordered buffalo dip, and 10 wings (mango habanero & kamakazi) wings were hot, dip was fantastic, and the flavors were on point. I'd like to preface this lengthy review by saying that this is atypical of me, to leave a bad review for a place and to ever ask for my meal for free. However, after today's experience, I couldn't help myself. My coworker and I arrived for a late-ish lunch around 2:20-2:30 and were greeted/sat promptly. There was one other table of patrons next to us in the entire restaurant, point being that this series of incidents truly cannot be chalked up to being swamped with customers. Our waitress greeted us quickly and took our drink orders. We took a few minutes to look over the menu and she returned quickly to take our orders. Seamless. The rest of the experience, not so seamless. The couple next to us clearly experienced issues with their order, was spoken to by a manager who offered them a complimentary order of chips while they waited for the corrected order. Once received, it was once again obvious that there were issues with the order. Forgive me if incorrect, but I feel certain that at least a portion, if not all, of their bill was comped. The couple then left, leaving only my coworker and I in the restaurant. We waited and waited for our food for what felt like an hour or so, despite the manager's demand that this was false. The food finally arrived and was completely wrong. We notified the waitress, who indicated that this had occurred multiple times today, and she quickly took off to rectify the situation. At this point, we were already late in returning to our office, so we requested that the food be made to go. No problem. Once the "corrected" order arrived, it was again, incorrect. At this point, after apologizing to the waitress & informing her that I would still tip her, we requested the food to be comped. The waitress completely agreed with us and at which point tracked down the manager. I calmly explained the situation to the manager, who argued vehemently with both of our major complaints. One in regards to the length of time spent at the restaurant, "you have not been an hour and a half, I can tell you that" and another in reference to the incorrect order "that [completely bone dry chicken slider with absolutely no sauce] has sauce on it". She did end up giving us a coupon to discount our bill, but this coupon is one I already had and indicated intent to use, so while I am grateful for some recognition of the issues and attempt to reconciliation, I feel that it was a futile attempt, at best, particularly after the catty manner in which it was offered. Y'all, I love ECW and am a long time customer, and recognize that this seem like a petty, nit-picky review, but I will never, EVER go to this location again, which is quite a shame as the manager explained that she plans to work with upper management to develop a discount for my place of business. The bottom line is: the fact that two, fairly simple orders with very little instructions were completely incorrect TWICE is one thing, and setting aside the fact that our waitress was quite difficult to track down at times, albeit friendly, could potentially be forgiven; but the icing on the cake of the manager unnecessarily arguing with us, two entirely understanding and polite individuals, is far beyond me. Several things about this location need attendance, but until then and possibly beyond that, my coworker, myself and anyone else we recount this to will definitely be taking our business elsewhere. read more

So this is my first Yelp review. Maybe my only. This location is beyond help. I have visited three times. Door dash(ed) once. I am a huge fan of this chain, but this location is horrible. First trip - service was a bit slow but the waitress was friendly and helpful. Second trip - waited 15 minutes before we were ever greeted. Then 20 minutes before we got drinks. Another 35 minutes for mediocre food that was just above room temperature. Third trip - 20 minutes to be greeted. Then no one ever came back to the table. I got up and walked out. Both the manager and my "server" made eye contact with me on the way out and never said a word. Door dash - ordered a 10 piece and 15 piece. Both traditional. Received 10 traditional and 15 boneless. I called the store. The manager said it was the cooks error and that if i bring it back they would fix it. I ordered door dash because i couldn't leave. She explained plainly that if i can't come up there the situation just "is what it is" So i called the next day. Asked to speak with the GM and was asked why i was making this request. The GM wasn't available. Left my name and number and was assured that i would get a call back. That was three days ago. Needless to say my phone hasn't rang. Avoid this place at all costs if you are at the Burlington, NC location. Otherwise i would highly recommend you visit ANY of the others. read more

I had a terrible takeout experience tonight. The food was great. However, our order was missing an entire meal. Things happen though, so I can understand. The problem is that the customer service is lacking. Rather than apologizing and trying to make it right, we were on the phone with the restaurant for ten minutes. It's almost as if they suspected we were not being truthful. They had to find our order in the system, then go talk to the kitchen, all before they could make it right. Phenomenal wings! They have dozens of tasty flavors. I really liked how you choose the flavor and then choose heat index, that way you can choose a flow or you like and not have to worry about it being too hot. Don't be afraid to ash for a taste of anything and don't go to hot on the heat index. If it's not hot enough they will bring a hotter sauce for you. Have to shout out to the amazing staff. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. When we tried the hottest sauce (not for the faint of heart, this stuff is epically spicy), our waitress could tell that I couldn't handle it well. She immediately went to get some toast and even dig up some milk for me so I could continue enjoying my meal. You're a life saver Lindsey.
