I'm not sure where to begin with this review. We hadn't been to a Ruby Tuesday in 25+ years, so we were kind of excited to go here tonight. Issues began pretty much from the get go. We sat and waited forever for our waiter to greet us. By the time he did, he started with an apology, which is never a good sign. Unfortunately, it wasn't his last apology for the night, and things just kept getting worse. I got the NY strip, while my wife got the bourbon glazed chicken..,the regular one that comes with two breasts. We also added the salad bar. We started with the salad. The lettuce in three of four bowls was brown and looked old and decrepit. The spring mix looked ok, so we went with that. After finishing our salad, our main courses came out. My soda was empty, and my wife's was almost empty. Our server's question of, "Is there anything else I can get you?", never should've been asked. Anyway, our entrees come out. My NY strip and my wife's bourbon glazed salmon. Wait. Salmon? She didn't order salmon. We both recognize it as salmon, but our waiter isn't so sure. "Why don't you taste it?", he asks my wife. My wife, who doesn't like salmon or she would've ordered salmon, is a little put out by this request, and I agree. I taste it and confirm it is indeed salmon. Also, it's one piece, while the chicken clearly says it comes with two breasts. "Oh, it comes with one, but you have to ask for two.", our waiter says, which is clearly opposite from how it's worded in the menu. We had planned to split both dishes, so he takes the salmon back, and we start on the steak. It's terrible. What isn't fatty is dry and tasteless. How do they charge $25 for something like this that's so bad? Rice and broccoli were fine, but the steak was bad bad bad. Worse than Michael Jackson ever was. We've completely finished with the steak dish when the chicken finally comes out. While not the best chicken we've ever had, compared to the steak we forced ourselves to eat, the chicken seemed like it had been blessed by God. For the record, the chicken looked NOTHING like the salmon. There is no way the two could've been confused. It's impossible to get our server to pay attention to us. I finally get his attention by flapping my arms. Yes, really. We get our bill, but then he won't come back. Eventually, we're both giving him the death stare, "Yes, I know", he says at one point. "All I want to do is pay my bill.", I say as a reply. To which, he walks off again. He then comes back a little while later and probably wasn't surprised to see that no tip was given. It's been many many years since I've left a restaurant leaving no tip at all. This experience was so bad I feel like they owe me some money just for going in the first place. All our happy memories of good Ruby Tuesday experiences in the past have been ruined by this sad sad excuse for a dining experience that has put me a little closer to my grave. read more

ugh - maybe restaurant service is better. The takeout is usually thrown together and greasy (I've had takeout burgers before). The chicken sandwich was ok - I'm glad I opted for cheese or I would have been highly disappointed. No lettuce, and I had to add my own. Broccoli was way overcooked and no taste. Hey family! It's been a while and hope each of you are well. I popped in the recently renovated Ruby Tuesdays on Thorndike. It looks soooooooo much better inside. It's much more inviting and adequately lit. I'm impressed with the marble countertops. I saw my favorite bartender Josh and he was amazing. The food is still good and they're promoting their happy hour Monday-Sunday from 4-7 and 9-11. They have some very filling $5 appetizers like the spinach artichoke dip, queso and chicken bites. I like coming up here because it's very chill and if you like sports, they have all the tvs on with popular games. Come check them out. They are open now! read more

I'm so sorry I gave them another chance. It was the BOGO that got me but still not worth it. The bun on burger and cheesesteak was soaking wet, the cheesesteak had no cheese, I said no peppers and it had peppers. The bacon looks like it's a month old, the fries taste like they were cooked in 3 week old oil portion was a joke. The cheese on burger looks like it was made in a lab! They need to burn this place down, rebuild a new one & hire staff from California! Better yet, just burn it down. So disappointed, never going there again! read more

Saw an advertised special they have on Mondays and decided to give it a try. Haven't been to a Ruby's in years. Always loved the salad bar. Monday is the endless salad bar accompanying a single patty smash burger with fries or tots for $9.99. That's what we ordered. The salad bar was fresh, clean, and well stocked. The burgers were good but next time I will get the double burger for $2.00 more. The bun was brioche, a plus. Our server was ok. Kind of got lost when we needed silverware. The manager got it for us and all else was fine. It was good food for a good value. We'll be back. Look on the website for daily specials. read more

Saturday evening dining. (And thank goodness I was done before a bus full of guests arrived!) I was promptly greeted and seated. Server was efficient and friendly. I had the chicken parmigiana with a trip to the salad bar. It was more than an ample portion of food. I actually requested a take out box for 1/2 of the chicken parmigiana. It's never too busy at this location. Very clean and the salad bar is always stocked up. The actual food could be fresher as far as the meals go. But the salad bar is the gold area for Ruby's. Sanitation grade is great here as well. read more

One word TYLER! He was the highlight of our visit. Wonderful service, very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and specials. The restaurant was pretty cold, glad I grabbed a couple of hoodies to bring. My kids were freezing. The food was disappointing. The runs gave off a spoiled odor, so I ate around them. I ordered the triple play which comes with a half rack of ribs, shrimp, and tenders. The tenders were old and hard. Which I was pretty sad about because they use to be my go to menu item. I also ordered a margarita and returned it as soon as it came out. It was nasty. My husband also ordered a margarita, his was tasty. The kids food was pretty cold and not fresh. This was totally a waste of money. Glad we had snacks back at our hotel. read more

I had three employees tell me someone would help me soon as I waiting at the host station. It took over 15 minutes to be seated. Even during this time, a guy came in and said this place sucked, but if we just sat down people would still serve us and it was quicker. Once seated, the guy who sat his self and the two groups behind me had their drinks and made their food orders before I saw my server. When she asked what I wanted I ordered my food and drinks to which she said I'd have to wait that she was only getting my water and would be back for my food order. I waited another ten minutes and just left. I spent almost 50 minutes there and never even got a water. Place is a joke and would likely have no business without the hotels and airport nearby. read more

Went on Saturday 28 SEP, in town for WFU football game. Stopped in here for lunch prior to late afternoon game. My wife got the salad bar (for the brown croutons). I got a basic cheeseburger and fries. We both needed some water so we stuck with that. Her two trips to the salad bar had all the standard things she likes. My burger was okay, a little more done than I ordered, but fine, and the fries were decent. Our server Elle was pleasant and effective. She was there when we needed her, and not hovering when we didn't. There were only a few other tables occupied. The decor is basic corporate. Everything looked clean, the restroom was clean and stocked. There were no issues. So why just an "okay"? Why do I always leave Ruby Tuesday, just a bit under satisfied, underwhelmed? I have over the years of being lead into this chain by others (I don't think it has ever been in my top15 of chains places to go). They are always clean, pleasant and have average food offerings. I have never had a negative experience. There is just for me, no there- here. I do think its a bit tough to get value for your money at Ruby Tuesday's, I always feel like I have spent more than I should have for less than I wanted. I have felt that way when money was tighter, and even now that I have relative comfort. Our lunch was $31 with a 20% tip. That was for a basic cheeseburger and a couple salad bars visits, and water. While I am writing this, I realize that I feel the exact same way about Red Robin. Perhaps they are sister organizations, I can't find that anywhere. It's okay, they have some high points. But I have always left with that same feeling...a bit more money for not quite the output I am fully satisfied with. read more

It's been a long time since my last visit here, when coworkers and I used to walk from the office on days when the salad bar was on sale. The same bartender/server, Josh was there and greeted and treated me like an old friend whom he hadn't seen in a long time. Great service and great food, as the salad bar was stocked with the freshest vegetables and other toppings. I'm glad they have the daily offerings back. I was here for lunch yesterday and snagged the smash burger and salad bar. No complaints and usually when I come there's no issues. We were seated promptly and I noticed quite a few tables thar needed cleaning as we headed to ours . We got a nice window seat. On this visit I skipped the amazing salad bar and chose T-bone steak blackened & medium well and my husband ordered the same but requested medium. No baked potatoes were available so we got fries and garlic mashed potato The order was delivered in a reasonable time. The steaks looked perfect. However... they were both overcooked. I was chewing for days seems like lol. The waitress finally returns to ask if we were ok. I was still chewing while telling her they were overcooked. We sent both back to get a do-over. Well these were cooked to the correct temperature BUT the first ones were seasoned better. So we didn't win on this option. The server and manager were nice but we never were offered water refills. I had a coupon code and asked if we could use it with my husband veteran discount but was told no. In exchange for our inconveniences the manager wiped out the entire bill! I love going to Ruby Tuesday for the Tuesday special. They have other specials but the Tuesday burger, blackened fish or chicken sandwich can't be beat. Even during the pandemic they still shine. Seriously! I called in my order and they are super prompt. I am not a fan of tilapia generally but I had to try the blackened fish sandwich because it looked so good. Wow. We arrived exhausted after a long days work. They advertise a salad bar. It's a Friday evening and we had high hopes for a decent meal. We were greeted promptly, seated and approached by Marissa T. How fortunate we were. Marissa was attentive, she rolled with our idiosyncrasies, she anticipated our timing and had us quite content. The kitchen was spot on with our Burger and Nachos, they rocked the salad bar with fresh and clean. When we were done we decided to stick around and reopen our tab since we couldn't think of anywhere more welcoming to hang out. A great Restaurant we will be back when we are in town again. My husband and I wanted to do the salad bar(only, as we've never liked anything else they have). The salad bar USED to be unbeatable! We haven't eaten there in about 4 years. It was awful! The broccoli salad(theirs used to be my fav) tasted stale and wilted(so even if cold on the salad bar...it had sat out not cold for some time before), all the add ons were wonderfully cold...but old and stale tasting..yuck! I hate that I can't remember their names, the hostess was fantastic, and didn't skip a beat when we asked for s different table (really just so our young ones didn't bother other parties). And our waiter (I want to say Derek, Darren?) was an absolute hoot, running the floor like nobody's business. Anyways, who can go wrong with a good salad bar? Well kept. I visited Ruby Tuesday for the first time in years because they are currently offering the Sweet Earth Awesome Burger. I went on a Sunday and sat at the bar. The bartender was very nice, informative and gave good service. I added the salad bar and was pleased with the options available, especially as a vegetarian. The burger itself was mediocre, however, I do not think that's the restaurant's fault. In comparison to the impossible or beyond, it just isn't as good. However, the burger was well cooked and hot. The fries were also hot and crispy. And again, service was excellent. read more

Came by here because it was near the Sheraton hotel I was staying at and I wanted to get my usually fav for years. Ruby turkey burger which use to be a big turkey patty made from scratch and there fries and salad bar buffet. Was very disappointed to find out they no longer have the turkey burger and got their grill chicken sandwich. The chicken was very small and fried were soft and greasy and I was still hungry so I ordered their Steak kabob bowl with added shrimp. The shrimp cost like 7$ or so to add and was very small shrimp and like 4 or pieces for 7 to 8$? The steak kabob and rice was very greasy and I ended up spending like almost 50$ for this? And a confusing butter sauce for a middle eastern style meal was confusing also. No cucumber or Tizikie sauce. They also no longer have the seafood trio I use to get which is fish. Lobster and shrimp so now it's just all steak or chicken or mini shrimp for 8$ separate I m no longer a customer of ruby Tuesday, I only give 2 stars because of the salad bar was fresh read more
