Who knew East Coast Wings had more than just wings! I pass by this location about once a week. I was pleasantly surprised with the options they have. From many variety of wings to salad, tacos, burgers, and sandwiches. I went inside to grab my takeout. A darker but pretty cool looking restaurant (from what I can see). The desk area is just to the left when you walk in. She went to the back and promptly returned with my order. My boys really enjoyed their bacon cheeseburgers with fries. They said they would order them again. Two bacon cheeseburgers with fries totaled $30.01. The one thing I am not a fan of is the way all restaurants (East Coast is not alone by any stretch) have you pay. They spin their screen towards me so I can add a tip. They give suggested tips on the screen but seriously why should I feel as though I have to tip when all they do is grab the food (if not already there) and accept my money. The suggested tip was between $5-6 dollars. Tipping the person who grabs your food should never be the same tip percentage as you would give if you sat down and someone waited on you. read more

This location is pretty consistent. Food comes out as order and the staff is well trained. The menu has a bar food flair and portions are large. They will, however, nickel and dime you on extra sauces. There's plenty of seating for any size group you have. I will say the table seating section's air conditioner is usually set to North Pole deep freeze so bring a sweater. read more

We were seated in a dark booth and no one greeted us. I looked around and the customers in the area were sitting with empty rink glasses. I immediately asked to be moved to the bar and the host and a waitress were standing around talking. The waitress who came to our table was very attentive and quick but her long hair was down. It was far too long not to be pulled up off of her shoulders. Out food came very quickly - and based the taste - the chicken had been reheated. Cajun ranch is just ranch, and the bang bang is no flavorful garlic and pepper is was a bland mild sauce. These wings were an absolute joke, just completely disappointing. My husband said the Caribbean wings were gross and the Maui had an awful taste. He had 1 of each wing and tossed them. $50 down the drain what a waste!! We were in the mood for wings. Headed to this place thinking we'd been here before. Apparently that was the Harrisburg location and we really should have gone there. We were greeted at the door by the hostess who stopped her conversation with a waitress and put on her mask when she saw us walk in. Most of the waitstaff wore a mask below their noses. And same for the staff in and out of the kitchen. Customers walked through the restaurant without a mask countless times. I think the bartender and ONE waitress were the only ones wearing it properly. We both gave our names for our to-go orders and the hostess I am familiar with goes to the back to retrieve them. After a few moments, another individual brings our orders out. Instead of asking our names as she was not the original person, she literally looked at me to hand me a bag as she said "Shareka". Excuse me?! My name is Brooke and has been since I was born. For her to blatantly racially profile me and assume out of the two of us that my name was Shareka and the white female's name was Brooke, completely disrespectful!!! I immediately called to speak with the manager. Robert, the manager, took my information and stated that he would have the owner call me, which I have not heard from this individual. I have never been racially profiled to my face and refuse to continue to patron a company that clearly is okay with this behavior because I should have received a call first thing today from the owner. read more

Great wing joint in Kannapolis! Food specials for the week are Monday's: 75 cent bone in wings, 65 cent boneless wings. Wednesday: kids eat free after 3:30pm. Thursday: 65 cent boneless. Drink Specials: Monday: select domestic pints $3 Tuesday: craft pints $4 Wednesday: select domestic bottles $2.50, strong island tea and max lemonade $5.99. Thursday: craft pints $4, glasses of wine $5. Friday: Flavored Margaritas $6. I was there on a Wednesday night and it was busy but there was no wait for a table. I started out with a small order of the "lava petals." ( deep fried onion petals basically) it comes with a semi-spicy ranch sauce. Also ordered an order of ten traditional wings, hot, with the Cajun garlic sauce with ranch. Came with a side of carrots and celery. The wings were amazing. The last time I was here I had the kamikaze wings extra-hot. So far I have no complaints at all and plan on coming back to try more flavors when I'm in the area. I like that you can choose any flavor and then pick how spicy you want it. It's a little different than other wings joints in that regard. I came back for Monday night wing night. 75 cent bone in wings. Ordered the "lava petals" again which were good when I ate them with traditional ranch dressing. I ordered 5 of the kamikaze wings which were amazing and 5 if the new Thai satay wings. They were terrible. They have no flavor and no spice at all even though I ordered them hot. Service wasn't as good this time. The food came out quickly however, it took a while to get my check at the end and I never even got my water refilled. They only gave me one napkin and we all know that's never enough when you're eating wings. Waitress never came back to the table for me to ask for more. I will say that I don't think the wing night deal is that great because the wings are 75 cents a piece but they charge you a dollar to add sauce to them. Then another 65 cents for a side of ranch dressing. It all adds up. I'll come back again but no need to come in for the wing deal since it's not that great. Food was good as normal, but the service at this location is terrible. They are always short handed and it took us 30 minutes to get our check after asking. During that time I walked up to the hostess to see if we could pay her since we couldn't find our waitress, she was very rude and snapped at us and said you have to pay your waitress, which I replied well then find her or your not going to get paid at all!! We went back to STAND beside our table to wait and she finally showed up, but she walked past us to go wait on a table of young men and BS with them before acknowledging us!! This makes the 2nd time we gave this location a chance and both times they have been rude and disorganized! We won't be back ever again!!! read more

She said " yes sir , $0.65 per wing , bone in or bone out" . So I order 20 . I get there and to my surprise they charged me $1 for sauce per 10 wings , $0.75 per cup of ranch and $0.75 for celery. It was $20 for what I was expecting to be $13+Tx . Mind you , if you order off the regular menu they don't nickel and dime you like that .
