I had the best massage of my life by Carl! The in home massage was so wonderful! He was able to work out tension and knots that I didn't even recognize I had, but felt immediate relief once he hit those muscles and tendons. I couldn't recommend him more. Carl and his assistant were awesome! One of the best massages my husband and I have had and they come to you! So convenient, professional and exactly what we needed. They arrived a little early, set up in our living room and brought relaxing music and heating blankets on the beds with soft blankets. I had been sick for a week and had a really painful frozen shoulder. I was in Charleston on business with my husband and was miserable. Nothing was helping my pain. I found Carl on Yelp and his reviews were great. He was able to fit me in the same day. I did a 2-hour massage and he did a very deep tissue massage to break up the knots. At the last minute, I decided to get a massage from Carl. I was in agony. Day 3 of a migraine/sinus headache and shoulder freeze on my left side. My sciatica felt like knitting needles poking in to my backside and I think I pulled a muscle or something in the groin area...all in all, I was in bad shape. Carl addressed my issues and then some. Thank you yelpers! If it weren't for your reviews, my friends and I wouldn't have had a great experience with Carl! He not only gives the best massages, but does NOT talk to you unless of course you ask him a question or tell him where you need him to massage you most, etc. Don't you hate masseuses that can't zip it? Aren't we suppose to relax when we're getting a massage? Anyway, we hired Carl from 9:30 - 4:30 (7 gals total) when we rented a house on Kiawah Island - what a great way to enjoy the day - pool/hot tub/cocktails and not to have to worry about driving plus a heck of a lot LESS than the Sanctuary Spa! I highly recommend hiring Carl if you're in the Charleston area, and I hope my friend will be lucky enough to hire him when she and her family are in the area in the next couple of months as I've already recommended Carl to her.
