This place is heaven. I've been to a lot of spas and this one takes the cake. The service is immaculate. From the moment you walk in you feel welcome. They gave us a little goodie bag because it was our first time. When I had booked the massages I had mentioned that it was my birthday - they went above and beyond and brought me champagne, chocolates, and a warm neck wrap! It was lovely! Our massages were amazing. They really tailored the massage to what your body needed- spent extra time on knots, aromatherapy, hot towels, etc. I felt like this was worth the price. The ambiance is relaxing & cozy & everything you'd want from a spa, including a mimosa bar on the weekends! My service was very relaxing (I got a facial). The bed was heated, lights were dim, and overall the service was gentle & calming. I would've liked to have been given an explanation of each step that the service entailed -- for my own knowledge & because the extractions startled me and I wish I would've had a heads up. Overall I enjoyed it though, and would book again with a better idea of what to expect now. There was also an issue with them refunding my deposit so I could use the gift card I had. I was told I'd have to wait several days for a manager to refund me. I can't say much about this place because I've only been in to shop their products. My cousin is an repeat customer of their spa services and speaks very highly of them. I recently went in to do some holiday shopping with a friend and we lucked up on a great sale. They have facial items, make-up, candles, clothing and more. The store was well organized and very calming with the scents they used, providing such a relaxing experience while we shopped. I ended up buying a candle (Hazelnut Torrone) and a journal to utilize on my selfcare journey. The candle, with scents of vanilla, hazelnut and honey, had my whole house smelling yummy and had me and my sons craving something sweet. It smelled like I was baking and the scent expanded throughout the entire house. The service here was wonderful! We had booked morning appointments and had quick check in and service to the relaxation room. My only complaint was it was a day for my mom and I and they constantly put us in separate rooms where we were left waiting for one another. Separate rooms would not be an issue if we had not ordered a duel room and the small finger food tray to enjoy together after our services. I'm so glad I finally had a chance to check out this Woodhouse Spa. I already look forward to my next experience. The crew helps set you up with a locker and spa shoes and some robes where you can change to the level of your comfort. After you're settled in there's a "quiet room" where your esthetician / massage therapist / person will call you. During that time I enjoyed a nice cuppa tea brewed at the perfect temperature! They offer wine, coffee, mimosas, water as well. I had a 50 minute Swedish massage and loved how I melted like a puddle - I was so much at ease I felt dazed and confused lol I liked the quiet rooms where one could read, enjoy some complimentary drinks, and feel cozy in the plush robes. 10/10 I'm actually in the lounge post-massage, currently sipping a glass of wine my masseuse offered me. This is a lovely experience and i cannot recommend it enough. I was greeted warmly, and was shown to the locker room- robes and sandals provided, as well as code-locked lockers. I waited in the lounge with water and mimosas for only a few minutes before Drew got me. His deep tissue massage was spectacular! My husband and I were on our honeymoon and wanted to end our trip with a luxury spa massage. They were aware we were on our honeymoon and rather not accommodating which is surprising to me Considering how expensive this spa is for a service. First, when checking out they told us they were unable to use the $210.00 deposit that I paid toward the total bill. This was a posted transaction on my account not pending. She stated she would refund it but could not do it right then and would have to wait until tomorrow. Second, I tried to get a vitamin c mask on my face during my Massage and they also told me no, only if I was getting a facial. Weird they wouldn't take the upsale. Third, I loved the yoga balm that the therapist used at the end of my massage I wanted to purchase. She couldn't find it and said since it was behind the curtain she couldn't grab it and come back in two days.... We are on vacation leaving tomorrow and live in California. Since she tried for two seconds to find it I asked her if she could just send me home with a sample of it and she stated no. Also to add, I remember getting an email when i booked that we would get a free enhancement due to first time. I couldn't find the email after searching and her response was " oh yeah we have that on a promo with a code" she could have honored this as I clearly knew it was an accommodation. My husband and I massages were great but the customer service and lack of accommodation when you are spending over 500 dollars is a bit disappointing. I have friends coming here in three days and had them book here but will be telling them to go somewhere else and cancel their appointments. I have heard so many good things about this spa that I wanted to book it for when my sister was in town. I booked our spa day on our mother's one year of passing from covid. Needless to say, it was a special day for my sister and I and it sucks it ended the way it did at this spa. Overall our services were okay but we were constantly reminded about the limited time we had during each service and it made it kind of stressful. Our facials were good. My sisters esthetician was a lot friendlier and personable than mine. Although my facial was great, I felt really Uncomfortable because it seemed like she was in a bad mood. We then proceeded with a little break and had a charcuterie board and mimosas waiting for us. That was probably the only best part about this experience for me. Massage was good and both therapist were nice but my sisters massage therapist made a comment about my sisters tattoos. My sister had asked for lighter pressure and her therapist said "oh I'm sorry, you're tattoo is so intimidating I thought the pressure would be fine" (she has a full back tattoo) we laughed it off at the time but now that we think about it, it was kind of offensive and from other massage therapist friends, mentioning your clients tattoos is not professional. We then had our pedicures which really Kind of ruined our whole experience. We wanted gel polish and was told we don't have enough time. There was a sign in the room that said to keep conversations to a minimum... which I was so confused about. It was a private room for my sister and I and we weren't allowed to converse? The pedicure was so basic we didn't even get a massage. An average nail salon could have done everything including a gel polish in 50mins! We said something to a staff member and she was apologetic and said she would talk to a manager. No one else came to talk to us. Also, they watched us on the cameras when we were in the lounge area which was creepy. My sister wanted to take the polish off her toes and she accidentally dropped the nail polish remover on the floor.. two seconds later someone came in with towels to clean it up.. just weird that they were watching us. When I went to check out the lady at the desk was very Rude and didn't even ask how our service was. She pretty much asked how I was paying and if I wanted to leave a tip. She did say that the $25 cheese board was free but honestly, I would have much rather a manager come out and talk to us and apologize. I felt like they treated my sister and I differently because of our tattoos and didn't really care to give us good service. Needless to say, if you're looking to relax and get treated like an important customer, don't bother coming to this place. Save your money. My husband booked a 80 min massage here for me, for my birthday. This was hands down the best massage I have ever had. I used to go to Massage Envy once a month and tried several of the therapists there, I didn't have any complaints but I have never felt better then I did after walking out of here. I carry all my tension in my shoulders and it seems no matter what I do the knots don't go away, now they weren't totally gone but pretty close. The spa itself is gorgeous inside. The quite room is so peaceful, I hustled wanted to take a nap by the fire, I could stay in there all day. The locker room is really nice, lots of fun products for you to sample. I was able to get a same day appointment for a 50 minute massage here. The location is really easy to get to and the staff was very welcoming when I walked in the door. There's a very quiet and peaceful ambience inside. There's a cute little store where you can buy different types of gifts or items for yourself when you walk in. I was escorted to the locker rooms by the receptionist. I was given complimentary shoes and a really comfy robe to wear while waiting for my appointment. There are two different rooms where you can sit and wait and both had snacks and water. One of them also had a Mamosa bar which was very nice before my service. So disappointed! Booked 4 appointments total for my husband and I 3 weeks ago. Got a call the morning of to say 1 was being canceled. There was no effort to fix this. I told my husband I'd take the canceled spot and just wait since it is his birthday, but he refused since there was absolutely nothing being done to suggest the spa was working on a solution. Things happen, however the last time I went with a friend she was unable to take her appointment due to a bout with Vertigo. The therapist tried to accommodate her but she was very ill. When I called to cancel, I was told I would be charged the full amount since I was not canceling within a 24 hour window. Ridiculous! Can someone give me a hallelujah! Gorgeous spa, seriously special pampering touches, sweet staff, quality products. My only regret was that I didn't book more services. I had an eyebrow wax, the signature mani and a hot stone pedi. Fabulous treatments all enjoyed while sipping a mimosa. Afterwards I sat in one of the waiting rooms. I covered with a blanket, sipped cucumber water and let my toes fully dry. Ahhhh. I wanna go back tomorrow. Note: I was really happy to learn that there are several Woodhouse Spas around the country and that there is one near Columbus Ohio where I'm from. This made my day! Went for a 50 minute massage. Unfortunately, the massage was not enjoyable. It was more of a rub down even though I asked for more pressure. The Masseus had callus's on his hands so the massage was uncomfortable, not the end of the world but it was more scratchy than enjoyable. I mentioned the callus's in a nice way to Sydney at the front desk and she was very rude to me in response. She had a terrible attitude and said "Well I will not have you shame someone for a condition they can't do anything about". I'm definitely not shaming him but it affected the enjoyment of the service which I would think they would appreciate knowing to avoid customers just not returning for the same reason. Anyone with good customer service would have just apologized for my experience and offered a different Masseus for my next visit. It's incredible how the attitude of the front desk staff can make someone never want to return to a business yet it seems this is a recurring problem at this location based on the reviews. I now don't want to go back to use the rest of my gift card because I don't want to have to speak to the rude front desk staff. A spa is supposed to be relaxing and inviting, not stressful. Hoping management can refund my husband for the balance of the card so I can go elsewhere for my facial. read more

To echo another reviewer in regards to COVID. These protocols are not actually followed by staff. For anyone receiving a facial you have to take off your mask so you hope the person providing the facial will have a level of care and respect to maintain proper mask wearing and hygiene at all times. Unfortunately, this does not happen. I want to still get treatments but not if those I am in the care of do not care for me. Please follow proper protocols when working with clients. read more

For the past few years, I have gone to Woodhouse as a special splurge for myself when I really needed some relaxation and pampering. This is definitely not something I can afford to do too often, which has always made it that much more special. I'm so sad to say that my last visit was such a let down. Something felt off when I came in, instead of the peaceful serene environment I've grown to know and love, the lobby and relaxation area was pretty loud. Sitting in the relaxation room was loud - I could clearly hear every single person that came in and was getting their little tour which seemed unnecessary. Not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things, just different than what I'd expereinced before. My services for the day were a 110 minute massage and a facial. My massage was...bad. I don't know how to describe it other than a 110 minute oily rub down. Upon meeting my masseuse, I told him that I prefer deep/heavy pressure and that I would let him know if it was too much. I asked 5 times during the massage for him to use more pressure...and it never happened. After 5 times, I just gave up. I left the massage room not feeling relaxed, just feeling VERY oily and honestly a little gross. My facial was next, which overall was good - the 10 minutes of massage that I got as part of that facial was better than anything I got on the massage table, however I did have one complaint. After I was undressed, on the table, and she was already performing the facial, she suggested an upsale that I didn't really understand so I agreed to it - I assumed anything once we had already gotten started was part of what I had requested. I was very surprised to learn that I was charged $50 more for something I did not even know what it was, nor would I have agreed to that if she had explained the cost or asked/advised of it up front. Overall, this was an incredibly expensive afternoon which I normally am OK with as a special endulgence, but this was...not it. I will be looking elsewhere going forward. read more

My husband and I spent the first day of our honeymoon in Charleston at this lovely spa. We thoroughly enjoyed the Woodhouse Experience! Five hours of professional pampering, mimosa after mimosa, a lovely light lunch provided for two, and a beautiful private relaxation room. The professionals here are exactly that- they want to ensure you are taken care of. I received the absolute beat facial of my life here which is saying a lot for my 48 year old face ;-) The facility is beautiful and all were also kind and frequently checked on us between services. My only complaint is when leaving I needed to have change made as we had 8 people to leave tips for. My young woman I asked to make change appeared irritated that I needed to do so. She had quite the attitude which was not appreciated after spending quite a bit of money at this spa. Good way to wreck a much needed day of relaxing after putting on a twice changed-covid wedding and reception. Other than that it is a great place, with superior therapists, and we loved the Woodhouse experience. Just make sure you have all the correct change for tipping. read more

My sister and I went for a special Galentine's day massage special. I was immediately impressed by the clean facilities and plush bathrooms. The lounge area had trail mix as snacks and they offered mimosas for the special event. I thought my massage was very relaxing but very light for my liking. I requested more pressure a couple times but didn't believe it impacted the pressure. My sister found her massage to be much deeper, so it must vary greatly by masseuse as we listed the same pressure on the forms. I am docking the star because I found the check out situation to be a little odd. My sister and I checked out with different people (mine was with the general manager and hers was with another employee). Since my bill was $10 more for the same service, I inquired. Instead of simply explaining the difference, the general manager asked for my sister's card to charge her an extra $10 due to an error on their part.
