I called and asked the desk clerk for a copy of my 1-year old prescription: Her response: "Your prescription is expired." My response: "It is NY state law that I am entitled to a copy of my prescription, I use it for my own medical records to chart changes in my vision, you are required to give me a copy." Her response: "We will have to write expired on it" My response: "You can write whatever you like on it, as long as the prescription is legible, you know, the prescription THAT I PAID FOR!" Before seeing the surgeon who did the operation, the technicians check eye functions and dilate the pupil. Everyone is so pleasant and at the same time professional. Late afternoon I received a phone call to ask how I'm doing. Monday I called because I noticed something floating in my field of vision in the right eye. I was a little concerned. They told me to come in as soon as possible and they will have the surgeon check it. I really didn't expect to be able to see him so soon. The Doctor was very reassuring. Everything was healing as it should and he would see me at the end of the week for my scheduled follow up. The front office takes care of billing the insurance.

To give you an idea of the type of person she is, when I had LASIK many years ago, all I was required to do was to get to her office - she drove me to the vision correction center in Manhattan, because at the time it was the closest and best.
