Heather was my initial experience at Luxe. She helped me navigate the different lenses they offer and explained in detail how each one would provide a slightly different view. I get a call from my pharmacy saying they got the scripts, buuut the one I actually need the DR has to authorize it bc my ins wouldn't allow it to be filled without it! So here it is Monday the next week and I've been calling the office since Thursday at 3pm! When I call the office to speak to the front desk they tell me to call the tech that does this, so I do! Guess what? No answer! Been calling her since Thursday last week! Called all day Friday! No response! Called Monday, no response! I'm HIGHLY FRUSTRATED AND WANT MY MEDICATION! Dr. Powell adroitly fitted me with a scleral lens. Today I can see 20-25 (and 2 letters on the 20-20 line), almost perfect with my left eye! Moreover, Dr. Powell treated me with kindness, compassion and professionalism. She took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. I always felt at ease when in her care. She also has a good sense of humor. It's because of Dr. Powell that I have my vision back; needless to say I am eternally grateful to her. Since then, Heather of Sterling Optical notified me she had the bushings needed to fix my eyeglasses. She personally took the trouble to get the bushings from another Sterling Optical outlet. She arranged a time for me to meet with a technician named Robert who politely repaired my glasses, putting them in perfect order. All is now well. Newburgh Sterling Optical rocks !
