    Bingo game sessions

Place was clean and smoke free, I was able to relax, enjoy myself and keep my lungs healthy. It would've been nice to have won, but overall experience was good. I would return to this location. The pacing for calling and pictures of how to play the game was helpful. The staff was friendly and accomdatiing to explaining how things go.

Our set up! Ordered daubers from Amazon.

Sunday Nite Bingo. The bingo hall is extremely clean & the staff is helpful and friendly. First time was great thanks to the helpful group next to us. Snack bar is inexpensive and tasty. Closes at the start of 2nd session. Cash only and I would recommend to lower your denomination of bills so you are quick to pay at your seat and focus at the same time you are playing. Pull tabs were fun & $1 ea. Definitely recommend and will be returning soon! Great date night!

What a fun time at Plano Bingo! I had no idea so many people played. Large open room with plenty of seating. They do multiple rounds of games here, one at 730 and one at 930 i believe. They even have food! The menu was more extensive than i would have thought for bingo. It was way more than i was expecting. Now if it's good, that i do not know. I did get to have the Frito Pie though. It's a guilty please of mine. And it was everything i could have asked for in a frito pie lol portion was huge and i could not finish before it got soggy. But anyway i would love to come back here for some bingo and to check out some more food

    Bingo night!

Small theatre (80+ seating I guess) so you sit up close and personal to the actors. Minimum scenery and props so depend on acting and your imagination to enjoy the show. Plenty of parking to rear of theatre (west side). Check out the 2023 season as we are sure to go back for another helping.

I watched a play called Black Comedy tonight at Cox Playhouse in Plano presented by Rover…read moreDramawerks. It was pretty unique experience. I used to love checking out the plays back in college. Mainly because they were free with my student ID but also because it's live. No editing, no takes, no do-overs.. everything is live. This particular play took it one step further. The seating arrangement was basically within breathing room of the actors and actresses all around the "stage". It's really just one room and everyone's on stage. Hard to explain. Check out the play if you can. I think it's playing entire month. So what makes this venue or experience 4 stars for me is this. After the play, they served refreshments (including wine) and the cast comes out to mingle and chat with the patrons. I didn't stay too long afterwards but I got to talk to one of the actors and he's just a regular Joe working on this in his precious spare time. Of all the plays I've been to, I've never experienced this before. Good venue. I will gladly continue supporting this theater. Quick note about the play itself. Very interesting. I'm not going to give much away as you can probably read synopsis of the play online anyway. But it might not be for all ages. I would say don't bring your kids which I noticed some patrons brought children. The actresses are a bit scantily clad but it's entirely appropriate to the theme of the play though. Update: Originally I gave it 5 stars. Since the review is for the theater room itself and not the play, I felt that I couldn't do the review justice if I didn't mention this part as it pertains to the theater itself. So I have bumped it down to 4 stars but obviously I still had a good experience despite my seating location. The seating matters. It's true that the stage is pretty much the room but there is a raised area of the stage that the actors and actresses will also use during the performance. If you sit too close to this area, then your view is blocked and cannot see what's going on up there. It's general admission so good thing is you can go early and grab a good seat but just be aware of the limitation I mentioned.

He would mark her computer with a flag. They allow one player, Lisa, to reserve all 12 of the stationaries left of the caller's stand. (Supposedly there is a limit of 3 per person.) On 2 occasions I brought it to the attention of a worker who totally ignored it. I heard thru the grapevine that she plays those computers for the workers. After today I totally believe it to be true. I came early and reserved 6 stationaries. I don't play 6 but did it so that that person would not be able to reserve all of them. I came back to find that my daubers had been removed because someone told them I reserved 6. Hmmm, that's suspect. Had a conversation with the worker who removed my daubers (Jackie) who flat out lied claiming they do not allow Lisa to reserve several stationaries. I was there last week and she was playing 5 and gave 1 to another person so she had reserved at least 6. LIAR!!! Another observation, some regular players have 2 cards that are stamped for a free session. I've seen them get one stamped 1st session and another 2nd session. These workers know just about everyone in there so I find it hard to believe they don't know they are getting double stamps on a single visit. Yet another observation, when you purchase a ticket to play a handheld you then go to the rack and get your computer, so tell me why one player has a handheld ready for him with ticket already attached at the counter where you pay when he gets there...and he wins the big ones a lot? Again, suspect! Noticed that the charities of the day, on most days, belong to workers. Probably legitimate charities. "A portion of all fees goes to local charities". And didn't I see Larry on TV a few years ago about illegal game rooms? I played here for years because it was close to work and I could dash by on lunch break. Continued to play cuz I knew lot of people there, but think I'll move on around to Strike it Rich. Stay woke people. Look around and observe!!

We recently saw Project Hail Mary here on a Tuesday night. My husband bought the tickets in advance on Fandango so he could reserve our seats. He said it was surprisingly cheap, and my husband NEVER says that! LOL! The strip mall has a lot of parking, so you are bound to find something close. Check-in is just inside the door. The different screening rooms wrap around the hall. The aisles are wide so that you and a server can get through without bumping into the recliner chairs. The chairs are decently comfortable, but the middle seats get used a bit more than others, so you might notice that they aren't as supportive nowadays. There is a swing table with a QR code to access the menu. WiFi is free. ADH is really strict about phone use during movies and with unnecessary talking. They will not hesitate to boot you, but they have softened their stance a bit now that the menus are accessible by phone. I ordered everything online. The process was super easy to add drinks and food. I didn't like having to pull out my credit card and try to enter that in the dark. I really wish they had offered payments through PayPal and Apple Pay. We had margaritas, bottomless popcorn, and a pizza, but NO NAPKINS! My popcorn was given to the guy next to me, but he was nice and said, "This must be yours.". I handed it to my husband. The servers cane and went several times bringing food and drinks to various people. The movie started and still no pizza. I was not happy about this. We got there early so I wouldn't have to eat in the dark. It finally arrived, but I was not impressed. I ordered the Margherita. It was soggy, so the crust didn't hold the ingredients. I had to fold each slice NY style to prevent myself from wearing it. The mozzarella rounds on top were not really melted. They were still thick circle slices. I would not order this again. The popcorn was good, but I wasn't sure how to get seconds for our bottomless order. The QR code did have something that said seconds, but I didn't dare turn on my phone to put in a request during the film for fear of being booted. Maybe next time I will just get a standard popcorn. It's cheaper. Film was loud! Too loud for my hubby. He had his fingers in his ears the entire time. I was okay with it, but you definitely wouldn't want to make a habit of coming to see films here and risk your hearing longterm. ADH has some fun old films that they show each month. These special events often include props related to the film. It looks like fun. We will have to check it out eventually. We usually come here for new screenings that aren't available on streaming yet. They also have a monthly membership that allows you to see multiple films each month without the hassle of paying each time. That's a great idea for the movie aficionado or someone who likes to go out regularly. I do love the movie experience and try to support this local film house whenever I get a chance.
