I frequent Galaxy more than other theaters due to proximity but I genuinely do enjoy coming here. Galaxy is located in bustling Grandscape right next to the ferris wheel. The times I visit, the theaters are clean and customer service is good. I always buy my tickets online which is a seamless process. I can't comment on the food cause I've never had it but no complaints other than the price on the concession snacks. Been a while since we went to a movie. Glad we chose this theater. There is lots of parking around it, the parking garage behind it is easy to get in and out. They have kiosks at the entrance we already had our qr code so went right to the check in. Theater was clean and lounge chairs worked great. Sound and picture was clear. We didn't buy any concessions or drinks at their bar but looked like both were busy. Know we'll come back again soon. read more

So first time going here , however everything that glitters is not gold lol . The service was super nice however we waited in line for a long time for snacks , and missed the previews and a little beginning of our movies , also I know we are in the colony so it is expected for the prices to be hacked but dannnng 35 dollars for a burger combo meal is crazy lol . It's been a long time since we've been to a movie theater, but when the wifey wants to go out to see a motion picture on our anniversary, we'll go to the Galaxy Theater. The nearby parking garage provided is with covered parking, so our car wasn't at dark roasting temperature when we returned. Sweet. The theater wasn't busy on a weekday in the early afternoon. The girl at the counter was very helpful in selecting our perfectly located seats. The fellow who was working there added his confirmation. My wife had a couple of granola bars and we passed on getting cokes, since this was a nearly 3 hour movie (for obvious reasons). The theater was spotless and our reclining lounge chairs worked perfectly, providing a great view of the huge screen. An ad came on, with Liam Neeson encouraging us to go out and get some buttered popcorn. He said if we wanted it for free, we could find some on the floor (lol). But, there wasn't any on the floor! I should dock them a star on this rating but I'll let it slide. The movie was plenty exciting, with no problems. Since it was a digital display, the image quality was excellent. And, when the movie ended, a cleaning crew was ready to pick up after the patrons who didn't take their trash with them when the left. I went to see Wake Up Dead Man during its short two-week run, and overall the experience was perfectly okay -- nothing terrible, nothing memorable. The theater itself is clean enough and in a fun area, but it doesn't really offer anything that sets it apart from all the other options nearby. The seats recline, which is nice, but they're pretty narrow and packed close together. No seat warmers or anything extra to make it feel a bit more premium. For the price point, I expected a little more comfort. Speaking of price... concessions were wild. The quality definitely didn't match what they're charging. It's hard to enjoy your popcorn when you know you basically paid rent for it. Nothing about the visit was awful -- it just didn't feel worth the cost compared to other theaters in the area. My main reason for going was because it was one of the few theaters playing Wake Up Dead Man. I'd go back if I needed to, but it wouldn't be my first choice. read more

Overall pretty good experiences at Galaxy Theatres! I've come here a couple of different times and the staff are nice and the theatres were clean with comfortable seats. The only annoying thing with this theatre is that the system to login to your account at the kiosks is a little buggy and sometimes doesn't find your account or takes a long time to do so. This was the first time going to this theater. I am impressed. The seats actually recline and when you think you are all the way back it will go even further back. You can get food delivered to your seats. The aisle ways between seats are really wide. Like three times wider than Cinemark. Which may seem like no big deal but when your legs are long and every time someone walks in front at Cinemark I have to pull them back in is so annoying. This theater is not set up folks that might have mobility issues. The walk from parking is far and there is no way to drop someone off close to the entrance. Also, what Einstein thought putting the handicap parking out in the middle of the parking lot thought that was a good idea. Handicap parking is not near any of the retail. read more

This rating is solely based off as a theatre and not the food. This place is a nice place to watch a movie. I wouldn't recommend ordering the food however. It's not good especially being so pricey. So the theatre itself is a (4/5). It's very clean inside and the entrance has a bright open feel to it. The seats aren't bad since you can recline backwards. Food rating: (2/5). The popcorn & nachos had a slightly stale taste. The side of fries were was very expensive for the tiny serving given. I understand that inflation makes it hard, but at least if you're charging so much, please have better quality of food. read more

Came here for the Amazon special premiere of Wicked and it was a pleasant experience. They had enough workers working the concession stand where the line moved quickly bc you don't order food from your seat but at the counter, and they'll deliver food items to you (not the popcorn). Speaking of, the big family popcorn is a steal and impressive in size, plus a free refill? That was awesome. We did not upgrade to the fanciest seats, but luxury lounger was still pretty nice. It reclined and I was comfortable for the long movie. The facility was clean. Plenty of parking close by & it's lit well at night. This theater could be amazing, but I missed 15 min of the movie while waiting in line for over 40 min to get drinks for the family. This could be a great, comfortable and top of the line place if it was properly managed. If you're just looking for a place to watch a movie, this place would be okay. The power reclining seats are very comfortable and, except the very front row, almost every seat in our small little theater was a good seat,. But, if you want to enjoy a meal or snack while you watch your movie, skip this place. My wife and I ordered the chicken finger combo with waffle fries and a large pretzel. The chicken tenders were the worse we've ever tried to eat. And so was the large pretzel. We couldn't finish any of it except for the waffle fries. We love soft pretzels. It had to be bad if we refused to eat it. It was served cold and soggy. For the prices they charged, one would expect edible food. So disappointing. read more

We come here all the time especially for the kids special summer $2 features. This last Tuesday, brought my daughter and nephew, as I was paying, nephew didn't feel well and threw up right there on counter and floor. I felt so embarrassed and bad, tried to help but all the staff told me, don't worry. They will take care of it. And so the half hour cleaning starts (yes I timed it), the MOD , he looks Asian I think his name tag says BAN, or BAO, some 3 letters name...he was cleaning so diligently, I was impressed with his determination to detail, cleanliness and not "ordering" other staff to clean the mess. Even before this awful incident we frequent there and now knows why every time we go it's impeccably clean, from the chairs in the theatre to the restrooms....again kudos to the team and a special mention to the MOD 6/25/2024. read more

Was super exited to get back to the movie theater as I personally haven't went since the pandemic started! I chose this movie theater because it's really close to my house and it looked nice enough to enjoy my first movie back. Unfortunately the theatre was a little dirty and the staff wasn't very attentive as far as at the ticket booth. It sucked also because we got tickets for the sony experience theater but our movie was moved to a smaller theater. Me and my partner wanted to try out the loveseat and although there are nice and big they aren't that comfortable overall. I kept sliding in it. I'll probably stick to my dine in theaters still. Missed being able to order and eat some great food during the movie! I wasn't too impressed with this location though.. Black widow however was enjoyable and I'm glad I got to see it on my birthday! read more

This place is truly GRAND, most comfy seats at any movie theater that I've been to! No real complaints, this is your standard movie theater. It is abnormally cold in the theater itself so be prepared to layer up! The popcorn here was kind of mid - something about the butter they used is different but it wasn't a huge deal. Worst concessions staff ever. Waited 20 minutes for a drink at the bar and bailed as to not miss the end of my movie. 2 guys with zero attention and all over the place. Line of at least 10. The one guy says he only works the left side of the bar. The other guy just disappears. No one at customer service. Popcorn all over the floor. It's Thanksgiving week for crying out loud! And a projector broke so the entire theater came out to the lobby with no manager in sight. Stay home or go to a Cinemark. Not necessarily blaming the front staff. Management is at fault. read more

I found my new favorite theater. We went on a weekday and we had the whole theater to ourselves. The customer service was excellent and the staff including the Manager was so friendly. So far not impressed. 15 minutes here and the ticket printer isn't working, have to find a human and then wait for them to figure out how to print the tickets. "Bartender" on duty was merely a body and had to ask via headset how to make the drink I requested( Long z island ice tea- a common bar drink). I opted to not go that root as it seemed like that was a huge no. Went with vodka/tonic. Got a yellow/brown drink. Ugh had those remade and helped her find tonic. Here to see Antman with the hubby. UPDATE to include I left the movie twice to return to the bar for more cocktails. Waited a few minutes each time, no staff around. Concession had a few people in line but they were too busy to notice anyone at the bar. Left both times without additional drinks as I didn't want to miss more of the movie. Appreciate the acknowledgement below from management. Understand the staffing issues and controls that you face day to day, but wished there had been a BAR CLOSED sign on the bar. Might have been better to know ahead of time to make the decision to go elsewhere for drinks. read more

Movies here are great because it is almost never crowded Popcorn, drinks, and candy are good, BUT do not order anything that has to be cooked. It takes a minimum of 20 minutes for anything. A freakin Pretzel..: I'm currently waiting for one and it is going on 22 minutes. It's crazy! And we see it every time we come here. I would have LOVED to give this amazing concept of a theater a better review. The couches were my favorite part but I think the staff needs some more training? Had a slight issue with switching my tickets to another day but they did in fact fix it with free tickets so kudos there. However, the entrance was kinda dirty meaning the floor could've been cleaner. Ordering food was kind of weird since the menu constantly disappeared on the TVs when we were trying to order due to the fact that they were showing trailers off and on. Communication between concession stand and bar could be better especially if you're in a hurry to get to your seats. But the biggest thing for us was that when we got to our seats and the movie was starting, we opened our pizza box and our pizza hadn't been cut. No one was at the back counter so my husband missed the first of the movie. The couches were fun but still too close so only choose those if they're the last seats and be prepared for neck ache lol. My family went to see the new Minions movie and they had these cute little trays for the kiddos. Priced seemed reasonable but we tried to order a pizza, and I would not recommend. We've ordered it before and I hoped it was just that one time but their pizza recipe sucks. A nice girl manager named Emilee helped me out with getting a refund so I was satisfied. I got it after the movie since the kitchen wait was a pain. But if we ignore the kitchen, it was a fabulous time. Definitely recommend, just don't recommend the pizza. The theater was super cold and the drinks and popcorn were way overpriced. Ridiculous. The seats didn't heat, but they had a really nice recline. The Soundsystem and screen was humongous and they have a old movie playing once a month or so. Would recommend if you have some time to kill. It's in a good area to browse around town too. read more
