What an amazing venue to see a movie! Not to mention all the games and snack options! We took the grandkids to see "The Sheep Detective" after seeing a preview for it months ago while viewing the movie "David." This theater is so much nicer than the previous venue we went to and the cost was less expensive. Like night and day. I was going to buy advance tickets but we decided to just get them there at show time since it was not a busy day/time. You select the movie and time and pick your seat(s) on the order kiosk. Then select your payment and the tickets print off. Take them to the attendant and you're on your way! Once in the corresponding theater, you find your seat as they are all numbered. The reclining seats were very comfortable and in good working condition. The popcorn was warm and fresh. I would absolutely recommend this theater and can't wait to come back! read more

Bff was in town and I love to drag him to a girly movie when he's around so when he returns home, he's actually grateful I moved away. Last time it was Wuthering Heights which is on HBO now and I tried torturing him with prior to having him sit through Euphoria szn 3. I think Devil Wears Prada 2 + Euphoria was the perfect combo for him to be thrilled to be back in LA and away from me. This was our first time to this Cinemark, I'm an extremely fast learner and notes were taken immediately upon arrival. Pro tip here: bring your cozy movie blanket. I'll need to purchase a dedicated blanket for this purpose because I am the type of weirdo who wouldn't feel comfy cozy to use my sofa blankie at the theatre and then return home to use it without washing it. I'm just neurotic like that. The seats were great, recliners WITH HEATERS. I love a heated seat, not toilet seat - those creep me out but a vehicle seat and now that I've had the option, a movie seat. Popcorn was mediocre at best, soft drink was subpar and I don't drink soda so when I'm going to have one it's a disappointment if it's not great. Perhaps the syrup needed to be replaced or it was some off brand to actual Sprite which my palate will detect immediately. This theatre was great in a pinch. I purchased our seats online a few minutes before deciding we'd take in a late show. I was actually concerned a bunch of people would be dressed to the nines since it was Devil Wears Prada and I was not changing out of my loungewear for this outing so I was thrilled that the 10p Plano crowd was not "after date" show dressed up, just a totally casual Saturday evening crowd which set me at ease. Wouldn't rule out returning for other films in the future and next time with my allocated movie theatre blanket. read more

The highlights for me are definitely the seats--they are reclining and heated, making it incredibly easy to settle in and get comfortable for a long film. This is absolutely our favorite theater! Love the XD screens, popcorn is always fresh. One of the employees was super cool and went to the back to get a metal/tin Grogu popcorn bucket for me! Not a fan of the fountain drinks...seems like a lot of carbonation, but they have bottled sodas, so no worries! Love the arcade on the way out! I'm not sure his upper management would appreciate his management style. HOWEVER...check out the food . Fabulous!! Never thought to make a hot with queso and bacon . WOW. My spouse thought the chicken nachos were very good. Just needs bigger pieces of chicken. The BEST were the FRENCH FRIES!!! This was by far the nicest theater I've been to in well over a decade. Very spacious and clean. Lots of things for people to do before or after a movie. The bar, an arcade area for kids, and I think there was also an XD visual experience as well. I thought the concession area was interesting. Everything is self serve which is cool, but the only thing I didn't like was that the popcorn is already prepared for you to grab, which means that most of the popcorn was cold. We purchased three bags and all three were cold. Other than that, the theater itself was gorgeous and the seats were heated. I'd love to return to this location! read more

I think this is one of the best movie theaters in the area and I'm so pleased they survived the pandemic era. The seats are the best here since they are heated AND they recline. They have a little mini arcade here if you come early so you can kill time. Plus there's a nice bar here if you want to lounge a bit. It is self serve until you check out BUT if you have the app, you can have it ready for pickup or even delivered to your seat. It is cheaper to buy the tickets in person but there's a risk of not being able to get the seats you want. Overall my favorite place to go for movie time. It's bright, clean, and just a good get away from dreary reality. read more

Please note this review is ONLY for the bar/dining area - the theater itself is very nice. Instead of going to a restaurant before the movies, decided to eat at the theater itself in the dining area - the menu promised way more options than the standard popcorn and candy. Sat down at the bar - ordered cocktail, street corn, and a cauliflower crust pizza to share for two. The pizza came out looking like it was broken and it was barely warm. Nothing says an adult dinner like lukewarm pizza - the bartender didn't seem all that friendly so we ate it instead of sending it back to be reheated. The street corn was decent. The service was far worse - received paper napkins and no silverware, even though the cloth napkins (rolled with silverware inside) were in a tray right next to us. I asked our server and got them myself. We weren't even offered plates - what are we supposed to eat the pizza on??? Never asked if we wanted crushed pepper or shredded cheese for the pizza. Lesson learned - eat dinner before showing up to this theater. read more

Classic theatre experience. The food and popcorn aren't gonna change your life. But they make it easy to buy tickets and choose seats. Save yourself a couple bucks and buy your tickets in person. Every time we've come here the picture and sound have been on point! The chairs, even tho they recline, are pretty worn. This is my favorite movie theater in the area! There is a cinemark 8 minutes closer to me but i drive out of my way to go to this one. It's very spacious and well maintained. There's an arcade, bar, and large concession area. The staff are always very sweet. I've seen dozens of movies here and only once did I have an issue during a screen X movie where the side screens never came on. I notified the lady at customer service after the movie and was issued a full refund! Top tier theater and service. read more

This is the fanciest Cinemark I have ever been to, holy cow! It massive to start, even just walking into the lobby you can see how spacious it is. I LOVE how they organized their concessions. It's basically set up like a market. You can grab popcorn, and hot food, candy, etc. THEN you get in line to pay. It's seriously genius. Also this was the BEST popcorn! Without the added butter, it was so buttery and salty. The theatres are very nice, you can tell how well kept up with and clean everything is. Definitely a great movie seeing experience. read more

It's been awhile since visiting my old friend Cinemark West Plano. Back in the 1990s when first constructed,this theater was billed as the largest Mega- Plex in the country. As time passed and more theaters closer to home were built,I drifted away from this one. Tonight I saw a 31/2 hour movie. The Brutalist. True Cinema. The theater and screen were huge,heated seats and the biggest surprise of all,self serve snack bar! The crazy counter intuitive part was, I liked it. I've been to this theater four times now, and every visit makes me feel like I've finally found the right theater in the DFW area. Whether it's their XD setup or a standard screen, everything runs smoothly. No weird glitches, no torn-up seats, no mystery smells. Just comfy recliners that actually work and plenty of space to enjoy the show. The place is always spotless. Maybe it's because the corporate office is right next door and they're keeping an eye on things, but the screens are clean, which if you go to a lot of movies - that's pretty rare, the bathrooms are clean, and even the floors don't feel like a spilled soda crime scene. It's the kind of clean that makes you forget you're at a movie theater. Concessions are surprisingly on point. The popcorn is fresh every time, and you don't get that sad, stale vibe you sometimes get at other places. I've never had to shake a popcorn bucket and wonder if it was made last week. The staff is friendly and helpful. You're not expecting five-star hotel service, but they are more attentive than your average theater crew. Even when it's busy, they move fast. Overall, this is my favorite place to see a movie. I'm more than happy to make the drive because it's consistently good. If all movie theaters were this solid, I'd probably cancel half my streaming subscriptions. read more

This is my go to movie theatre! I think the thing that floors me and my husband is that the parking lot is always full however we don't believe that many movies are being released however that does not take away from this movie theater. From the bar and restaurant outside of the theaters to the recliner chairs and little tables connected to the chairs as well as cleanliness as a new theater vibe. I don't know maybe have something to do that is next-door to the corporate office whatever the case maybe I would rather come here than go anywhere else. I just love that I can finally order a salad while watching a movie rather than just fried food and pizza options. The staff is nice and friendly and they clean constantly which I appreciate. Beware spending $9.99 or more a month for Cinemark's movie club that will not give you the benefit you pay for! I started the club because it sounded like a good deal, but after 7 months and never going to the movies I thought it was time for me to discontinue the account but the tickets you receive monthly are not supposed to expire. So I finally stopped the account and it turns out that you only have 6 months to use all of those credits. I don't remember reading that anywhere, but maybe it was in the fine print somewhere? So in order for me to actually have the privilege of using tickets that I have paid for during the last 7 months, I have to pay $9.99 AGAIN in order to get those seven movie ticket credits back into my account. And on top of that, I not only have the privilege of paying almost $10 AGAIN, I also have to waste my time and call the corporate office to have them manually put the tickets back on my account?? When I asked customer service if they thought that was right, she just kept repeating their stupid policy like I'm some kind of an idiot and didn't hear the first two times. So then I asked has anybody ever done a class action lawsuit? Her response? Are you threatening to sue? I asked a question. Because if you're threatening to sue then I have to disconnect the call. I asked a question don't you... Don't you know the difference between a question and a threat? If you're threatening to sue I have to disconnect the call. Listen, a question ends with a question mark a threat is a statement. For example, "Have you ever been sued?" That's a question. "I'm going to sue you." That's a threat because it clearly states something I intend to do. Do you not know the difference? You need to talk to legal. So that many people threaten to sue or you have that many people asking about suing? Wow! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! read more

This is by far the cleanest theatre I've been to in the DFW area! I will definitely come out of my way to enjoy the experience. Visited to watch the Beyoncé Renaissance film and had a ball. The recliner seats were comfortable, were well operated and clean. The theatre itself was clean and nothing was out of place. I did appreciate the concession area of this theatre which was an open area where you can simply grab and go food. They offered tons of options from candy, pizza hut personal pies, hot dogs, chili dogs and more. Even the popcorn was self service. Parking is a bit nuts as it fills up quickly the closer you are to the theaters on (Fridays thru Sunday) but they offer a lot of spaces. read more

Ive been coming to this movie theater for over 20 years now since the time we've moved here, and never in that time I had experienced someone who works there have an INFLATED EGO. We came yesterday to watch the epic, re-premiere of Star Wars Episode 3: ROTS. I brought my lightsaber for this special occasion, and while at the concession the popcorn lady or someone who worked at the concession told me to put up my lightsaber and I complied. I was heading over to where my mom to tell her and, this kid who was African American and had freakishly green hair runs up to me and said that I couldn't have my lightsaber while he was yelling at the top of his lungs. He kind of ruined our evening, and we just want to put this out there that you guys need to do better in who you're hiring because he can end up ruining someone else's. All in all, it wasn't the Jedi way for him to yell at me and embarrassing me and my family. Cinemark West Plano, DO BETTER. We love Cinemark - always a great movie experience! That said, the Cinemark West Plano is one of the BEST. We were in the XD theater with DBox seats for Transformers and had a blast. Those particular seats will move and rumble along with the movie, making it feel like you're in the action. The seats at this theater, regardless of DBox, have SEAT HEATERS built in! They also have a great snack area with Pizza Hut pizzas, ice machines, etc.. If you haven't been to this theater, definitely worth the trip to Plano! read more

This is one of the best movie theaters I've ever been to! I moved to Dallas last year from St. Louis. I came here to see Everything Everywhere All at Once on Saturday evening. I've been to a lot of theaters, not just back home but in other cities also, and this theater is excellent! It's a large theater with a lot of screens, a large section for concession stands, and a nice bar in the lobby. I've been to many dining theaters with reclining seats in the theater, but what I hadn't encountered until Cinemark W Plano were reclining HEATED seats in the theater!!! That was an unexpected surprise that is a total game changer! Considering it was over 100 degrees outside that day, the heated seat wasn't needed (at all), but I'd imagine if you were having some lower back pain, it would be just what the doctor ordered. read more

I loved coming here because everything is always clean , but if you are of Latin decent DONT GO HERE !!! I've seen every worker like Ryan I assume is the manager and a young African American lady with an Afro and nose piercing Screamm at me and my siblings for not knowing the right side was closed . We assumed we would find more pizzas on the other side which is why we were heading that way ! Ryan then check us out and made us feel like we we're stupid and needed help with what we can fill our cup with ! ( he was very condescending ) While waiting for our pizzas I witness Ryan and the other workers be nice to every other person of different race but because of the political caos happening i think that's why we were treated a certain way . Got 2 cups filled with water and she was adamant that they don't care what's in the cup shes going to have to still charge for small drinks. I asked her to just give me the water cup and was told shes still going to have to damage out the cups acting like this wasn't a cup of water... I was very impressed with the Concessions. Unlike the Cinemarks near my house, this location's is self-serviced. Rather than order at the counter and wait for the food, there is no wait for food. The hotdogs and popcorn are kept under heating lamps. Finding kettle corn popcorn was a definite plus. Unlike the Cinemarks in my area, this location has the Coca-Cola Freestyle fountain soda. When I went to check out, the register did not suggest gratuity unlike their other locations. Unfortunately, the ScreenX viewing experience was less impressive. Unless you are seated near the back, you will be swaying your head side-to-side to capture the full experience. Otherwise, you are relegated to watching the middle of the screen. Similar to watching a movie in standard definition (SD) rather than high definition (HD) on a television. The image on the sides were low quality compared to the main screen. I would opt to watch a movie in XD rather than ScreenX. read more

I don't frequent the movies often, so I may be biased. I thoroughly enjoyed my first time here! This place is HUGE! It's like a Globogym of movie theaters. The concession area is confusing at first and a bit overwhelming; it was a busy day since it was Saturday and torrential downpour, so I'm sure that contributed to the chaos. I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea; didn't enjoy it. Way too much sour mix and the bartender did not pour a full shot for each of the liquors. My viewing experience was the best I've ever had in a theater. We saw Late Night With The Devil. The seats were incredibly comfy, could recline, AND were heated! I've only been to this theater twice, but each time the customer service and overall movie experience has been excellent. The building is maintained very well, so expect clean seats and bathrooms. One of the best aspects about this theater is their concessions setup. Instead of waiting in long lines for food, there's a candy section, heated popcorn and hot dog areas for you to pick the items you want and head to the register to be checked out. So, if you're like me and hate waiting in lines, this is something that I bet you'll appreciate. Overall, this place is a great location to catch the latest movies . THINGS TO NOTE: 1) There's a massive designated parking lot in the front and along the side of the building, so there should be no problems finding a spot. 2) Instead of waiting in line, you can also head to one of their digital stations (directly in front of the ticketing registers) to buy and print your own tickets. Then there are no signs marking the butter/condiment station & they're behind a frosted glass so if you don't already know it's there, you wander around aimlessly wondering why you can't find the butter/salt/etc. Also, you're supposed to pay first before even doing the buttering. The beverages are same thing- you're supposed to pay before dispensing. It all just lacks fluidity & clear directive that would make a huge difference. read more

There was almost a FULL HALF HOUR of commercials and 15 minutes of previews before the movie started. The showtime was listed as 1:25. Just flat-out commercials, not even previews 1:50. Movie did not actually start until 2:08 -- ALMOST 45 MINUTES after the advertised showtime. I don't know who has the kind of time or patience to sit through a HALF HOUR of commercials before the movie starts. Jeez, and some folks got there prior to the showtime, I'm sure. I got into my seat at 1:40 -- trying to avoid the commercials, but NO, I still had a half hour to go before the movie even started. This is the absolute worst I've seen. I usually go to Cinemark Legacy or Cinemark Central. Won't be coming back here soon. read more

This is my favorite Cinemark to frequent (maybe because it's right next door to HQ). The consistency of service and friendliness of staff is amazing. Their refreshments and snack counters in the front are super optimized so that there never is any wait to pick up food. The seats are always clean and the sight lines are great. I don't have any complaints. They have a restaurant in the front if you want to do formal dining. They recently added an arcade and it's amazing. I would come back just for that tbh. read more

Very clean and relatively upgraded movie theater. We came here on a Friday night and the movie theater was packed! There's plenty of parking in the lot. The inside was welcoming and inviting, there's a popcorn fridge where staff puts fresh popcorn for you to grab and pay for it. The bathrooms are clean and modernized.
