Service was quick and I was in and out. The nurse was good at her job. My only complaint is that it's in the basement of a big building and there is no cell reception ( not their fault) but they have an online check in when you get there. that I was unable to use because of no service. It's all very convenient, and quick, and they seem to accept most insurance plans. I have never sat more than 10 minutes in the waiting room and 2 of the 3 phlebotomists I have seen there are exceptionally skilled at dealing with my tiny veins which are difficult for some to access. They don't even leave bruises.

The women working at this lab were so friendly and welcoming. There were a few people ahead of me, but they got through everyone as fast as they could. And they did it with a smile and some chit chat, which isn't always the case at labs. Parking was also super easy as they have a large lot that is shared with other medical offices. I'll be returning to this lab the next time I need some labs done!

I made an appointment for today at 8 a.m. because that was the first appt. of the day, figuring I would get right in. I arrived at 7:45 and found the door locked. Someone opened it 10 minutes later saying that they don't open until 8 a.m.! Rude! They set the appt. schedules not us. My biggest complaint is that they want you to arrive early, but I have never, repeat never, been seen on time. Usually they are 15 - 20 minutes late. It was that way today - and, for the first appt. of the day. They do not respect your time but they expect you to respect theirs. This experience is a continuation of every appointment I've had with them.

Natick Rd. Same building as Concentra Urgent Care. No appointment necessary. The entrance is under the drive through portico facing Macy's (sort of). Nice to have the overhead protection to drop off someone on a rainy day. There is plenty of parking in front of the building. As soon as you enter, straight ahead a few steps lead down. If you need to use the elevator, it's to the right of the steps. The waiting area for the lab is at the bottom of the steps and to the left. Take a number by the check-in window and have a seat. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. When your number is called, hand your lab slip, ID and insurance card to the receptionist. Reception will log you in, be sure they have all your insurance info in the system and add the ordered tests which will print labels for phlebotomy staff. A phlebotomist will come to the door and call your first name when it's your turn. During my first visit a student phlebotomist did my blood draw under the supervision of the staff phlebotomist. She did a great job and I was in and out quickly. The room where they do the draws is brightly lit and very clean. Staff were all very friendly and the receptionist really helped me out with insurance. If this is a convenient location for you, it seems like a good choice. Now, let's see if my insurance carrier agrees.

The office is very small overall but cozy. There is one woman who works here and she is splendid. Extremely nice and professional. I mentioned to her that I have an issue with needles and that I will never out grow my fear unfortunately, and she was completely sympathetic. She used a needle one size down from the one she normally would use in order for me to not feel it. You know, I didn't! I was very thankful! She also took the time to explain the glucose test process. The office is very clean and well kept. There is some reading material, but nothing that interested me so my suggestion is to bring something to read if you think you will be awhile. My ONLY reason for the 4 stars is because they are not open weekends. I had come here Saturday morning as to try and avoid interrupting my work week and the hours, which are posted right on the door, only show Monday-Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm. So the only time I could do this was a weekday morning.

Also, if there's an issue with locating a vein they don't poke around. A simple butterfly (think that's the name) will be inserted. Rarely that's the case with me lbut it's happened at hospitals and other facilities - the constant poking with no blood. Here they remember and she finds the correct spot first try everytime. The intake is a bit lengthy but they do it right and unlike East Side they do it in front of you and explain any questions before you initial or sign. Again other places treat you like a deli order and you sit in the waiting room until they do the paperwork and surprise surprise, I've gotten bills for things my insurance didn't cover at East Side where Quest will look and make sure all is well. Even with the short hours - I'm giving this 5 stars because of the quality of service. Besides, I usually have to fast anyway so it's not an issue. It's a walk in & appointment so those that get angry, make an appointment.

The Dr…read moreseemed like he was annoyed just to even speak with me, he implied I was making things up, was dismissive of the referring doctors notes and of my questions, at times felt like he was mocking me, and took me in 25 minutes late. He did order the necessary imaging and scans, but the whole time he just made me feel stupid for even being there. I had to repeat myself multiple times, as it seemed like he was just ignoring what I said (based on his own questions and how he interacted with me). It was my first visit with this doctor, so maybe he was just having a bad day, but that's not an excuse to treat patients that way and it makes me nervous for my follow-up with him.
