Verdict: Pasta was second to none. So, I don't normally make a habit of ordering past when I go to a restaurant, as I feel it is literally one of the biggest rip offs in the history of food preparation. Having said this, I made an exception this time, and I am incredibly happy that I did. I ordered the mussel fettuccini and the sauce that was used was spectacular. The others I was with also ordered pasta dishes, and they were all cooked to perfection. The starter salad was very fresh and tasty, and the service was amazing. There was a little feller with us, and he server was incredibly accommodating and interactive with him, and he really enjoyed his lunch experience. Just came back from eating at East Side Marios- food was great as always (always a classic favorite that I'll keep coming back to), however today the restaurant was quite busy and thus the orders were very behind. We ordered at around 5:45 and had our orders arrive to our table at around 6:50. Usually the orders come quick enough but today the kitchen was lagging behind. Quite literally only came back for a cotton candy drink, only to see that they took it off the menu. The kids menu is a constant changer in the form of drinks, personally that is not really normal or ok. Pasta was ok but not the best, it was rather bland but was tolerable. If I'm being completely honest the only good things are the ceaser salad and little bread they give at the start. Would not recommend for adults, but if it's for kids, would recommend for fun since it's pleasing to see fancy drinks for kids ;) read more

I am undecided whether this place is a 3 or a 4 star - it's really another place that I would gladly grant 3.5 stars, if only I could, simply because they offer a version of Italian fast food, affordable, family oriented, and the restaurants are always loud and noisy. I really do like the food here, but I often get the same thing - mainly because I don't make it for myself at home: pasta primavera. And wouldn't it be a simple dish to make!? A big draw for me is the snow peas; I *LOVE* them! However, I am really not fond of those hot green peppers they put in the salads (jalapenos? Ick!) So I always ask them to take that out, and they always accomodate. That's a nice touch! The service was personable, helpful, approachable, and pleasant. I will be back. read more

First of all I would like to thank our amazing server Scotty , his service alone was a whole 5 stars not only was he extremely friendly and outgoing but was very understanding and helpful throughout our dinner. this rating does not reflect his amazing service but that of the kitchen and manger tonight ( Saturday February 10 2024 around 7:45pm) first of all the kitchen had a major issue with sauce tonight we had to send back our salads and get extra sauce for both pastas which were so dry they were hard.. good luck getting the managers attn to address these issues - he snubbed us off and made us feel like we were inconveniencing HIM even tho we are the customers who are paying.... when we tried to seek him out a second time, he pretended to not even remember who we were... In what world does a manager not drop what he's doing for a customer that is unhappy ??? Took my daughter to East Side Mario's for her 10th birthday as we no longer have one where we live and it is her favorite restaurant. We had a great server who was really friendly. Our food was excellent. We had more bread and salad then we could fill our bellies with and not only did they sing the birthday song to her but they gave her a double dessert! She got a sundae AND an ice cream tube. Wonderful experience and we definitely plan to return again read more

Its East Side Marios :) So I'l review the dish I selected this evening, and what I usually order. I had the Scallop Carbonnara. It was okay, a bit bland, and pricey at $17. I found the taste came mostly from the saltiness of the bacon bits. Portions were good including the amount of scallops. One of my favorite dishes that I've had many times and haven't gotten tire of is the Sausage and Penne. As with any main course, unlimited soup or salad is included. When its 2 of us, we usually select 1 of each and alternate, however it doesn't seem like they mind giving you a bowl of soup when you've asked for, and have already had a salad. If I could leave 0 stars I would. For starters the restaurant was at half capacity due to COVID restrictions, meaning they should have no problem serving everyone comfortably. Instead all the waitresses were running around like a bunch of chickens looking for their heads. One of the waiters even had the nerve to tell a customer who had just been seated "to make sure they were ready to order their food by the time I get back". Even when my girlfriend and I were ordering we both felt rushed to whole time and the waitress kept cutting us off when we were ordering. While we were eating one of the waiters walked by mumbling things and using the f-bomb IN A FAMILY RESTAURANT. Pizza was ok, pasta was ok, certainly has gone downhill since last time I had been to this location, one thing that didn't go downhill was the price. 10/10 would not recommend read more

We've eaten here at least a dozen times in the last 5-10 years and over the last 2-3 years it has gotten more expensive and the food quality has declined significantly. Last night I ordered a Veal Parmigiana and was served with what I could only describe as a meat cracker. It was so badly overdone I immediately complained and was offered a redo. My table mates were half finished their meals before I received the replacement. The replacement veal was somewhat better but still not up to what I would expect in terms of tenderness. The side of spaghetti with a tomato sauce had a distinctly soapy taste. Overall, food quality was a failure. Service by the staff was good but I honestly have had it with this chain. We attended this location many times before Covid...never really impressed. Since Covid, we've ordered many times from this restaurant and they messed up almost every time. On two occasions, they forgot to pack my daughter's pasta resulting in a very disappointing and hungry child. There always seems to be something they forget or get wrong. We've had zero issues with any other restaurant since Covid started. I get that they're busy but how hard is it to read the order and make sure everything is correct? It wouldn't be a big deal if it would've happen once or twice but every time is not ok. Tonight was one more chance we were willing to give them but it'll be the last. Just come from dinner, disappointment. Food was good, no complaints. Service no good, this girl should go to school and work in different field. People beside us come after us were eating dinner and we don't even have our salad. Why she come to ask if we want our salad now I have no idea?! I ordered Ceasar al diabolical, according the drinks list there should be Mott's Clamato juice, no water listed!!! This one was so watery I complained and get new one, not much better. Did not even finish it.We were supposed to get number for contest to win vacation, nothing. When I asked about it, she had no idea what I'm talking about. O, and we didn't get receipt. Order via the Skip the Dishes app. When the food arrived, it was missing items. I called the restaurant to notify them of the error. Was left on hold for a long time. When they finally got back on the phone they didn't know what the issue was. The restaurant blamed the issue on Skip the Dishes. However, the Skip driver is not responsible for making nor packing the items for delivery. The manager took zero accountability for the issue/error. I'm a huge fan of East Side Mario's but don't come as often as I should. I go maybe twice or three times a year. This location is not bad although it does get really busy dinner time and weekends. When it's not busy, it's great service but when it's busy, everything slows down like crazy. I asked for a refill on my salad but didn't get one until 20 minutes later, after I had to remind our server twice. Same goes for when asking for water. I went here with my brother and had a pleasant experience. Usually I think of East Side as meh, and normally would have given it a 3/5 but this time around it got much better. I had a pepperoni pizza which came with unlimited bread and salad. They say "unlimited" but normally the servers never offer you any more or don't show up again until the main meal is actually ready. Totally defeats the purpose of unlimited...Anyways, this time around was different. The waitress was great, every time we finished the bread/salad, she brought us more. That's how it should be! The pizza was really good too! I usually order pasta but I've learned to stay away from this. Every time I have pasta here I'm not overly satisfied with the flavour or the chicken is rubbery. The best thing about East Side is their bread/salad, I am never disappointed with this! Their pizzas are good too its just the bread/salad are the highlights. The waitress was great at this location! Tip: Most importantly, make use of your unlimited food and get more, just because your meal has arrived doesn't mean the bread/salad have to stop! I literally thought I was served microwave michelinas for dinner ... And it took an hour to get the plate.... It was also cold, and not cooked. Didn't understand why it took so long to microwave this plate of michelina's pasta. The server was lovely though, she didn't make us pay. read more
