Gelato: so easy to eat & tastes great too! Perfect for a hot summer day.

I had a wonderful time at East Side Mario's. It's conveniently located and can't be missed as it's so easy to spot it even from a distance. The appetizers are amazing. I could just eat them all. I loved the mozzarella sticks. You simply can't stop at just one. They're served hot, fresh and they're super cheesy (yes please!). I also liked the cauliflower pizza. It was my first time trying an AYCE pastas because I usually go to sushi for AYCE. But it was a nice change! (Wednesday's are all you can eat pasta). I'm sure kids would love it even more here and it'll be super easy to please them. If you do end up trying it out, please do me a favour and try the brownie. It was amazing! The staff were super friendly, energetic and welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience. Another bonus is that they have a patio and it makes for a chill night out on a hot summer day. From the patio, you can also get a view of the road.

I ordered a Diet Pepsi and got water with a lemon wedge in addition!

My rating is 3.5 stars. A few weeks ago, our team had our regular eat-out Friday lunch ritual. My manager was on a business trip and asked me to lead this lunch. I did. There were five of us. It was the last lunch with my two students, for it was their last day with the company. We had two other colleagues join us. This East Side Marios is roughly a ten-minute drive from my workplace. I didn't realize that there was a Costco behind this restaurant until one of my students had mentioned it. It's funny that she knew that there was a Costco. Ask her where she lives and she has a difficult time (don't ask). The restaurant is modern when you walk in. I don't often frequent East Side Marios. I simply know the one in Markham and rarely visit it these days. I ordered a Diet Coke and water. I got a lemon wedge with the latter. I also got the lunch size version of chicken tetrazzini I liked the warm bread that you get. Slather butter on it and it's yummy. I ended up being the bread carver for a bit. My chicken tetrazzini was good. My only complaint was that it was too small. I was still hungry that I ended up eating more bread, which I rarely do. I wasn't the only one eating the bread. Eventually, all five of us polished the bread off and ordered even more! I would sooner get the regular size! It was a nice, casual, leisurely lunch with colleagues. Perhaps it was good that my manager wasn't there that day. We spent two hours chatting and eating! (201).

Hell's Kitchen Chicken - asked for the sauce on the side since the dish was pretty spicy

Oh boy, I'm just going to jump right into it... PROS -great space -love the furnishing and décor -bright and colourful -each table was nicely lit -server was absolutely lovely - very polite CONS -service was dreadful and unbelievably slow -waited 15-20 mins for the menu and water -waited another 10-15 minutes for our order -waited an additional 45-50 mins to get our food -only 1 server on the floor -"Hell's Kitchen Chicken" was good, definitely spicy but delicious - veggies on the other hand needed a lot of seasoning Nope, nope, nope! Not coming back here I'll stick to the Heartland location, thank you very much.

I am usually a fan of east side mario's, however this location was definitely a turn off. Where do I start? I guess I will start with the service. We stood waiting to be seated for a while I mean the waitress saw us, smiled and continued on. I guess she wasn't designated to seat us, because the waiter sat us. We needed the gluten free menu so that was another wait took our waitress about 5-10 mins to see us. All in all I am not impressed with the wait times. It took us a while hour to actually get what we ordered. Our waitress was friendly and polite but I ordered a medium cooked steak, about half and inch in thickness. My steak came out rare, so what was the hour wait for? I usually go to the Milton location when I visit my family and that is by far the better east side of the 2 u have been too. The only thing I liked was the atmosphere of this place. Lighting was great and deco/designs were vibrant and lively.

$12.99 include pasts, bread and soup, good price, although the fettuccine alfredo is so so. Good for friends gathering.

Who doesn't love East Side Marios? All you can eat bread and salad with almost everything on the menu? Yes please!! Came here tonight for date night, this location is BRAND NEW, just opened recently. At a prime location of dixie and dundas, easy to get to and the only location in this part of Mississauga. Our server was great, we didn't catch his name but he was super friendly, helpful and quick. He explained that this location is the "corporate location" and that they will always be the first location to test new menu items. The restaurant is not too large, but plenty of seating room. The washrooms are a tad small but very nice. There is also a takeout section where you can purchase food to go. I ordered the Broccoli, parmesean penne with chicken, which was delicious! The portion size was a bit big but much much smaller than most of the pasta items on the menu. It was fantastic! We didn't buy any appetizers as the All you can eat bread and salad is more than enough! Love this location, will definitely be back! 5/5

Already I have my judgement and second thoughts... maybe as a local, I should check out somewhere else? As we entered this side door, the sign said we needed reservations to be seated. We knocked on the door and asked, they accommodated us. Vaccine passport checked. There's also outdoor seating available, though there's no shade. The place was dead. We were the only customers... we didn't know that until we stepped in, so we were committed at that point. Not the type of vibe that's very welcoming when it's dead and the doors don't look opened. We ordered the cheese steak and fries (sushi-grade steak on the menu) $19. The special that day was the 1lb of wings for $15 that comes with fries or salad. Regularly, the wings don't come with a side. I like the sauce with the wings, tequila chipotle with lime. The server was also attentive, but like I said, we were the only ones there! The food is okay! The salad is fresh, and the fries are crispy. The menu is a standard pub affair and the decor leaves me wanting something more exciting. Oh, there's a check-in offer for a free dessert, which I missed, so please take advantage of it. As a traveller at the hotel, you'll be satisfied with the food. As a local, nothing really stood out to go out of my way for a revisit.

After work today, I was picking up a beverage order at Starbucks and noticed that this Harvey's was open. It has taken over the store that was Fresh Burger, and is between Chipotle and Sunset Grill. I thought that I would order a meal through the Harvey's app on my phone. I'd then fetch it at the eatery and sit down to enjoy it. I placed my order in my car, parked at Circle K, which was across the street. I took advantage of the angus burger combo for $8.99 before taxes, which had the following: - Angus burger on a multigrain bun - Onion rings - Diet Pepsi (I upgraded to a large) for $0.50 I got word that it would be ready in fifteen minutes. It was enough time for me to redeem some coupons at Circle K and then drive over to Harvey's. I ended up with a prime parking spot steps away from both Chipotle and Harvey's. I backed into the spot and walked in. There was a man sitting down at a table on the right. I headed straight to the counter and got a cheerful, bubbly woman. I let her know that I was picking up a takeout order and said my first name. Her colleague nodded and fetched my order in a paper bag. I thanked both of them and found a table. I sat down and had dinner, watching CP24 on the screen. The angus burger was delicious. It had garlic mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and relish. The multigrain bun was soft and held everything together. It was fantastic! My Diet Pepsi was okay. It didn't have enough Diet Pepsi syrup from the fountain machine. I should have stuck with the regular size. I loved my onion rings. They were crispy and naturally sweet. I dipped them in ketchup. I used the washroom before I headed home. There are two single stalls. One was wheelchair-accessible. I used the regular one. It was clean. What I loved about it was a little shelf that I used to place my drink on it. Nice! I'm happy that there's this eatery by my workplace. It's a nice change from having McDonald's in the area when I crave a burger. Welcome, Harvey's! It's a beautiful thing. (327)

This was Game 7! Do or die! We were all adorned in Jays' paraphernalia and arrived early to get seated before it got crowded. There were already many Jays fans sitting along the tables. We sat down at the bar and were greeted by a beautiful and friendly bartender, Deja. She asked us how we are. We told her we were from out of town. She knew our friends very well, and she raced around the bar to give them a huge hug. She hugged us, too! We ordered a couple of Blue Jay beer specials, and we got very comfortable. Deja was interested in where we were from and if we had family. We have two grown kids who are away at school. She showed us a picture of her adorable 3-year-old daughter. She loves her so much, and you could see she was a great mom! It started getting busier as it was closer to game time, and at this point, there was only standing room. She had two barbacks help her get the orders in. The game was on, and it was getting louder and louder as people were cheering for our JAYS! It was complete madness with so many people that you couldn't breathe. But the environment was so energetic and fun, we didn't care. We could see how busy Deja was, yet she attended to everyone's orders and never missed a beat in a professional and friendly manner. She was truly amazing! I could never handle so many people at once. The night went by, and we all know the undesirable result of the game. The entire room was in shock, and their faces were just drained in disappointment. I felt like the overwhelming sadness was shared in the room, and we all began to console each other. At that point, some discouraged people stayed and drank some more, but we needed to go. Deja thanked us, and she ran around the bar, and we all had a vigorous group hug, knowing it would be okay. We will heal. We gave her a great tip, and she thanked us and asked us to come back again. We definitely will. I highly recommend stopping by the Bull on Bloor! We made great memories and new friends.
