The front desk staff is very short with patients!!! The bathroom is very dirty! I would definitely choose to go to another location.

Parking 5/5 Easy finding a parking spot in the private parking lot. Security 5/5 Evening security guard was on their game, getting visitors masked up and through the medal detector. Note to visitors, I always carry a pocket knife. No bueno back to the vehicle it goes. Never detected my Badge, left knee replacement like the airports do. All good though she was cool. Learned which floor/room my friend was admitted to and easily found her. She was experiencing a medical condition and was being treated properly for it. She didn't feel being admitted was necessary but I agreed with the doctor. After an hour she was hard at sleep and in great care. As of 1/15 she is still being treated and is recovering. Thank-You Lord, and to the caring staff at Banner Baywood! Stay Healthy my friends-SYOY!

I went in for an unexpected medical emergency. They were not super busy, but as soon as the ER doctor spoke to me, they went to work. They ran tests & we had initial results very quickly. It was a relief knowing someone was going to address my problem, especially because it was scary! In every hospital you have to be patient to some degree. There are always bumps along the way & you might even interact with a few people with little to no bedside manner & some may seem like they aren't listening. It's up to us to decide if they are important enough to complain about, because sometimes they aren't worth the time. Overall, my experience with 99.5% of the staff at Banner Baywood was great! They listened, they responded & I was treated appropriately. During COVID I personally knew too many people who were treated very inappropriately at several other hospitals in & out of AZ, so I was not so trusting. Banner Baywood gave me renewed hope. I am thankful & glad I chose Banner Baywood.

Dr Stein and the medical staff were great. The admin and their system is where things seem to break…read moredown. They changed my first name to a letter. Literally. They claim they can't list me by my actual first name, because it's abbreviated on my insurance card. My insurance knows it's abbreviated and they have my full legal name. And even if their system is that complicated, there's no preferred name option? Really? So they will refer to me as a single letter instead of my actual name. I've never run into this problem before at a medical provider office and I've been to many using the same insurance card. Imagine being taken back to have a procedure done under anesthesia and the assistant you've never met tries to greet you but doesn't know what to call you because your name is missing on your paperwork, and it's just a letter. Imagine they try to call your driver back after you're done, and they don't know what to announce. Imagine you get texts after your procedure, referring to you as a single letter instead of your first name. That's exactly what happened, and I was really surprised. It's poor customer service. It creates confusion and discomfort when you're already in a vulnerable position. I work at a medical office and I can't imagine treating a patient like that. It's such a basic standard to call people by their name. I let the office know my concern and they said they can't do anything about it. I'll go elsewhere next time.

And got a call from a collection agency and they are trying to collect the amount. Call doctor office back and told them and they said they would have someone investigate it and get back to me. Looks like I might have to file a complaint with the AZ attorney general office that they are trying to extort money from me. My insurance company said that I do not own them anything. Stay away from them unless you want trouble.

Had an appointment October 22 with my Neurologist, Dr Kapoor. She was wonderful and took her time…read morewith me, very thorough. I was told I needed an mri and to come back two month later. Waited a week for banner imaging to call me about my mri, no one ever called, so I call neurology back twice trying to figure out why I wasn't getting called about an appt and Banner imaging was also not answering til today. Today Dec 2nd I found out my referral from here was NEVER SENT to banner imaging... Could you imagine if there was something severely wrong with me and something happened to me in the time frame of "waiting for banner imaging to call" when neurology never even sent in my referral. Anyways hope this was a one off for me, but who knows.

I'm seeing several complaints here about the "Banner Health Clinic: Neurology in Greeley". I hope…read morethe information I've received from my family is inaccurate. But as far as I can tell, this clinic reported my dad to the DMV as not being able to drive and diagnosed him with dementia. I do not disagree on their action with my dad's driving. I know they have a legal obligation to report people they are concerned of being a danger to themselves or others. However, it seems that they dropped the ball there. Again, they had ordered some tests through radiology and apparently my family didn't get the right tests done. From what I understand, Banner Health didn't communicate directly with radiology and was disappointed when they came back with no brain tests. I just tried calling the office to get or give information and the other person would not budge either way. I understand that HIPPA prevents them from giving information to me but even in lawyers' offices, they will receive information. I am living outside of the US and have limited functionality on calling apps that allow me to call the US so I am not able to do a three-way call directly so my dad can give them permission to speak with me. My dad doesn't want to go back after the way he was treated (which I acknowledge may not be 100% as far as his perception) but my mom and brother get the same vibe that this clinic doesn't want to deal with him and they won't even take action on making a referral so they won't have to deal with one of their patients. It seems that the medical field is changing from a place of compassion for the sick to a legal entity that is more hard-nosed than the legal industry itself. Most places would give general information (i.e. law offices, DMV) etc. But I couldn't even get that here. I hope this is just a big misunderstanding that can be resolved by staff taking action and not just waiting for the patient to call.

Just go somewhere else. I got referred there after I broke out in hives. So remember I'm itchy ALL…read morethe time this happened, sometimes more sometimes less, ALWAYS ITCHY though. After my initial consult they lost me as a patient for two weeks. Took a couple days of leaving messages in the MA's mailbox before I stumbled on the only way to ever get a message through to anyone is through scheduling. But then you start to run into the shrew factor going through scheduling/front office staff. Don't get me wrong, they don't recruit specifically, I don't think. Not everyone I encountered was a shrewlike harpy just waiting for their turn to make mouth noises at you, sometimes so much so you don't get to finish yours or have to repeat the whole thing again. Some were very pleasant and you only had to say something once. But it was at least 60/40 maybe 70/30, shrews/pleasant. So they ran some tests. Took a couple weeks. Put me on some meds. Tests came back. Need more tests. Meds they just put me on that's only effect was to delay my ability to take the test by 6-8 weeks, and keep feeling doped as hell and, scratching like I'm trying to win the Oscar in Ray. So I get the test done. Now LabCorpPatient is involved here so I'm not entirely sure who to fire the "blamezooka" at on the next few they both appear to have a history of suckage. But the test gets lost. Next test, messed up somehow(effing weeks). Final test, get reffered to specialist. To kinky to go into, don't want to violate the HIPPO. Anyway I took two buses over an hour to go to my last visit. I had to fill out paperwork for conditions I didn't have, unlace my boots, (bus=walking=boots) take em off for height (umm, the same), weight (@247# w/3to5# boot, you're looking at 1-2% of the total weight is boot. No dosing is that accurate) lace 'em back up, get BP temp, someone asking me questions I just answered with things I said, a 15 minute wait, to fill out paperwork to order a shot they said I was coming in to get. The ordering has gone awry. After being tired of being cut off, repeating myself, and general lack of competence. I expressed my displeasure, I'll admit when met with snotty and haughty tones I returned fire. And near the end I was so flustered I may have treated a pleasant unfairly. Anyway they've sent me a breakup letter, I've filed a grievance with my insurance. By all means if this is the experience you're looking for give them a call.
