I cannot rave about this place enough! They saved the day! My husband had ordered a large floral arrangement from a florist nearby, and it ended up being a total bait and switch. So he called East Williston Florist to make sure i still had flowers for my birthday. Within less than 3 hours they created such an incredible bouquet, it was like they knew me. They absolutely nailed it. I cried, i was so happy! It was such a welcomed and joyful surprise with all my favorite colors! I don't know how they did it, and especially so last minute!! I had received an anniversary bouquet a couple years ago from here and i always tell my husband that it was one of the most beautiful floral arrangements i have ever received years later. They definitely set the bar high with customer service and quality! They are definitely our go to from now on! I highly recommend them and trust their creative abilities. read more

Here's the deal with this place: They have great stuff but their pricing is not consistent. I prefer dealing with the older lady, (perhaps the owner) who is usually in the back putting together arrangements, mainly because her prices are the best. I've called out a few other employees on the pricing because I knew it was way too high. Case in point, bunch of sunflowers I needed. One guy said $5 a piece, I said no way, and she said no way as well and corrected him at $3 when she heard me say that was high. Because of that, I deducted one star. (I contemplated deducting two but that woman has come to my rescue on more than one occasion!) Yes, my MO is to always negotiate with florists because I know what the mark up is and let's face it, the flowers die in a week or two. However, that has put a bad taste in my mouth at times and has made me want to go somewhere else. Do NOT fall into their trap when they ask you, "how much do you want to spend?" You will be disappointed. Always ask how much each flower is and proceed with how big of a bouquet you want to go with. Just a tip to all those trying to save a buck or two! read more

I called in a bind to hear a very nice man named Jack on the phone and kindly ordered a large bouquet When I arrived I found Jack, a very rude salesman that left me standing there while he took orders on the phone for 15 minutes. I ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife's place employment on Valentines Day. I had placed the order at 9am and was told that the flowers would be there before she leaves work. I had not heard from my wife that she had received the flowers by four thirty, decided to call the florist to see if they were delivered. They had yet to leave the shop and were going to be delivered on the next delivery. Mind you my wife had most likely left work already and the clinic closes at 4, all of which they were made aware of when i placed my order. I am not sure what would have happened to the arrangement if I had not called and the driver found the clinic closed. It was very important to me that the flowers were delivered early as I am away and not able to be home for Valentines day. They are now delivering the flowers and placing the arrangement by the back door. This is not the first time this has happened frequently with this florist. They are a local and I try as much as possible to patronize local business. But I will never again, nor would I recommend them. Well the flowers finally arrived at 6:15 to my home. The most pathetic flowers arrangement for 149.00 To add insult to injury some of the flowers were crushed and broken. They were delivered in a car so I'm certain they took a fall during delivery. They ruined the day. Not only was I not able to be home today they made it worse with the poor service as well the product they delivered. A true ripoff. Our daughter's wedding venue was elegantly decorated by Patricia and her son. It was a pleasure to work with her. My budget request was respected and our daughter's wishes were followed and helpful suggestion were made. Material had to be picked up from our home and delivered to the venue an hour away. This morning Jack drove back out to East Setauket to retrieve the trellis that had been used in the ceremony. There was never any pressure and a comfortable working relationship made this process a pleasurable one. read more

The recipient called me at 12:22p thanking me for the beautiful flowers. WHAT?! Gorgeous Mother's Day flowers! I bought flowers through teleflora online and they go through local florists to delivery your selected arrangement, rather than big chain flower shops where quality is lacking. The arrangement East Williston florists put together was beautiful! My mom couldn't stop raving about them and even my dad commented. I came here because i know they have a nice selection of flowers, having ordered here in the past. Anyhow, Ryan charging me $30 for one and a half bunches of babies breaths, blew my mind. They werent worth the $30- especially when i can easily go to a grocery store to buy. Left a bad taste in my mouth and will be using Diva flowers down the street from now on. My only vindication was paying on an Amex instead of the cash i had on hand, since i am sure they are getting screwed on rates anyway. read more

While it was delivered on time and bouquet did look beautiful for a very fair price........they substituted the wrong colors without even calling me to offer me my 2nd choice. When you walk in the front door you see cat hair ALL OVER the place as well as cats. For someone whose allergic or just sanitary it's disgusting. We placed an order a week in advance for a boutinniere for my daughter's prom date. The day of prom we picked it up and it was the wrong color. While waiting for it to be redone, the tall young woman that helped us was not pleasant. She gave us a flower that was almost completely opened and fell apart soon after my daughter gave it to her date and it was more expensive than any of her other friends paid. I am disappointed and disgusted with my experience with East Williston Florist. I ordered a bouquet of flowers online to be sent to a family mourning a very recent loss. I called the morning of the delivery to make sure the flowers could be delivered before the family had to leave to attend calling hours. I was assured on the phone that the delivery could be made "before noon." Upon contacting the family after they returned from calling hours four hours later, I learned that they had come home from to a delivery notice on the door instructing them to call the florist to have the flowers delivered. Not only did this inconvenience the bereaved family by forcing them to call to get the flowers which should have been delivered four hours previously, I was also never reached by phone, although I was instructed to give a phone number upon ordering so I could be contacted about "problems with my order." I will not be taking my business to East Williston Florist in the future, and I hope anyone who does not wish to experience a similar situation takes their business elsewhere. read more
