Response to Candace from Exovations: I never received an…read moreoffer to replace the sliding doors with French doors even for an extra fee. Oscar simply told me that it was not possible to change the order. Not sure what you heard on your end, but that's the truth. I would have been open to that. Also, the door I received is not custom, it is a standard size, only the framework around the door is "custom" as is ANY door frame. Here is the language from my contract: "Re-frame the opening to accept a door: 5/0 x 6/8" And from Google: Yes, a 5/0 x 6/8 (60 inches wide by 80 inches tall) is a standard size for Neuma's sliding doors. Neuma offers this specific size as part of its standard offerings, particularly for its Bypass Gliding Doors." So actually, switching my order to French doors would have simply involved extra paperwork. Update: I am lowering my review to one star because Exovations refuses to address the door issue. After a few months it has become apparent that I can't use the heavy glass patio doors they installed. I am disabled and over 65. It is very difficult for me to pull open the heavy door due to a spine injury, and I have tripped on the large threshold. I sent an email to them before installation, stating I needed the door opening to be at least 40" wide to accommodate a wheelchair, and they gave me one that opens to only 22" wide. I recently emailed them to ask that they change out the patio door to French doors, which I wanted in the first place, and they refused. It will now cost me thousands of dollars to have the door replaced.

Evocations made our house repairs a breeze. We needed facia, soffit, siding repairs. John was…read moreincredibly knowledgeable, taking the time during our initial meetings to explain everything thoroughly. He listened to what we wanted, offered practical options, and made sure we were comfortable with each decision. Chris, our project manager, was just as great--easy to work with and always on top of things. The crews that came out were professional, courteous, and left the worksite spotless each day. We were genuinely impressed with the workmanship, attention to detail, and overall quality--from start to finish. Even the dumpster driver went the extra mile by emptying our personal trashcan before hauling the dumpster away. Evocations delivered stand-up work in every sense, and we'll definitely be using them again for future renovations.

After more than 30 years in our home, we decided to replace all the windows. I contacted and got…read moreestimates from three companies. Two were "Big Box Stores," and the third was The Window Source. The Window Source estimate was considerably lower and the window quality and warranty was equal to or better than the Big Box Stores. So we took a chance. I'm pleased to say, they delivered as promised and beyond! We are extremely pleased and give The Window Source our highest recommendation. We also found the office staff courteous, helpful and professional.

I called to make an appointment for someone to come out and give me a quote to replace my windows,…read moreand although it was a week or more out, I was hopeful. The salesman Adrian Salazar called me the morning of the appointment to make sure I was still wanting him to come out, which I always appreciate a heads-up. And of course I was, I had lots of bugs coming in through the old original windows in my house I had recently moved into. Adrian was very personable, and full of information that I was seeking, in order to make sure all my needs were met. He quickly measured and gave me an estimate (at my urging because of those bugs!) I didn't even need to think about it, the product looked amazing, and with SO many choices. I loved the aluminum "capping" in a choice of colors for the exterior, with the interior being nice and white. I might point out that I got the 9000 series because the glass area size is greater, with a thinner vinyl frame, and I want all the glass I can get for that natural light! Adrian warned me that the email with the timeframe would be way out in the future, but it wouldn't really be that long. To say the least, when I got a phone call from Eric Rice the Project Manager saying my windows were ready, I was in shock! It had only been 25 days since that appointment with Adrian! And better yet, Eric asked if I could have them come the next day "or is that too short of notice?", my answer was a resounding not too short of notice, but yes, please. I might add that Eric also answered my myriad of questions because I wanted to make sure I had the house completely ready to get those windows installed. The next morning Marcelo and his crew started right away and knocked it out, working the entire day, even through the rain. And the results are wonderful. I absolutely love the aluminum capping which they form to the exact profile of your window trim, complete with mitered corners. They also use matching colored caulk, so that the gorgeous trim is seamless. Another great thing about these windows is the locking mechanisms on them, since they are low-profile and have a smooth feel to them. These 9000 series windows also have super smooth operating lifts in the sides, so they're easy to raise and lower both sashes and they also both tilt-in for cleaning. I only have wonderful things to say about this company and have never had such a positive experience with any type of home repair or renovation company.

STAY AWAY: A $10k+ Lesson in Amateurism and Deceit…read more 1 star because you can't give ZERO If you are looking for professional "black windows," do not buy from Champion. My experience, which began on July 23, 2025, has been a six-month masterclass in poor craftsmanship, logistical failure, and utter disrespect for the customer. The "Premium" Black Window Scam I was very explicit during the sales process: I wanted a true black exterior. I paid extra for this "upgrade." What I received was an embarrassment. * The "Spray-Paint" Finish: These aren't manufactured black; they appear to be white windows haphazardly sprayed black. Upon delivery, the frames were covered in scratches with white plastic peeking through. There was even black paint overspray on the glass. * White Channels: Champion fails to disclose that the sliding channels remain stark white. From the street, you see a black frame with a cheap white stripe down the sides, top and bottom. It looks like a DIY aftermarket paint job, not a professional product. * The "Fix": Their service team suggested spray painting the white channels--which would obviously rub off the first time the window is opened. Incompetent Installation & Measurement Out of four windows, one was under-measured by a staggering 2.25 inches in both directions. Champion's own tolerance is 1/4 inch. To "fix" it, the installers literally propped the unit up on a 2x4. This massive error delayed my entire siding and painting schedule for months. One photo even shows an exposed nail holding the trim on--zero attention to detail or safety. The Screen Saga (7/23/25 - 1/31/26 and counting) * Sept 9: Original install. No screens provided. * Nov 7: Re-install appointment. No-show. * Nov 21: Window replaced, but screens arrived in white. * Dec - Jan: I have called weekly. Every 30-minute call requires me to re-explain the entire history because their internal notes are a mess. Every time, I am told "it's on the next truck." It is now January 31, 2026, and I still do not have the screens I paid for in July. Zero Accountability I have never received an apology. Field reps are flippant and rude. Management is "always in a meeting" and never returns calls. They have your money, so they simply stop caring. Bottom Line: Champion is selling a lie. Their "black windows" are a cheap, painted imitation of a premium product, and their customer service is non-existent. Go with a competitor; literally anyone else would be better than this.

Then he gave his "senior sales rep" price of $46,000 IF and only if we signed that day. If we didn't sign, and came back a couple days later the price would be $60,000. Keep in mind - this was with their current "buy two get two free." 33 windows. Do the math. We told him no. His attitude changed and he was not at all happy and wanted to keep pressuring us. Several days later I received a text from another champion rep that was willing to offer us even more discounts. Our experience was very much like buying a used car. Save yourself 2.5 hours.
