I was in the neighborhood. This place was right next-door to a chiropractor's office, so I figured that they were legit. Nope! I go in, and I paid the $60 for the massage, and immediately I was asked if I wanted "boom boom". nope! I wanted a legit massage, with none of the "extra stuff" I said no thank you, asked for my money back, which she gave me, (I guess she was afraid I would make a scene, which I would have, ) and I left. I later called the chiropractor's office, so they would know exactly who their neighbors are, and wouldn't refer people over there. They said that they were pretty sure of the fact, already, but thanked me for letting them know. I also reported them to the Folsom PD. Hopefully, they will get shut down. Stay away. read more

Well, I had no idea it had changed ownership, booked a 90 minute massage for my birthday, got there and was like oh no.... This does not look right :( it wasn't- I had to pay before I even got my massage, and not a good affordable price... but, I wanted to treat myself, so figured I'd still try it... nope, not consistent, and very pushy on my way out. I've been a customer for years with both previous and new owners. Perhaps a bit bumpy as they were reopening under new management however I've regularly been getting deep tissue from them several times a month with great experience each time since then. And, it can be hard to find someone that can really give a deep tissue massage well so appreciate them being local. read more

Would not recommend this place. I went in for a combo foot and body massage for 90mins. The lady that I got seem to not know what she was doing. She's not consistent with the massage. She does one thing on the left and does something else on the other side. She keeps stepping in and out of the room during the massage. Don't waste your time and money. I've been religiously coming here for the last 4 years. Prices and services has always been amazing. I haven't been in since new ownership took over and do not think i will be. I called for pricing as they dont have a website anymore and she kept asking what time instead of giving a price. When i asked how much couple massages would be she said we can't do that today. i do recommend after having a hard time finding a decent massage place since moving from mountain view . i do not understand the leg dropping or the pounding at randomn places on your body . you get all relaxed then at the end they lift and drop your legs , then they randomnly pound on you. it feels insulting and don't know how to say don't do that in the asian language they speak , anyone know? i don't like that technique. read more

Being new to the area, I had been searching for affordable foot massage places and skilled and seasoned therapists with decades under their belt and am happy to write that I finally found my happy place! I highly recommend Jerry at Eastern Foot & Body Massage! A 1-hr foot massage (with some light body massage) is only $40 and since I received a much better massage from Jerry than the 90-minute massage at a place in Prairie Oaks, I tipped him a $20. Jerry's been with Eastern F&B for about 8 years and likely the most senior therapist in the place. He's gray haired like me and clearly knows physiology and pressure points. For the entire session, he's fully focused on your body and committed to circulation, massage, and healing. So no need for me to look further as I'll be returning every month! : ) The location: so easy to get to - its just to the left of Raley's and to the right of a tax office. Easy parking right in front, very convenient. The facilities are neat and clean, and unlike most foot massage places, you actually get a room of your own. Don't worry, the walls stop about foot from the ceiling so you get plenty of air circulation. The foot bath temperature was perfect, and the background spa music was soft and tasteful. I especially appreciate the warm blankets and soft, cushy massage beds and face pillow, and how they've incorporated placing a cloth over your eyes during the massage. Me and my husband used to come here often, and always had great experiences. We did a couples massage, they were late and therefore it reduced the time of our 90 minute massage, and they didn't make up the time. Each time somebody walked into the store my husbands masseuse would leave to greet them (this happened a handful of times without pre-warning) - my masseuse had no idea what they were doing, they both were speaking to each other the whole time so it wasn't peaceful, it was hot in our room so they brought in a fan, then they were upset that we didn't have cash, then told us we needed to tip 20% because it was a 90 minute massage (this was not indicated anywhere) and then they calculated a 22% tip... easy to say we will not be going there again. Terrible experience and I regret not saying something/paying a smaller tip based on the service but we just wanted to get out of there. Safe to say, I do not recommend. read more

I have been coming here regularly, and I am never disappointed with the service that I receive. I always get a great massage with hot stones for a great price, and I plan on coming back regularly for more. I usually do the foot massage combo.. sometimes just the foot massage. Let me explain the difference. The combo is 30 minutes foot and head massage. Then you turn over, remove your shirt and receive a 30 minute back, shoulder, and neck massage with hot stones. When you get just the foot massage, it's a 30 minute foot and head massage, then you turn over, while remaining fully clothed (only socks and shoes off). In the non-combo massage, they stretch your muscles and massage you without the need to remove your clothes. Just a side note, one of the things they do is to cover your eyes with a towel. I usually have the same masseuse who remembers that during my 30 minute foot massage portion that I like to be on my phone () and she now abstains from putting the towel over my eyes because she remembers that. It's a minor feature that I really appreciate. Also shows that I may be one of her regulars. I will remember to request her next time for this reason. However, if you're not big on the foot massage portion, I highly recommend their 1 hour body massage. It is relaxing, refreshing and they also use hot stones, which I really like. Appointments are necessary with them, so just call in advance and get one. read more

My friend took me here for my birthday to get a couple's massage. Nothing says friendship like getting naked together! The room was peaceful. Relaxing music was playing. The blanket was soft and comfy. My masseuse was polite and really knew how to get those knots in my back. We both did the hot stone massage. It was really good. I was in desperate need of a massage but didn't want to spend much. I have never tried reflexology but love getting my feet massage because I stand at work for most of my day. I opted for the combo, 30 mins feet reflexology and 30 mins neck/back/shoulders. I got there a few minutes early. I was promptly taken back at 5. Oh, I also called same day around 2pm for the appointment and got booked for 5pm with a male therapist. I made sure to wear shorts, don't worry they will soak your feet in water before beginning. She let me know he would start with my feet first. There are signs in the room not to talk. After he was done with my feet, he asked me to sit up. He prepped the table and left the room to let me take my shirt off and lay face down. Now I wasn't sure if I should keep my bra on (which I did). When he came back he did some compressions and asked me to remove my bra straps (I should have known I needed to do that, duh!). I was face down and never had to expose myself. I was very comfortable. He used hot stones which were a very pleasant surprise!!! My session was $35!!!!! This isn't a posh spa and they speak English but they are Asian. I would have given 5 stars if he would have gotten the knots out of my shoulders/traps but honestly I would have needed a longer session and prob deeper pressure. They didn't try to up sell me on time, but if he would have asked me to extend so he could work those knots out I definitely would have. Don't expect to have a conversation with the therapists (which is nice!). read more

I love the one hour foot massage here! They do a head to toe massage for $20. It's awesome! They always ask how hot I want the water for my feet. Always ask if the pressure is ok for the massage, etc. The place is very clean, relaxing and I've fallen asleep a couple of times. (I've been here more than 10 times, since they opened). I like the fact that the massage tables are 2 per room, instead of 20 per the room at another location. I hate hearing others snore.. Zzzz Very polite employees. I always recommend them to friends. I love this place! Got the foot massage/reflexology for $35. You don't undress. You lie down and your legs hang off the table into warm water while your arms and hands are massaged. Then your feet are dried and a second table is pulled up to rest your legs on. Your feet and shins are massaged. Then you turn over and your neck, shoulders and backs of arms are massaged, as well as your calves. After that, your muscles are stretched (over your clothes and a thin blanket). The only con is that the walls are short and thin so if some fools speaking to a friend or therapist without the construction of the rooms in mind the other patrons suffer.
