I went into this place to take advantage of the CraigsList special they advertised, which I had referenced when I made my appointment. A lady named Anna was my masseuse, and it was clear she was not the owner. She said there was no Craigslist special, that is was over, and I told her I had booked it that way AND the ad was just placed that same day. She reluctantly agreed.
Then when the massage started, she was just spreading oil around, not massaging. I asked her if she could do harder and she said "You bought craigslist special, no deep tissue!". So I reached to the table and paid the extra to pay full price so I could salvage the massage. Then she saw that I only had two dollars sitting outside of my wallet (I had more in my wallet), she said "oh, so now you're only going to tip me $2?". I told her no, don't worry about the tip. I would give her a good tip for a good massage.
She wouldn't leave the topic alone though. She whispered in my ear "I give you good massage for big tip, ok?". I said OK, just give me the massage please. She went back and forth between spreading oil and some good deep tissue work with her elbows. She saw my gold chain and said I'm rich. I told her I'm not and didn't say anything else, because I just wanted to enjoy the massage. Then she asked if I'm single or married, and started telling me how pretty my eyes and nose are and that I'm very handsome. Then she was playing with my leg and chest hair and tickling my feet, and she kept continuously staring deeply into my eyes to the point that I was uncomfortable, and guys like it when girls stare at them! Was this really happening? And in case you are wondering, perhaps excitedly, I don't think this was an invitation for a happy ending, I think she was just downright weird, and perhaps this was her way of trying to beef up the tip, which it seems was her only objective.
During the massage, she left the room FIVE times to go answer the front door (a bell would ring every time someone walked in) or to answer the phone. Each time, she had a couple minutes conversation. This was during my massage. Finally I was frustrated and when she came back one of the times I said "where did you go?" and instead of apologizing, she just mocked me by saying the same thing back in a sarcastic tone.
Towards the end, she was only staring at the clock. She was also explaining to me that when a waitress at a restaurant gets a tip, they only have to drop off food, but she has to massage for an hour to get a tip, and that most men tip her 50% for massages. She wouldn't leave the tip topic alone, and I'm sure she also pocketed the extra massage money I gave her as a tip as well. She wouldn't let me just enjoy the massage, it felt like a timeshare presentation instead.
She wrapped up the massage at the 45 minute mark instead of at 60 minutes, and I was in no mood to argue, I just wanted to get the hell out of there. Plus, my 45 minute massage was interrupted by about 10 minutes of her checking on phone calls and walk-in clients. Plus I had to give her a big tip because I was worried about her harassing me and I didn't want to deal with her anymore.
