I came here because most reviews seemed good; however this was the worst massage experience I've ever had. When I called to book, the lady was friendly. When I arrived, the entire plaza was dark and only a lady that was doing the massage was inside.
The building had no AC on and it was very hot. They do not take cards and I had to walk to an atm to get cash. (Was not told this on the phone). You have to pay PRIOR to having the massage, which is strange. Also, when I paid, the woman tried to keep the change of my payment I kept asking and finally she reluctantly gave me my $10 change.
The massage itself wasn't relaxing. She was either barely touching me or digging her elbow into my back. Which is sore and bruised now. She also moved her hands extremely fast and it was not relaxing, I tried asking her to do things differently many times but she could not understand a single word of what I was saying. My only problem with this is that I don't think someone should be performing a service that involves some sort of communication if they cannot communicate at all due to a language barrier. I have never experienced this so severely before where even just saying "too hard" was not understood. She also pulled the privacy sheet all the way off for the whole massage and had me completely exposed, NOT relaxing.
It was clear from the massage and lack of attention to comfort of the client that this person was not a licensed masseuse, nor an experienced one. Definitely NOT worth $60+ per hour! (And that's just the combo price). You can see a licensed therapist for just a small amount more.
Finally, when I was leaving, she sticks out her hand for a tip. Which I was not happy about leaving due to the poor service and expensive price. I hand over something anyway because I'm a pushover and she laughs and says to me "no, no, for 1 hour massage a charge at least $20 tip." What?!! First of all, I was surprised because this was the most communication I had heard so far. Second, a tip is not a "charge," it's left at the persons discretion! To think people are coming here and they sneak attack everyone with a required minimum tip is ridiculous. I said no and she said, "ok this tip is fine for this time."
There is ZERO chance I will ever be back and I urge you not to support a business with such shady tactics and poor service. You will be out the same price you would have paid for a great massage with a licensed therapist and be in pain the next day like I am! read more
