His office was the only office to discover my mother's Thyroid cancer by doing those tests you say are unnecessary. NO ONE else found my mother cancers and he caught it early my mother was treated with iodine pill and survived. As for me Dr Kaplowitz found things with me that a lot of other Dr didn't find and due to him finally finding what was wrong I got the proper treatmwnt. I have been misdiagnosed for so many years until I got to him. He discovered I have chrons when I was been treating for Fibromyalgia which I don't have. My heart conditim he found were I was being told it was anxiety. Those unnecessary tests those other patients wrote about let's see when cancer pops up and when other Doctors will find it. It will be too late. I put my life in the hands of Dr Kaplowitz anytime.

The office manager told me she'd let me die before she'd allow me to see the doctor if I didn't have an insurance card & photo id on hand. What type of medical professional tells that to a patient coughing up blood? The only bright spot was the polite & sympathetic receptionist who told me I should go to the emergency room. I was shocked and disgusted by this office supervisors behavior. You can tell she hates her job & life.

Nevertheless I have steadily become more disabled and can no longer navigate easily the stairs, nor the narrow accommodations inside, with nothing more inconvenient than a rollator I must push around in front of me when outside. Inside, to be sure I can use simply a cane. But walking forward in any kind of traffic is just impossible for me. In addition, her office itself is typically so crowded and behind in schedule that one day, I'm sure at least a year now since I have seen her, I was waiting with my health aide for a good 3 hrs. before being seen at all. This is not to be taken lightly by anybody, especially when my aide must obey a pre-set schedule under terms set forth by Medicaid. Otherwise I am grateful for having had the experience of one of the warmest, combined with quite knowledgeable, gyn's I have ever known, who still welcomes pts. on Medicare and Mdcd in her office. One more thing: her hours of operation are very extensive, and there should be a time for anybody to fit themselves in at any time, even at relatively short notice. I have never found the staff members, including ones at the desk, to be anything but friendly and accommodating, with careful attention to what they are doing, without for example, accidentally taking your Medicaid card until after you are home and you yourself discover it! (Then what?????)

Waiting rm is dirty and would nit stand up to any health dept inspections with out some "pinka pinka" exchanges ;-) The staff is friendly and seemingly efficient for what I needed then to do bit I would dread having this specialist as anything moe than a prep op clearance.

I had to visit with my 10 month old son who has been having ear problems…read more The wait was a while (approximately 50-60 minutes) and I had to wait with my 3 year old too. Both were really bored which was wierd as there were no children books or even toys for them to play with. And he is apparently one of the best pediatric ENT Drs. He did have a lot of patients there hence the wait but he didn't take a long time with each one which was great. WHen you see the patients moving it makes the wait time shorter. Once we got in he was very clear and fast. He was gentle with the baby and told us exactly what the issue is and what we can do to try and heal it. He seems very slow to surgery and procedures which I loved and he gave us several tips to try make my baby feel better. Many people told me he does not speak clearly but he speaks perfectly albeit with an accent. I would definitely recommend him. Cons of note: - Longish wait - No toys or children books in waiting room - Outdated equipment and decor (old tools etc).

Dr. Pellegrini is one of the few doctors who will sit with you and discuss why he is ordering particular tests, explain what the results are, and then discusses with you courses of treatment, providing you with information to help you make your own informed decision regarding your treatment. At first I thought that Dr. Pellegrini was one of those physicians who orders a million tests and referrals just to assist his "friend" physicians, but he is really trying to do everything possible to find out what is wrong with his patients and refer them to the appropriate specialist. His staff is friendly and they have gotten better as time has gone on, the patient flow in the office is much better.

You tell me, where do you find such a kind caring man with his medical credentials in this day and age in the medical system? You don't! Dr Lee surrounds himself with only kind caring staff as well. I am speaking about his Long Island Office which is where I see him. I cannot imagine any of his other offices being any different. I know my health issues are going to take time to find healing and I am grateful that Dr Lee is going to take that healing journey along with me, I feel like I am in good hands ...
