One of the two places to grab a bite to eat at June Mountain…read more Quick and friendly service. The food is great for how quickly they need to keep serving everyone. The philly cheesesteak and fries were a sizable portion for the price on the mountain. If you are willing to splurge a little get yourself an ice cream cookie sandwich. that was one of the best treats i had on the mountain!

Consistent over the years.. wonderful customer service, clean, comfy, and modern with dog friendly rooms. Pet rules: two dogs max. $20 x dog per night (3rd night they stay for free. yay!) The small things like having soft plush towels, Mrs. Meyers hand/dish soap and kitchen stocked with cooking oil, spices, and ground coffee is a big plus. Kyle and Krissy are always friendly and responsive over email. We stayed in few different rooms and the cabins here and you can't go wrong with any them. perfect spot. Long wide runs and friendly staff. The only way up is the two seater chair lift..it can be scary, but you don't have to strap in, so it takes off the anxiety of getting off the chair lift on top. Chair J6 is the easiest to get on and off the lift. It slows down a bit on top with a low incline. There are some flat areas on this run, so keep your speed or you're have to shimmy or walk until you get to an inclined. J2 is a two-seater. It lifts up and turns quickly, so make sure to unload as soon as you're on top. Especially for shorter people, the chair lifts up and can knock off your balance.

I was a little nervous about staying due to the negative reviews... but we had fantastic time! We…read morewere able to check-in early, and our cabin (5) was clean, the bed was super comfortable, and it was stocked with any kitchen item you might need! The grounds are beautiful! The creek that runs through the resort, as well as the little pond were beautiful. We never used the gym or spa, but briefly walked through and it looked very nice! It is for sure an older funkier place, that's part of the charm.

AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU EXPECT CLEANLINESS, SAFETY, OR CUSTOMER SERVICE…read more We made reservations months in advance for my son's wedding and trusted that our accommodations would be ready and suitable for guests. Upon arrival, we were placed in a dog-friendly cabin with two beds. After unloading and preparing for bed, we immediately noticed a strong unpleasant odor and carpet that did not feel clean or appropriate for a guest room. Within the first 45 minutes of being there, my wife was bitten by what appeared to be a spider. She became distressed and wanted to leave immediately. At the same time, the area around the cabin was overwhelmed with unusually large mosquitoes, making it impossible to relax or feel comfortable. The window screens were broken or missing. We reported the situation to the front desk and explained that we had no choice but to leave. Instead of enjoying a once-in-a-lifetime family event, we ended up driving 6 hours back home so my wife could recover. Because of this experience, our entire trip was disrupted. We had to rearrange plans, absorb additional travel time and expenses, and later make another trip just to attend our son's wedding. The most disappointing part was the complete lack of follow-up and accountability. We were told multiple times that a manager would contact us and discuss a resolution. That never happened. No phone call. No concern. No refund. We stayed less than 45 minutes and left because we did not feel the cabin was clean, safe, or acceptable. Yet it cost us $2k with nor refund. I will not stop here and will follow up with and attorney to get my money back. I should have read the reviews of spider webs just like to ones behind the bed. Very disappointing experience.

Stayed here for 2 nights over Labor Day weekend at site #10…read more The site has a fire pit, picnic table, and bear box. The sites all seemed to be on the smaller, cramped side and a bit dusty, but overall clean. Deer liked hanging around the campsites as did the wasps. The single occupancy flush toilets were clean and in good condition despite a busy weekend. They had a cleaning chart on the door so people came in frequently to clean it. Good campground near Gull Lake and June Lake if you don't mind a smaller site!

The good: nice big tables, good fire ring, easy access to water and clean restrooms. Area is pretty, and it's close to the lake. The host is very friendly and informative, and sells fire wood. The bear boxes are big and work well. Sites have pull through parking, so it's very easy to park. Most of the sites have decent shade in the daytime. Short walk to gull lake. The bad: sites are not private at all. Sitting in my site, I can see directly into no fewer than 9 other sites. It's also right off the June Lake Loop, which means cars are very audible at all hours. I was also awakened this morning by a helicopter flying very low at 7 am. It has continued running laps all day. The host informed me that they're replacing power poles with more sturdy ones. This is a good thing, but not for campers in 2020! Be warned. Overall, with the exception of the helicopters, this campground is fine. I'm giving it 4 stars because I really can't hold the helicopter noise against the campground.
