SUPER BARE BONES. I often find myself flying out out Houston but on a recent trip, i got lazy so Easterwood it was! TSA closes during the middle of the day of there is no flight. I arrived at 5:20 for my 6:20 flight and still had to wait around before being able to go to security. There is a restaurant on the campus (Gate 12) but there is *no way* to connect to it from outside or past security. Similarly, the Stella is about 5 min away so incredibly convenient once your check your bag & need to wait, but no shuttle or way to get there. Both seem like significant missed opportunities to support local businesses & give folks waiting something to do. Once past security, there a convenience store which basically just sells sweets and sugary treats. If you're flying out of here, you're likely on one of the 3 flights in/out of CS. Wait as long as you can to go to the airport, or bring some games.

I was in town for a wedding and decided to fly out of Easterwood instead of driving down to Houston. Both had a layover in Dallas and Easterwood was just down the road. This is a very small airport with only 2 gates. There is no need to show up early here. You literally get your ticket and walk right through TSA. Everyone I dealt with was super nice and patient. The have a small concession stand inside the airport that actually has a good amount of food and drink options. The place was very clean and everyone was super professional. Would be open to using again in the future.

Flew into here when I was in College Station for my short course. I had no problems with the airport, it's very small with only two gates and a waiting area that can seat at most fifty people. TSA was quick and efficient. Cafe was outside of the TSA area, so be cautious of that.

It's 1:30 in the morning and they only have one person unloading luggage off the plane. This place sucks donkey balls. Do better.

TSA was pleasant and walked this old Libertarian thru the process. Couldn't have asked for more.

3 hour delays, no good food, lack of anything to do... definitely the worst airport that I've been to.

Tried the ice cream and the tables in the middle of the airport were so clean. The bathrooms were clean too. I like that (at least at the gates I was at) that this airport was not too big, also was not too small. However lots of eateries' booths to choose from. I will choose to transit here again.

Overall, still a great, but expensive, City. But, I'm lowering my score for the airport because, quite candidly, this airport is pretty pathetic for a City that prides itself as being a tech hub, forward thinking, and all things geared toward being a "wow" City. Tech hub? I'm at gate 30 awaiting departure and there are exactly 6 plugs to do computer work at gate between gates 29, 30, 31, and 32. See photos. There are literally 300 to 400 seats for these four gates. Your other option is to sit on the floor with your back to one of the support columns to charge your laptop while you have it on your floor to work. Not exactly efficient. Ridiculous really. I know they're in the midst of an airport expansion, and renovation, but it should never have gotten to such a crappy outdated, behind the times situation in my opinion. Whoever is running this airport is at least 10 or 15 years behind the times in various respects. I will say that if you have TSA pre-check and CLEAR you can usually move through security very quickly. But, If you don't have TSA pre-check or don't get TSA pre-check on a given flight, the lines are extremely long, especially early in the morning. Come really early!

In the lower gate A numbers (A1-A15) they now have 2 new eating restaurants. In addition to the Breakfast Klub (southern breakfast/brunch food), they now have Simone Biles Taste of Gold (American, cocktails) & El Tiempo Cantina (Mexican, cocktails). I'm pretty sure they changed out a few of the fast food restaurants but I honestly didn't look at those. They had live music in the center near Breakfast Klub, in the area they call "Symphony in the Air". The live saxophonist & drummer sounded really great. Another change was the exit to baggage claim. It was surprisingly a much longer walk! From the lower A gates you now must walk all the way around toward the higher gates to get to the baggage claim exit. Its about a 5 min walk to get to the baggage exit/escalators. During this walk through the connector hallway of the lower & higher A gates, there is an Art display area called "Houston Airport Artist in Residence (AIR)". The display from local artist is wonderful to see. The enhancements for terminal A are good. Previously, it always felt like one of the more neglected terminals. I know IAH still has a lot of construction underway. I look forward to seeing additional airport improvements.
