Not in the mood to cook my family chose the take out option. We had never been to village pizza but decided to give it a try. A small and a large steak and cheese and a large meatball grinder completed our order. It's a out of the way type of place tucked in a building with numerous shops. Staff was very friendly. I was impressed with the sheer amount of food for the price. The large grinder was huge! The rolls were chewy and fresh and the meatballs were tasty with just the right amount of sauce, cheese, peppers and onion. Steak and cheese was right on point. Wow. Just wow. We wanted to try something new and today is national deep dish pizza day so I yelped deep dish pizza near me. I don't know what qualifies something as deep dish but this pizza was PHENOMENAL! As a non certified pizza expert I would say the pizza was in-between thin crust and deep dish. Thicker than average. We got a large pesto, spinach, and broccoli and a large pineapple. I can't stress this enough ... I eat A LOT of pizza all over Massachusetts. This pizza is up there. I had to write this review because of all the negative reviews that I've seen here and most of these reviews are from several years ago. Ok, one would never mistake this place for eating at the Ritz, it isn't as nearly as bad as what others are listing here. I don't find it 'bad' at all. It has decent decorations inside , free Wi-Fi, plentiful seating, and decent tasty food. The cashier was very helpful and delivered our food to our table and unsolicited told us that the restaurant featured free Wi-Fi and gave us the password. The last time we ate there we had grinders and an order of buffalo wings. My Parmesan chicken grinder was good and had plenty of sauce it was so big. and I'm talking about the 'small' (8") size that I had trouble finishing it. My friend had the meatball grinder of the same size and enjoyed it as well. As for the buffalo wings we both agree that they were the best that we had had in all of Easthampton. And they did not seem to be frozen which you sometimes can spot with buffalo wings when the bones are kind of dark red. Never had a bad meal here.I have severe reverence for pizza- from Neapolitan style to NYC thin crust to Chicago deep dish, etc. One thing I never realized growing up is that Village is 'greek style'. Square cut, circular pies. The crust is perfectly crisp pan-pizza style. Buttery/oily but not in a bad way whatsoever. The sauce is incredible. Not quite too sweet, not quite too spicy, but never astringent or sharp like the vast majority of pizza sauce here in Easthampton) I ALWAYS get sausage pizza. I've had pepperoni and also plain cheese, but honest to god nothing compares to the sausage they use. I haven't gone out of my way to infiltrate their suppliers to find out where they get it, but damn... it's on point. read more

This has oddly become my favorite place to get Pizza in Eaho. The flavors are good, the crust is tasty, and not as dry as other places (I'm lookin' at you, Antonios.) The toppings are all amazing. (My favorite right now is their eggplant. SO good.) Delivery is quick, and the folks are always really nice. Prices are about what you'd expect. The menu has a good amount of selection. Don't bother. Go to Papa George's or Antonio's. They have the trashy easthampton attitude. Very rude on the phone or in person. It will take you at least 60 minutes for them to deliver your cold food and i live 10 minutes from them. Good food. Bad service. I ordered a grinder today and it was not made the way I ordered it. Also he handed me the reciept I needed to sign then walked away with the only pen so I was left standing there...He came back a couple minutes later looking like I was an idiot for still standing there and I said "Can I get that pen? Let me premise this review by saying I only get pepperoni or plain cheese pizza from them so I can't comment on other toppings. This pizza is fantastic. I eat pizza probably 4-5 times per week from many different places. I find that I need different kinds as I do eat pizza very often. They are a little out of the way as far as route 91 goes so I would assume that 95% of their business is from easthmapton only. But if your in the area and find yourself craving a greek style pizza then this is your place. read more
