This is a fun and quirky pizza place. We came here while on vacation nearby after receiving reviews from friends and were not disappointed. Despite arriving on a Saturday (during a holiday weekend) at lunch, only one other table was taken. We ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza; Buffalo wings and fries; and chicken nuggets and fries for our kid. Food came up within about 10-15 minutes. The wings/fries were first and were fantastic though unlike wings I have ever had. They appeared breaded and coated in a seasoning spice mixture that was pleasant though not hot (and certainly not reminiscent of Buffalo, NY, where wings come from). The mountain of freezer fries were perfectly crispy and lots of ketchup in serving-size cups were provided. The chicken nuggets were clearly from a bag and strongly reminded me of the white/dark meat nuggets from McDonalds from when I was a kid. Again lots of fries too. The pizza arrived a few minutes later and was huge. And different. A slice was practically a whole pizza and there was lots of pepperoni on it. The sauce was thick and a bit sweet. The crust varied from thin to thick but in all places were very crunchy... like a cracker. I loved it, but my wife not so much. The price for everything including several $2 bottles of water was $38. That isn't out of line for the amount of food you get, but the breakdown was weird. The pizza was $7 and that was a tremendous bargain. The children's nuggets and fries was $4 and I wonder how they can afford that. The 15 wings/fries was $23, and that seemed like an awful lot. But... taken together it was fair. In the future I might just pig out on pizza and leave the wings/fries alone. My wife liked the wings more though, so... The staff were super friendly, including Tony Liquori in his trademark skipper hat. The restaurant was "clean" but dive-bar like, with bric-a-brac all over the place. Fun and filling are the two best adjectives I can think of, and I can't wait to return! read more

Boss gave me the ok to order pizza for the workgroup tonight so jumped on yelp to find a high rated pizza shop. Found Liquori's to be one of most reviewed and higher rated pizza joints in the area so gave them the business. Called in the order, gentleman who picked up the phone wasn't the most friendly. Not knowing there is more than one business there by the sounds of it he got frustrated and kept repeating himself. After I figured it out and placed for delivery for the end of my shift I just waited. The delivery guy was early which was nice. I was able to feed some of the guys who wrapped up their area first some food. I didn't get a chance to eat it until an hour after delivery which by then it was cold. But I asked the crew their thoughts and majority of them enjoyed it. One said too much dough, another said not enough cheese and or sauce. When I opened the pizza boxes they looked as delicious as the other yelp pictures. I will swing by their shop one day to try their single slices but until then I give them the benefit of the doubt that it's a good pizza when fresh and hot read more

The dough is very thick and chewy, not my favorite but maybe you like it that way. You get a lot for your money.

The dough and cheese isn't high quality, but the big portions make up for it. A "slice" is really about 4-5 slices. Toppings aren't amazing but are good. Owner is a great genuine guy. I've never had the pizza here until recently. I stopped in for my first "slice" and was impressed. The portion is huge, you get your money's worth and more! The food came out piping hot which is one of the things I look for in great food. After tasting the pizza I was not disappointed. The sauce was surprisingly tasty and the crust was perfect in my opinion. Tony is always super friendly and definitely makes you feel welcome. Some of the walls are loaded with shelves full of "penny candy" so anyone with a sweet tooth is sure to find something they are looking for. This place is legendary for portion size and price! We don't live close enough to go very often but whenever we are in the area it's a great choice for value, no one can deny that. They have a 2 dinners for $18 choice where you get a huge entree with a garden salad and garlic bread! The portion size is enough for 2 or 3 average eaters! Their pizza slices are legendary for their size! If you want the best food you'll ever eat then you might want to go somewhere else and pay 3 times as much for your dinner. They tend to get busy at dinner time, but they do a good job keeping up with all the orders. The food here is good not the best you will ever eat but are getting more than what you paid for! The inside of the restaurant is neatly decorated with Knick knacks and pictures! It has a neat vibe to it. Funky nice little place that has been in business for 32 years per the staff. Unbelievably large servings of Pizza for just $3.50+ per serving depending on what you get. I went here with a few friends last week for the first time. We all got a slice of pizza. The slices of pizza that you pay around $4 is actually like six slices of pizza. This place is so cheap for all the food you get. The service was okay. There were two teenage boys I'm assuming who took the orders and they weren't very friendly at all. They just wanted to get to the point and that's it. However, the owner I'm assuming was the total opposite. He was so nice. The pizza was good. My favorite pizza place. They have ridiculously large portions and the prices are unbelievable for what you get. The white sauce they use for their pizzas is better than any white sauce pizza I've had elsewhere. When you need to feed an army for cheap, and that army wants decent quality food, this is the only place I can recommend. read more

All the reviews you've read regarding pizza size by the slice are absolutely true, it's a monster almost a half of a 14" pie is Liquori's take on a slice. It was my first time and I ordered a cheese with sausage slice, paid $3.25 incl. tax and was more than pleased with the results. It was a thin, crispy bottom pie with very good sauce, cheese and a sausage topping and enough to feed two people for lunch. I used to live in Western MA so when I came back for the weekend this was the only place I wanted to order from. Because I was babysitting my niece and nephew I decided to order online with their new feature. I placed my order at 4:48pm and realized at 6:00pm according to their website they were suppose to arrive at 5:55pm. The fine print in the email said "if you're a first time orderer via the website you have to call to confirm." As annoyed as I was that there wasn't an alert sent to my phone or a separate email to tell me this I called. My order wasn't even sent to Liquori's. The third party finally sends it at 6:00pm...I call Liquori's at 730pm, and they say "oh we got your order and are making it now, but we have no driver." Frustrated I beg my nephew to watch his sister while I trek down to Liquori's for a pick up. I pay, and wait FIFTEEN MINUTES! I'm trying to sneak a peek to see if they are making it...then I see one person turn and reach up to the boxes that have been sitting on top of the oven and grab it, call out my name, and hand it to me. "Oh your order was under a number not a name." WHAT! I just wasted FIFTEEN MINUTES!!!! I was livid. When I get home to "enjoy" the bbq chicken, bacon, and meatlovers slices I ordered then only pizza worth eating was the bacon. This place has gone downhill since when I lived in Western MA, and I will order pizza from somewhere else next time. I'm completely and utterly disappointed. read more

Never heard of these guys until I found them on yelp this evening in search for good pizza in the West Springfield area. We called at 8:50 pm on a Sunday to see if we could grab take out but first inquiring what time they closed, since we were new to the place. They told us they closed at 9 but they encouraged us to still place our take-out order with them and that it would be no problem they'd take care of us. Right off the bat it seemed to me the owner knew business and I appreciated that he was willing to make his customers happy. We picked up our food in 17 minutes and wow. We ordered a "Small" pizza that turned out to be the average large. Not the world's best pizza, a little too doughy for me, but if that's what you're into you'll love it. Still is much much better than some pizza joints. pretty good food, and A LOT of it, for the reasonable money! Some of the best wings at a pizza place in western MA. Baked and crunchy, not fried and soggy (They randomly come with seasoned fries, which I am indifferent to. Random, but thoughtful touch if wings are all you're ordering). All in all if you're looking to spend 10 to 20 bucks for a hearty down home dinner for two, this is the place. A thoughtfully run restaurant in West Springfield. You can tell they care about what they do over there at Liquori's Pizza. P.S All week they have a dinner special for 2 for 9$ that includes bread sticks and a salad. Can't beat it. read more

I stumbled on this family pizza place when in West Springfield on business. The healthiest pizza !! No grease in their crust !! It is a raised (yeast) dough, lots of veggies in their veggy slices, each "slice" is a quarter of a party size. 4 slices fill a party size box. I really like the crazy slices here. They're huge!! Honestly though not the best quality. I asked for extra cheese and it didn't look like it. The flavor's not that bad though.
