This was the best place I stayed during my recent Downeaster vacation ! The staff was very helpful and friendly ! The place was clean ! Breakfast and extra towels available ! Great price ! The room had a nice view of the yard . Close to activities . I really appreciated the extra pillows and that it was handicap accessible ! From the ramp in to the wonderful shower !! The shower was my favorite ! The best I've had in any hotel ! Thank you Eastland Motel ! I highly recommend and I will stay again when I'm in the area ! It took us a wile to find the fridge as it's in a cabinet ! lol but were were much happier when we found it !

It is very difficult to find accommodations in this area when the Pirate Festival is going on but I managed to find a room here. I was a bit sceptical after last years choice which was a bit smelly and uncomfortable. When I arrived very tired and hungry, I was warmly greeted and directed to a lovely dinner. The room was delightful clean and actually had all the amenities anyone would need. Very clean, neat and comfortable. Pleasantly surprised, also very quiet. Thank you so much for a much needed relaxing evening. Won't hesitate to return.

Perfect newly renovated motel to stay at. The rooms are warm and inviting. This place has all the amenities you would need for a couple night stay at a reasonable price. The lighthouse is located just 5mi down the road. The downtown area is a cute location that has a few shops and restaurants mostly open during the end of the week. Also just a short drive away from New Brunswick if you're looking to head to Campobello Island. In the morning fresh muffins are provided along with coffee and juice. Great place to stay within close range of attractions in the area.

My daughters and I were in town for a family gathering. As I checked in I was told that I had the pleasure of having the room with the shag carpet. The greeter, Elody was filling in for the owners for the evening and was very kind and welcoming. Although I hadn't stayed here in many years, I was a little worried about what I would find. My two adult daughters are expecting and I wanted to be certain our accommodations were comfortable. As it turned out, the room we were assigned # 20 was absolutely charming and immaculate! Anything we needed was available and more. A cot and fan were happily provided as well. All three of us found the room to be of ample space and again, clean as a whistle. I hope they keep that "70s" room and add additional 70s decor. I would book it every time. The owners and their friendly dog, Max were a joy. An impromptu conversation among strangers and the owners took place over excellent homemade muffins, fruit, yogurt and coffee. Don't pass this comfortable, clean and exceptionally well priced lodging option on your visit Downeast.

I was very pleased with out stay at the Eastland Motel. Large clean room, dog friendly, and very helpful staff. A short drive to Quoddy Head Lighthouse made it a great place stay so we could watch the sunrise before the rest of the USA.

    It's so cute here!

Take note, they might like dogs, but the claims of dog-friendliness are over-rated.

I've had many lobster rolls and this was def one of the best I've had. First of all it was huge. The lobster was in chunks it was not chopped up. It was perfectly seasoned with some mayo but not overpowering so you can truly savor the fresh lobster. It came with a bag of chips. To be honest I didn't care for them as the roll was the main event here. Initially I thought I couldn't finish it because it was so big but I was in lobster roll heaven and didn't stop eating until every bit of this lobster roll was gone. No regrets. Definitely the BEST lobster roll in Lubec. I have tried many and there is no doubt. After we ate we sat on one of the cute couches in the restaurant to have one drink and chat. Such a cozy vibe!

Luckily for us, the massive Station House--we surmise the former lifesaving station's dormitory--was available and offered at a not to be refused price. What fun to rattle around its many bedrooms and baths. Most memorable were the sweeping views across the Bay of Fundy north to Lubec and Campobello Island, and that evening's awe-inspiring sunset. You would do well to consider The Station House for family or friend reunion or small business retreats. We enjoyed West Quoddy Station so much that we decided to return for our 42nd wedding anniversary, but only if we could get the Crew's Quarters cabin, its views comparable to The Station House's with even greater privacy. Twice lucky! Given Crew's Quarters unassuming Downeast shingle exterior, we were nearly stunned and very impressed upon entering to discover possibly the most meticulously constructed Post and Beam home in my thirty years selling Downeast real estate. Talk about overbuilt! Every cedar beam heftier, every plank and floor board wider than required, all carefully joined. No place for sheetrock in Crew's Quarters: instead every wall built of wide cedar planks pleasingly laid diagonally. Plus a fully vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. And those views of the blue Bay of Fundy, even bluer skies from bedrooms, living, and dining rooms, and Crew's Quarters spacious deck. We, our friends, and their aging golden service dog, Brigid, were very comfortable. The weather being fine, we spent most of our time relaxing and dining on the deck. Everything worked fine in the shared bathroom, towels were thick. The kitchen wasn't gourmet-worthy, but the toaster took a split bagel and the vintage Mr. Coffee worked. There's a pot for boiling lobster, if you must. Had the weather turned cold--as it can, quickly--we would have been grateful for the propane "woodstove" and large Rinnaii heater. We did way better than survive. We'll be back! P.S. West Quoddy Station is a dozen minutes from the International Bridge to Campobello Island, a few minutes more to the auto and bike ferry to Deer Island, itself worth a day's touring. Nearby artsy Eastport, Maine, is worth a visit. And don't miss Monica's Chocolates in Lubec!

Found the West Quoddy Station, and sure why not give it a try. We were so glad we did. the first thing we noticed is that it was QUIET. peaceful quiet. and was everything as advertised. we had the starboard bouy barn, and it was nice and roomy. having a kitchen meant we could just get something in town and cook in the room. to be able to just have a nice meal and enjoy the scenery was fantastic. the room was nice and warm for may, and the shower was terrific. big bathroom which is a plus. definitely worth the drive!!

No comment on the TV, since we didnt turn it on the five days we were there! But I'm in a different part of the hotel maybe or it's been renovated. My room is a lot lot smaller..,,it is very nice and clean. But who doesn't put a closet in a hotel room?!!!!! There's nowhere for me to hang any of my clothes. I am on a work trip and I have to hang up nice shirts and dresses. There's nowhere for me to put anything except for two drawers. And No ironing board??? I mean... Do they want me to have to call down there and ask for someone to bring it to me so then I have to spend $10 and tip somebody? No. also, the amenities in the room are very lacking. There's one teeny little thing of body lotion and a little small bar of soap. Usually at least you get some cotton balls and some Q-tips :-) there is a coffee maker but no to-go cups so I can't take it in the car. Then I was starving and when I got here and checked in at the front desk, I was told that I could order from Braxton's and take it up to my room and I could not wait to get a steak, but they wouldn't even let me take a steak to my room. Their response was no you can sit at a table but we can't let you take anything to go. The steak would not be good by the time you got it up to the room and would not be the right temperature. Wait what? I'm on the second floor. The hotel is very small. It's two seconds to my room. And what about what if I want that?! I said i didn't care if it's a little warm when I get it to my room. I said I wanted a steak. And you're not gonna let me take it to my room? I don't understand. I did not want to socialize. I've been traveling all day. I did not want to have to clean up and sit in a loud public place. I just wanted a good steak and a Caesar salad. So I had to order room service, which has maybe 5 entrees to choose from. Lastly- When I called about two weeks ago and asked since I've been in marriott bonvoy customer since 2008 if they could upgrade me to a balcony room (and for context last time i did not have any trouble doing that - they upgraded me with no )....this time they told me that they would have to charge me $150 more a night to do that. Good thing that the company is paying for this because if I was, I'd be furious.
