My previous couple stops here were rewarding in that I found bottles on the shelf that I've been looking for, but I didn't see anything this time (my bar is pretty full, so I'm picky), but the nice lady at the register chatted with me on the way out to get an idea of what I was looking for, then she called Tim out and chatted some more about Whiskey, and he was able to help me find a really nice bottle that I was excited to bring home. An above average wine, liquor and beer store. Reasonable prices, good selection and friendly service. There aren't a lot of bad things to say about the store, it's good that they are there and an Eastport cornerstone. My only gripe with the place is usually the music is too loud and it is not my choice of music. I'm not that young but I don't really prefer music from the 50s and 60s. But I don't have to work there all day, it's their choice. I do appreciate their selection of champagne and Prosecco and they have a huge wine selection of reasonable prices. They do have some pretty deep sales if you watch the flyers and emails. read more

Eastport Liquors is the best liquor store in Annapolis, hands down! Their selection is quite diverse, from limoncello to mescal to French burgundy, to Central Coast chardonnay. I love that it still has that good old neighborhood feel. The employees recommend their own favorites, and you don't feel like their trying to sell you something just to move their stock. The prices are reasonable and you can always find something that will make you happy. Today, I discovered Villa Massa limoncello. More like limoncello with a chase of gelato - Ammmmmmazing! I love this place. 5 stars for Anthony, the awesome cashier who always has a great suggestion on hand. Anything that I bring up to the counter, he always has a suggestion for the next time I come by. 4 stars for beer selection and hours. Wish they were open until 10! Great place to get liquor and wine in Eastport! They cram a lot of variety into such a small location! Service is great: never been there without someone asking if I need help finding anything! If they don't have it, they're happy to order it. There's always something good on sale there! Finally, they aren't just as business, but they are active members of the Eastport community. read more

I am tempted to give this place a single star, but since they seem to have many good reviews, I will give the gentleman that I asked for assistance the benefit of the doubt that he must have been having a rough night. I simply asked for the price on the holiday set of baileys. When he passed the holiday set on his way to the bottles of baileys on the shelf, I was unsure whether he caught the holiday set part of my question, so I pointed them out and clarified that. He seemed very insulted by my clarification and rudely snapped that he knows where they are and that the gift set is the same price as the bottle. My boyfriend and I spent a total of $110-120 between holiday gifts and this evening's spirits. I was extremely tempted to set my selections down and go to the liquor store down the way, but a slightly friendlier cashier took my selections and placed them on the counter for when I was ready to check out. I couldn't tell if this was a customer friendly gesture or if she was afraid I was going to steel it. Again, I gave/am giving her the benefit of the doubt. UPDATE I have updated my review from 3 to 4 stars as the owner of the store reached out and apologized and asked for descriptions of the employees who were involved in my review. As I have not been back to the store, I cannot recall the description of the employees with clarity. Either way, as the employees seemed very friendly with other patrons who appeared to be regulars (we were new to town at the time, our first time in the store) ; has very solid history of positive reviews; and is a small, family owned business (I try my best to shop small), I have upgraded my review from 3 to 4 stars. This is actually a fairly decent, well stocked liquor store, especially in terms of wine. While it pales in comparison to the Corridor (as does everything), this place isn't bad at all. If you're looking for something other than Yellowtail (shudder), check it out. read more

Outstanding neighborhood liquor store. The hours are good. The prices are great. The selection is outstanding. What more can you ask for?

This liquor store carries bottles that aren't at normal stores, but I have seen a wider variety of basic liquors at other stores. The bottle that I bought was good, but sadly the service was not. I understand that this is a one-off type experience, but it still made it unenjoyable. For some reason the cashier would not give my brother and I the military discount even though my brother showed her a military ID. The owner was very responsive about this though and I taking action. read more
