Alejandro and Elijah helped us move my partner's elderly mother today, from her retirement home to an assisted living facility about 20 miles away, with a stop at a storage facility along the way. Found out about them through a recommendation from the staff of the apartment I just moved out of. I asked them if they knew any good movers in the Seattle area and I was told that Easy Moving Company was the "most friendly and efficient moving service we've ever worked with." Well then, that's quite the endorsement. The numerous 5-star reviews they received on Yelp further solidified this, so I decided to go with them. From there, everything went great and lived up to the high praise I heard about them. I chat with the owner, Kyle, who quickly schedules a time with me and gives me a quote. The quote turned out to be stunningly accurate, like within $10. Anyway, he sent me a confirmation email with all the details. The email was clear and had an attached packing guide which was very helpful (for example, they told me where the best place to get packing boxes was, which I listened to). A few days later I emailed asking if they could dispose of some of the stuff for me (I didn't want some of it). Kyle emailed back very quickly, saying it wasn't a problem and they could do that. Move-out day went swimmingly. Kyle and another mover Brian showed up. They were both polite and professional. They were also very fast. I kind of just sat around as they moved everything out of the apartment and it seemed like everything got moved out to the truck in no time. Also, I had written a list of everything I wanted thrown away as opposed to moved. They ended up not needing the list, I just pointed out the things once and they were able to throw away exactly what I wanted thrown away, no more and no less. Moving the stuff into the new apartment seemed to go even faster. They got all the furniture and boxes up to my new apartment at exactly the spots where I wanted them in no time. A great experience with Easy Moving Company! I sprained my ankle 3 weeks ago and can't walk very well, and my partner just got COVID so he couldn't be in the house. The movers were very nice and professional-- they didn't need supervision, took care not to bump the walls or scratch furniture. They brought wardrobe boxes for odds and ends which was helpful, and the truck was fully outfitted with ramps, blankets, and felt pads. They also arrived right on time -- in fact a few minutes earlier than initially expected which is just awesome. They hauled a 400 pound arcade gaming cabinet up four flights of stairs and were very meticulous and careful with the move, making sure not a single surface was dinged, scratched, or marred. Recommend these guys for their persistence, speed and turning a disaster into a win. Had scheduled them for a two truck, four man move. Day of both trucks broke down. Pretty much had us freaking out. We had one day to move and no margin for error on time. Eventually they got a replacement truck, but only a 3-man crew and got started about 2 hours late. With one truck short and one man short they managed to pack a 2 bedroom condo and 10x30 storage space into a 27' truck. Not sure how. They also made up a little time. Not bad given they were a man down. Once at the target location, got a 4th man on site, they quickly got everything unloaded and got all the big furniture reassembled. Actually finished on time. The day started out looking like a disaster. The combination of a really good guy packing the truck and some serious hustle by the crew, they pulled it off. read more

For sure the least stressful and easiest move of my life. Living up to its name, Easy Company makes moving easy, and without a doubt I will be using them again. They are kind and wonderful people who move quickly and efficiently - they know exactly what they are doing and do not waste your time (or theirs!). What I really appreciate is their 1hr minimum during the week. Other movers require 3 hrs min (on weekdays), which is completely unnecessary for some moves. Kyle and his team were able to move a piece of furniture upstairs that had previously been abandoned in the middle of my living room by another moving company and deemed "too difficult" to move. When I reached out for help, Kyle got back to me quickly (over Memorial Day weekend!) and he was able to get a team there ASAP. Worked with Kyle and two other moving companies to get a quote for picking up a fridge and delivering to my house on Saturday. His response was within a few minutes of my query. He was able book a time for Sunday and his price was very reasonable. He communicated with me during the Sunday and when the fridge showed up the delivery was so meticulous: he moved carefully as he did not want damage the fridge, door or hardwood floor. And he even asked where the fridge would sit and how the fridge would be oriented. Wow, I was surprised: most delivery people would have left the fridge close to opening and let the homeowner figure how to get it into the nook. I contacted over 15 moving companies and this one was the only one that had *only* 5 star reviews. They are a bit pricier than other companies but I'm glad that I chose Easy Moving Company. I was moving out of a 1 bedroom apartment (Queen Anne) and moving my items into a storage unit about 40 min away. - Communication: I contacted them through Yelp (filled out my criteria, Kyle got back to me within hours with my quote and additional details about the move). I also really appreciated that they were one of the only companies that had an in depth explanation of what measures they are taking to take the current COVID situation into consideration as part of the move (social distancing/not overcrowding the moving space, masks the entire time, measures to take to keep areas clean, etc.). It made me feel that they are being careful about this since they are highlighting this in their introductory email. - Staff: Elijah & Dantae were the staff on duty for my move. They were extremely courteous and considerate! Most importantly they were obviously very experienced and strategically & carefully moved each of my items. - Timeliness: I received a call as they were leaving their home base and they arrived at the agreed time (10AM). They did have to make an unexpected stop before making it to my moving destination, but it was only an added 30-45 min to the time, which they of course removed from my bill. - Process: everything went smoothly, they first came into my apartment to confirm what items needed to be moved and strategically moved items into their truck (I had some fragile items as well like a coffee table with a removable glass top and dining table with an entirely glass top which I was nervous about, but they carefully moved each of these items out). No dents/scratches that I could see. - Supplies: I asked in advance for them to prepare shrink wrap ($5 per item) & mattress covers ($20). They did not supply a queen mattress cover as I asked in my email but they did have a King size on hand which ended up working out better to cover both my mattress & box spring. Even though I asked for it, they double checked with me before using any of the supplies knowing that they were additional charges. - Storage: They placed everything in storage thoughtfully and left extra space for me to put other things as well. They did a great job! - Pricing: Again a bit pricier than other quotes that I saw, and my total ended up being more than quoted due to the additional items and they did end up taking the entire estimated time, but for me this was worth it. It was a worry free move. Note you can pay with cash (no discount) OR card (at no additional charge) which is nice! read more

We used Kyle and his crew to help us move from our apartment into our first house and I'm so happy we did. I decided to go with Easy Company because in his initial message to me, Kyle explained what he was doing to keep everyone safe (us and his crew) during the COVID-19 crisis. They were sanitizing their trucks and equipment, wearing masks, wearing gloves, and trying to maintain a 6' distance when possible. I didn't feel any other moving companies were as clear and prepared as Easy Company were in dealing with this crisis. But onto the move! Kyle was very informative from the get-go and very quick to respond when I had questions. He and his crew showed up and immediately got to work - these guys didn't slack one bit, they were constantly on the move. They were careful with all of our furniture when placing it in the house and even asked us at the end if there was anything we wanted adjusted or switched around. I wouldn't hesitate to use Easy Company if we had to move again! Short version, I was really impressed with Easy Company. They did a great job packing and moving from our 3-bedroom home, the final bill was slightly less than the estimate, and I would absolutely use them again. Highly, highly recommended. Long version: We put a bid out via Yelp, and most folks replied with their hourly rate. Kyle at Easy Company asked me to share a high-level list of the furniture and things we needed packed. He got a preliminary estimate to us right away, and a more detailed estimate based on photos I took of everything going to the new house. It took a bit more time, but it was a much more thoughtful approach and we ended up with a more realistic estimate. Throughout all of our interactions, Kyle was highly professional and demonstrated a lot of integrity. That professional, high-integrity approach continued on our packing and move days. One of Kyle's team members called in sick on our packing day, so Kyle came out himself to help out. He also brought in another team member toward the end of the day to help. It wasn't much of a change, but Kyle was up front about things and took responsibility. More importantly, the team packed our *entire 3 bedroom home* in about 7 hours. They asked helpful questions about how I wanted things handled, made thoughtful choices about what to pack together, and just did a great job (thanks, Dante and Alejandro). We had a similar experience the next day for our move. 4 men and two trucks got everything over in about 4 hours, and they were super thoughtful about putting furniture and boxes together in rooms that made sense. For example, everything from my wife's office at our old house was in the right room at the new house, and same for every room and closet. That made a big difference when it came time to find our things. I was really impressed with every member of Kyle's team (thanks Dan, Dante, Kyle and Luis). The packing came in slightly above the estimate but the move came in below, so overall we came in slightly below estimate. Nothing was damaged, and there have been a lot of times over the past few days where we're looking for something and it's easier to find because of the decisions that the packers and movers made.
