Donna, the sales associate was very welcoming and informative upon enterance. She gave me the spiel and then let me do my own thing. It was very nice not to feel like multiple sellers were pressuring me like other stores. I really liked that they had a different variety of items rather than typical Amazon or Target mass merchandised stuff. There were your typical pieces but the styles really did range quite a bit. There final markdown room is not to be missed and made me regret not visiting sooner. I wish i would have found this place sooner as I definitely already bought some items elsewhere that I much rather would have purchased here. They have the largest selection by far, and most of what they accept is in good condition. There's always something interesting in their collection, which at any time has handmade, vintage, collectible, and other unique items alongside more conventional ones. The more desirable vintage and antique items won't be cheap, but they'll be cheaper than at a curated vintage or antique furniture shop. Jubilee isn't a thrift store, and in some cases their prices can be a bit high. Everything is final sale, so there's an element of "buyer beware," like most resale shops. They put the brand name on the price tag if it's a selling point, but not so much for cheaper brands. Once I purchased an item here, and when I got home I found the label and saw it was made in China by a low-end furniture company. I never would have paid as much had I known, so I felt a bit duped. However I still wound up going back as I never found as much furniture I liked anywhere else. And for what it's worth, the item has held up. Most of their service is provided by volunteers, who are nice, but some are more knowledgeable than others. To sum up, it's not perfect, but in a retail landscape where most new furniture is either flimsy "manufactured wood" or ultra-expensive high end brands, Jubilee helps fill an important gap for affordable quality furniture.

Early Jan rolls around and no sectional, I call and they now tell me late Feb. Late Feb rolls around and no sectional, they tell me early April. April rolls around an still no sectional, they tell me to check back in May. I call back in late May and they tell me early July. Early July rolls around and they tell me August. August rolls around and they tell me September at the earliest as they don't even have a container number assigned to my order yet. Now keep in mind it's been nearly 9 month and they have raised the price of this sectional on their website a couple times well over what I paid, it is now listed for nearly double the price I paid, this might explain why they had been pressuring me to cancel my order the last couple times I spoke with anyone. Jackie at the Aurora store is completely useless not to mention rude and unprofessional. I ended up finding a sectional elsewhere that was in stock so I cancelled my order. I was told it would take a week for my refund check because they said they can't credit it back to my credit card due to the length of time since purchase. I told them I would pick the check up from their Lombard Corporate location where the checks get cut, I didn't want to wait for it to arrive via snail mail. It's been a week today and now they are telling ,me it can take up 14 days. Please keep in mind they require full payment up front so they've held my money for 9 months interest free and continue to hold my money at the time I'm writing this. First, I asked the salesman if the order I placed could include felt cushions for the legs of the couch due to the floor in my home being very sensitive and easily scratched. The salesman obliged, but when the delivery team showed up, they told me they had never heard of Ashley offering felt cushions for any furniture. Only after repeated calls to the Homestore did I finally get through to someone that told me the cushions are available but that I would have to pick them up myself. Mind you, I don't live close to the HomeStore. Then when the delivery guys were setting up the couch, I asked them to move it a few inches to one side of the room because the path behind the couch was too narrow, and they said they wouldn't move it once it was already placed on the ground. So much for "white glove" service. When customer services contacted me to check how the delivery went, I informed them of these issues, to which they said they would look into it and get back to me, but I have still have not been contacted by them since.
