I wish I took photos of this place because it was huge, and I was in LOVE! Connected through a warehouse there's a CB2 outlet, which has some pretty decent stuff, but the Crate and Barrel Outlet is what really made me excited. My boyfriend and I came in search of a couch, and they had so many options that were decently priced too. They had a double discount of 20% off then another 20%, which was generous! They had couches of all sizes, colors, and materials. We really wanted a couch with a chaise, but they only had couches with it on the left side, which I would say is the only downside of this outlet. Also, all of the employees are SO nice. The lady that helped us was amazing. I really wish I got her name! She was talking to us about the couch we originally wanted, but she showed us different options, gave us moving websites to get the couch delivered, and helped us figure out to my boyfriend's Crate & Barrel card on his phone because he didn't have it in person. They have a huge selection of appliances in the store and in the warehouse. A great place. It makes me excited to move out! I know where I'll be coming to get a new couch. read more

Beautiful Saturday afternoon and was feeling like a drive so went down the the Crate and Barrel Outlet. Let me first start off my saying, don't expect outlet prices. For some reason c&b think that charging store prices at an outlet is an ok thing to do. I've I wanted store prices, I'd just go to my local or order it from the privacy of my home. I also don't understand why they feel they can charge so much for such severely damaged furniture. I'm not sure the best carpenters could make this stuff look good, but you can hand over maybe msrp-10%. What a deal. Hopefully you can sense the sarcasm. I have recently purchased patio furniture, a nightstand, upholstered swivel chair and so much more. We came here for the Warehouse Sale, but surprise, this was actually not the Crate & Barrel Warehouse Sale, but the Outlet. There was quite a respectable crowd, going through the store, and the back area. There were decent deals, although the items that were massively marked down were dirty, or ripped, but might be acceptable to some. We had our eye on a few chairs, but we actually ended up purchasing a chair from the CB2 outlet. It was 30% off and an additional 20% markdown. Delivery is not available except through a third party. The C&B Outlet is a bit of a drive for me, but if I needed a couch, I might look here. There is a nice housewares section. read more

This place is a Diamond in the rough. Besides their furniture, most items are priced very similarly to their regular pricing. A lot of the furniture is damaged and sold as is. Some items are definitely better than others. However, you can find some great deals on furniture if you don't mind a few issues. For instance, I got a dresser over 60% off it's regular price due to a drawer issue. It took me 5 minutes to fix!! All of the staff I interacted with was very friendly as well. read more

We were in the area and decided to stop by. Ended up buying a cabinet for 1K. We took it home that day, but the guys working the pick up area did not wanna work. Barely helped put it in the truck, said they couldn't prove us with shrink wrap to wrap it. Closed the garage door while we were still loading, so could barely see. I've been hearing about this place so I took a drive out on my day off. Parking is easy and there's 2 entrances. The outlet is huge. I'm talking aisles of product: couch after sofa after chaise after sectional! No matter what you're looking for, they have multiple and it's all on clearance. All items are tagged with the item name (so you can look it up on your phone to see original price/color options) as well as the sale price and what (if anything) is "wrong with it". There's also clear signage for any additional markdowns! Yes! Beware!!! There's a section that resembles an actual crate & barrel store where NOT everything is outlet pricing! They try to be a one stop shop for their customers offering both outlet AND regular price (but slightly discounted) pieces. read more

Lots of sale and clearance items if you like a good bargain and have an eye to piece incomplete sets together. Give yourself plenty of time to walk the warehouse the outlet inventory is huge you can find here everything from glassware, indoor plants, couches and patio furniture. Some items are in open boxes but are inspected and in good condition. Easy parking. The best is that's if both Crate and barrel and CB2 outlets together under one roof. read more

I recently purchased the Black Ridge desk from the Crate and Barrel Outlet and had it delivered via 3rd party. I understood that buying from the outlet came with risks, but I specifically asked--both on instagram and twice over the phone--if the desk was wobbly and was assured it wasn't. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it was very unstable. While I wasn't concerned about cosmetic damage, the lack of structural integrity was frustrating. To their credit, they did refund me 10%, but I still strongly recommend seeing items in person before purchasing. Ordering over the phone comes with too much uncertainty, and I hope my experience helps others avoid a similar situation. Desk is pretty but will now cost us more to figure out how to fix it. read more

Most items are not even salvageable or would require restoration which ends up costing the same as a brand new item under warranty. Really disappointing waste of time. I was expecting items that were discontinued, maybe with some minor defects, scratches etc. Unfortunately they were selling a lot of severely damaged and unfixable items for very high prices. Stained, ripped, broken. A lot of it simply belonged in the dumpster. Shocking really, and makes me hesitant to buy full price items from the store, because any company that would allow this nonsense to exist, under their name, clearly has some serious issues. Do not go to this store. They fraudulently charge purchases that you didn't make to your Crate and barrel Card. I caught them red-handed. I signed up at my locate retail outlet in Corte Madera, CA. This location charged my new account over $1,400. I had not received my card. I had not activated my account. I did not authorize purchases from this store. I have never been in this store. The people at this location are charging new accounts and taking the merchandise for themselves. Even after numerous calls and two fraud reports, this is not resolved. It's been FIVE MONTHS! They are just waiting until it goes 6 months and they no longer have to investigate the fraud. read more

I had the nicest cashier. I didn't get her name. I was shopping 1-25-24 around 11 am. She had the most beautiful voice I've ever heard and brown hair. I got the friendliest greeting I've ever received at a store. While cashing out she noticed my sets weren't exact numbers of dishes to make sure I knew. I explained I'm disabled and I broke a bunch of dishes my accident. She just simply replied- that happens to everyone from time to time. So sweet! She then offered to carry my bags to my trunk. I accepted because she was so non judgmental. I feel awful that I don't have her name, but she made an embarrassing errand nice. read more

This place is dangerous and full of amazing deals! I walked in looking for a bar cart and left with a bar cart, Axis II chair, Marlowe daybed (couch), boulevard coat rack, silverware, and wine glasses. This was so much more than I was looking to purchase. The bar cart was solid steel, strong and sturdy. It originally cost $500 but I purchased it for $100, such an awesome deal! The Axis Chair II came in a custom color, blue velvet. It led me to believe someone placed a custom order for this chair and then returned it. The chair retails for approximately $1500.00 and I got it for about $560. The Marlowe daybed I purchased was in an off white. I didnt realized it was a daybed, as it was with the other couches, and looks like a couch. When you adjust the pillows, it transforms into a daybed. I wont be using it as a daybed but think its cool that I have the option if I choose to lounge in my living room. The couch retails for about $1400 and I purchased for about $520. The Boulevard coat rack is strong and modern, its sold from CB2, I had no idea CB2 items would also end up at the outlet. It retails for $130 and we got it for $60. New items arrive everyday and as soon as something sells a new item is put out in its place. There are lots of deals to be found here, things seem to sell quickly. When I arrived I saw the only bed get snatched up in less than an hour. CB Outlet doesnt deliver your purchases, if you purchase furniture here you have to arrange your own delivery. If you dont have a large enough car to take your purchases home there are apps i.e. Dolly that can help you arrange a delivery. read more

Do NOT do business with this Crate and Barrel or any Crate and Barrel for that matter, especially if you are shipping to Wisconsin. Crate and Barrel does business with an "F" Better Business Bureau and 1 star Yelp shipping company called FragilePak. Package showed up completely destroyed. Crate and Barrel and FragilePak have yet to refund my money or pick up the package as it was delivered. They were scheduled for today (two weeks later), were a no show, and no one has gotten back to me from either company. Past three experiences with Crate and Barrel, including this one, demonstrate they are by no means a high end furniture or customer oriented company anymore. This is in response to Tarik Cogal's false statements made below. This man called the store and immediately became irate. He called one of the female managers trying to help him a "C**T." After she refused to deal with him and rightfully so, I then got on the phone with him while he was still screaming. He was screaming so loud that the staff standing nearby could hear him. He was told by the female manager and myself that he cannot scream obscenities at our staff. He was told to calm down and speak calmly without graphic language or threats. He refused to calm down and act like a human being towards our staff. His purchase was a final sale stated multiple times. He thought harassing us while screaming obscenities was appropriate. No one deserves to be screamed at let alone insulted and threatened repeatedly. I protected myself and our staff as any decent person would. The staff at both outlet stores works extremely hard to provide the best items at the best price daily. The staff at this location goes above and beyond to help any customer. This one is just alright. If you're looking for home essentials here, bowls, silverware, glasses, kitchenware, etc. it's not a bad spot for grabbing those. While the building itself makes out to be what you would think to be quite a big space, the selection is actually quite limited for everything else. While we were hoping to score on a couch/sectional or even some nightstand tables, we left disappointed in the very limited furniture selection. Also to note, majority of the larger pieces on sale priced as. And I gotta say some of the stuff was f*cked up. Not even sure if it's worth it to be on display. Anyways, happy hunting if you make the trek from the city out to this one. Kind of a bummer they closed the outlet location in Lincoln Park that used to have a lot of the same stuff. I am very impressed with this store. Their inventory isn't as big but you'll find lots of treat deals. I'd say half the things are not in excellent condition. We got 3 counter stools which was amazing, you usually can't find matching sets in outlets. They had minor scratches and rips which I was ok with. They were 60% off retail price. They are still in the regular store and I've been eyeing them for a month. Their hours have changed due to covid (most days 11-5 pm) which we didn't know. At 5.10 pm we got yelled at by the staff to leave. It was rude and uncalled for. We didn't know and they easily could have told us at 4.45 that they're gonna close. read more

C&B's selection of analog wall clocks are very limited but their style are timeless of contemporary classic and simple at $14.95, thus suited my personality. The next day immediately my order was shipped via UPS, despite waiting one agonizing week of delivery from Tracy, CA, as described in its picturesque presentation. The least they could've done having a distribution center behind it was to offer both the Crate & Barrel and the outlet store in relatively close distance to one another... no... I had to go and drive to either Geneva or Oak Brook for that! They offer items that are similar prices to the store and they have some obscure things that don't exist in any C & B I've been to. Personally, I much prefer the real deal. It's kind of like cheese. You like cheese and you love how it melts all gooey on your quesadilla. Then someone goes in and makes it fat free. I placed 6 orders for more than $500 each, only to later find out that more than 1/2 were backordered. They then started shipping the items in small batches. I have been on the telephone for more than 2 hours trying to sort it through. They are no help at all! Their Chat personnel and their telephone representatives are not trained to properly handle ANY customer service issue. There are lots of options out there. I experienced fantastic service here! I had custom ordered a sofa from the Oakbrook Crate & Barrel, and was told by the lovely salesgirl that we could save the delivery fee by picking up the sofa ourselves, at the warehouse in Naperville. Seeing how my husband has a large pick-up truck (that, and I'm frugal), we opted to pick it up ourselves. We called, set up an early morning time, and headed out. We had to wait maybe 5 minutes while a customer in front of us was helped. Then everything went smoothly, we loaded up the beautifully packaged sofa (both cardboard covered and shrink wrapped), and headed home. Our sofa was in perfect shape, and fits beautifully in our home. Easy, painless and I believe we saved $100. We are totally going to take this route again, the next time we order furniture from Crate & Barrel. read more

This is the outlet store to end all outlet stores. It's also pretty cool that it's connected right to the main C&B warehouse! The entrance has normal C&B kitchen and bathroom items that you'd find in the store, at the normal price. The rest of the store is made up of closeout items. Most are well organized by department, though there is a long wall of deeeeeply discounted "final sale" items in bins and shelves. There's also a great selection of scratch and dent furniture. I find something to buy every time I go there. And it's stuff I actually need, not just crap to get just to get something. I usually get kitchen stuff. The rugs are a very good thing to look at as they seem to be marked down to next-to-nothing. I will probably get a rug there when I see one in the right size and color. The first time I went there was a rug that was the right color, but way too big (9'x12') for only $150. See what I mean? A steal! The discounted furniture is still on the pricey side for me, but, for crate and barrel stuff, the prices are good. Oh, yeah! Really nice tables, for example, for hundreds of dollars off because of a few scratches or nicks. On the flip side, I'm used to great C&B service, which is really lacking here. I went on a Sat and found some great furniture super discounted, supposedly had scratches- they weren't noticeable. Went back on a Sun to pick up my stuff and noticed they didn't add more to the floor.
