Do not, I REPEAT DO NOT purchase furniture from this company! I purchased a section in November of 2021, I was told at that time the sectional I purchased would arrive late December of 2021 or early January of 2022. Early Jan rolls around and no sectional, I call and they now tell me late Feb. Late Feb rolls around and no sectional, they tell me early April. April rolls around an still no sectional, they tell me to check back in May. I call back in late May and they tell me early July. Early July rolls around and they tell me August. August rolls around and they tell me September at the earliest as they don't even have a container number assigned to my order yet. Now keep in mind it's been nearly 9 month and they have raised the price of this sectional on their website a couple times well over what I paid, it is now listed for nearly double the price I paid, this might explain why they had been pressuring me to cancel my order the last couple times I spoke with anyone. Jackie at the Aurora store is completely useless not to mention rude and unprofessional. I ended up finding a sectional elsewhere that was in stock so I cancelled my order. I was told it would take a week for my refund check because they said they can't credit it back to my credit card due to the length of time since purchase. I told them I would pick the check up from their Lombard Corporate location where the checks get cut, I didn't want to wait for it to arrive via snail mail. It's been a week today and now they are telling ,me it can take up 14 days. Please keep in mind they require full payment up front so they've held my money for 9 months interest free and continue to hold my money at the time I'm writing this. This company is nothing but a bunch of con artists. Absolutely terrible customer service! Month after month of lies and now they continue to lie even after I canceled my order. I had an excellent experience there. Usually table chair should be 4 per set, but I need 6, it is hard to ask if can sell me 6 which is not a whole parts of each set. I asked the sales if I can order 2 sets and told her the reason. She was thinking a while and told me she can sell me 6, so I don't need to buy those extra 2 if I buy 2 sets of the chairs. If you are on the search for affordable furniture look no farther because this outlet is the Spot! We were looking for a platform bed with a nice headboard and after looking at all the wrong places my wife (Ashley Q) made the smart move and did a Yelp search...yeah I know that should have been the first step...OK my Bad....moving on Baxton is where places like Target and Wayfair get their stuff; oh and all the Chicago PD/Fire shows get items there as well. Now the great part is that you can get the items at wholesale price. Example is the bed we bought was over $100 cheaper there then Target and it is the same Not similar. We checked the item numbers. They have two locations that have a showroom/warehouse and they have another off site warehouse not to far from the Bensenville location. The hours during the week are difficult for most people because M-F is 9-5 but weekends is 10-6 and they do have a website that you can check out before your trip. The staff is friendly and you don't get that salesman vibe. Jim was great helping us pick out a bed. Also they really hooked us up with a military discount. I was thrilled to find a huge selection of counter-height stools and although the style I picked came as a set of 2 and I only needed 3, they were so accomodating in splitting up a pair so I only had to purchase 3 stools. Chris (I'm not sure if he's a manager) was so helpful and went above and beyond to provide assistance. I also want to give a shout out to Alyanna who was just so kind and helpful. You have to put the furniture together yourself, which is why the prices are so low. I had been looking online for the longest time and kept coming across items made by Baxton Studio so when I saw they had a local outlet, I was thrilled so that I could actually see and feel the furnishings before committing to placing an order. I will definitely go there again. The Aurora location is easy to get to - just off I-88 and not deep into Aurora. Do not order from this company or a product made by this company sold at Bed Bath & Beyond. Bed Bath & Beyond does not stand behind this product if it breaks and will defer you to Baxton who has a 30 day warranty??? I've had a pack of chewing gum last longer than 30 days. I've purchased 2 Baxton beds this year that broke and both times the bed was out of stock when it broke and neither Baxton nor Bed Bath & Beyond would replace it with something comparable. So here I go...purchasing my 3rd bed frame in 1 year and I can assure you it WILL NOT be Baxton. In what world should a bed frame only last 9 months? Additionally the customer service leaves much to be desired...they really just blew me off without even a sorry. Their beds look nice, but it's not worth the hassle if you have a problem. I don't know how I never heard of this place since they have different locations. My friend said she placed an order for some bar stools and I made the trek from the city with her to pick them up. LOL..it only took about 40 minutes, but still. I was impressed by the selection and everything seem to be really organized. The price was definitely worth it. I looked around at all the furniture (bar stools, dressers, tables, coaches, etc...) that would normally be twice the price if bought from a boutique in the city. This place is so cheap and still appeared to have the same quality craftsmanship as other pricier home furniture stores. While we were waiting on a salesperson we looked around some more and she ended up finding a dresser she liked for $71.00. Major score!! Okay, so this is why a star had to be knocked off an possibly another star in the future. The beloved bar stools she was assured were in and delivered from another location were....NOT THERE! Say what?!?! Apparently someone at the location were the bar stools were residing didn't send an email to get them transferred to the location we were picking them up at. They told her where they were at was on the other side of town and normally customers are not allowed to go there to pick up merchandise, but by friend could have the honors of doing so. LOL...that wasn't happening. We already drove 40 minutes as it was. She wasn't going to ride another 40 minutes with a cranky acting toddler (me) to pick them up. So as of now they said they would call her back to work something out. We're hoping they will deliver them for free now since that is the reason why we drove out there was to save on the delivery cost and we were assured they were there. I sent the following email to Baxton Studio on 9/3/15, and was ignored. Buyer beware! I purchased the Mckenna Sofa from Baxton Studio about 3-4 months ago. I live alone, so it's barely ever sat on. This morning, my sister was over with my 3-year old niece. My niece was sitting on the sofa while my sister was trying to tie her shoe. My niece was crying and complaining that something was scratching her leg. We didn't see anything, so I rubbed my had across the cushion and, sure enough, I found something sharp poking out. I removed the cushion from the sofa, unzipped it, and found some kind of decorative tack. I've attached a picture for you to see for yourself. This speaks volumes about the lack of quality control at Baxton Studio. This situation could have been way worse. It's a Huge warehouse located with in an industrial park with a huge selection of stuff like beds, couches, kitchen tables, chairs etc... Everything is sold at a lower price then what you would find in stores. You will find that they carry the same furniture as WayFair, Target, and many more stores because they actually provide these places with the furniture. I bought a bed from Baxton and found the exact same one at Target for over a hundred dollars more. You will not be disappointed when you come here. Jim was the sales associate that helped us and he was absolutely amazing and gave us as much time as we needed to look around and make a decision. The only thing you need to be prepared for is that they will deliver but it cost money. I would recommend borrowing a truck from someone you know it's much easier. HORRIBLE! They have the WORST customer service. I received a call saying my products were ready for pickup at the warehouse. I left work early and I drove 45 min to get them and arrived only to have them tell me that the warehouse closed for pickups 4 minutes prior to my arrival. They explained it's the fault of the person who called me for not telling me. And then manager told me I should just cancel my order if I don't want to come back another time. What kind of customer service is it to tell you to cancel your order rather than trying to help you???? Not to mention the warehouse closed at 4:30pm on a weekday! I had an ikea bed for about 10 years and moved it at least 4 different locations and it sustained all that, the bed I bought from this company lasted me a couple months and it started falling apart, breaking and peeling off within MONTHS! worst investment ever and the warranty since they only offer 30 days according to the person I spoke on the phone to try to claim a warranty for their low quality products, checkout the pictures, they speak for themselves. read more

hmmm, I love a good deal, but I wasn't in love with the delivery I received. I got the Cassandra couch, it is a linen chesterfield couch. I had my friend go take a look at it for me because, who wants to drive out to O'hare. She said it was cute, she could lay down on it fully, but I should come feel the fabric before purchasing, which was a bit scary. I went to the outlet, the fabric isn't soft, but it is a linen sofa so it was pretty much what I was expecting. The couch was listed for $563 at Baxton, and to my surprise, because no one told me in the store it was on sale for 20% off! They had two delivery options one is door drop off, and one I guess is room drop off? I live alone so I opted for the more expensive option which was $135 (compared to $75 I think). The total was $625 with taxes and delivery, which is still a lot cheaper than the $819 it goes for on Wayfair. The delivery guys didn't seem to take much care while brining the sofa down through my door, which was disappointing. They also just dropped it in the livingroom, so I had to take it out of the box, which was a lit tricky alone. I asked them if they could take my other one, which they did for $30, like they took it down the freight elevator and dropped in by the dumpster on the way to their truck. I noticed the next day they scratched the hall ceiling and made a big dent in the hall of my building, which I could get charged for. Come on guys, your have one job. Im also a bit concerned that they just don't offer returns or any help after. Its pretty much final sale, I know that's how they keep prices low, but there are bound to be a few issues with quality and it would be nice to know you're not just throwing $700 down the drain. The couch is quite light and slides around really easily on my floor, I would say don't plan on getting it unless you have carpet or a large rug to anchor it down. I am hoping it holds up and the cushions get a little softer. The seat is also really small, the sofa seems big, but most of it is the wide back, so honestly its not very comfortable. Its cute, but after all the added charges of delivery and getting rid of my other one, maybe not the deal I was expecting. But... my cat seems to love it! Is it bad that I don't want to tell any of my friends about this place? It really is a hidden gem in Chicago for all sorts of modern and clean line furniture. I have been on the hunt for a Philippe Starck Louis Ghost Chair and already paid over $400 for 1 chair but I needed 3 more and decided to look around for an inspired piece. Low and behold, I go online and within Yelp.com, I found Baxton Studio Outlet and after researching other websites, decided to go to the physical showroom a week later. As soon as I walked in, I was in furniture heaven! I went twice in 1 week, that just tells you how much I loved this showroom. I brought a vanity table, modern bookshelve and 1 ghost chair for $357. Such a great deal! Ghost chairs start at $93 but I went during Martin Luther King weekend and they were having an extra 30% off discount, score! Few days later, I went back to Baxton Studio Outlet and found 2 more ghost chairs in the back of the showroom where all of the clearance items were and walked away with both chairs for only $93! I cannot wait to move into our new home this June to go back to Baxton Studio Outlet and buy new sectional, sofa and more! read more

Please beware if you buy a bed frame from this company, that their frames are much larger than for regular mattresses, and you will have a really bad looking gap. See picture I attached here. I tried to return the bed telling them how unhappy I was with this ugly gap, but me being completely unhappy didn't do anything to them, they said they don't take returns. So, if you buy from them, just be aware of what to expect. I wish someone would have told me before, then I wouldn't be stuck with a bed I hate and can't return. Waste of money! read more

This place is like IKEA minus quality and customer service. I was dealing with Pedro Lopez from Baxton and wanted to purchase a bed. I wanted to pick it up, but Pedro said that their warehouse is only open M-F till 4PM? I asked if he can have it brought over to the showroom (the showroom is a warehouse too) and he said sure. He then emailed me an authorization form and asked for copy of my driver's license. I noticed authorization form asks all your personal information, I'm surprised it didn't ask for dick size. I told him I can fill out the authorization form, but I'm not going to send in a driver's license copy by email as well, that's too much. He said it's their policy to request all this information. Didn't elaborate or anything. I told him that in that case I'll make the purchase in person and asked him to have the bed ready. He of course replied that he cannot have the bed ready for pick up unless a payment is processed. They are a joke, too many red flags, I've dealt with other stores that do a better job. If they are this bad before the sale, I don't even want to think about after the sale. It's also AGAINST Discover/Visa/MasterCard policy for a merchant to request all this information for a sale and to refuse a sale if that information is not provided. I'll be contacting them as well. BTW the furniture is priced cheap, some of it looks nice, but it's not made to be comfortable or durable. I guess you get what you pay for, but at least it should come with some customer service. If you want cheap furniture with better quality just go to IKEA. Don't waste your time even coming here. The customer service is horrible, they have ridiculous "policies" and salesmen just want to sell, they don't care about accommodating you in any way. I've been moving and had a lot of furniture to buy. I've already made most of the purchases and dealt with many different salesmen, in many different stores. Sadly I loved this place and have referred to many people since we bought our dining room set and bed there 7 months ago. I will not however go there ever again. This morning as my fiancé sat on the bed to put his socks on, the bed crashed down. Thankfully my dog was not sleeping with his head under the bed as he does at times other wise he may not have a head anymore. I figured no big deal, I'm sure they'll do something to help us out. Nope. Called up and explained the situation and they just said sorry nothing we can do for you and almost hung up right away. I caught here and I asked if they had a recommended furniture person or anything, they couldn't even help there. So basically we are out $600 and have to get a new bed. This store has absolutely no work ethics, professionalism, nor basic customer service. We drove all the way from the Indiana border to arrive at the warehouse/outlet during office hours and despite a huge selection of furniture (they are quite reasonably priced), we found the perfect pieces of furniture about 45 minutes before the store's closing time. After having taken 15 minutes to find a person to assist us, we went to the center desk to pay and were told by an assistant named Donna that we cannot get the furniture (in stock) that day because all the workers have to leave, though we still had 30 minutes until the closing time! We explained the urgency, distance we drove, difficulty we had to get store worker's attention...etc, and most importantly, we pointed out that there was no sign stating that all the orders must be placed 30 min. before closing. She maintained her hostile manner and position not to give the furniture that afternoon. It was too bad to have had a party without furniture on the following day, but we are happy with the furniture ordered from a different company with pleasant staff, and we will never purchase anything from this outlet for the rest of our lives. read more

This store is all that I remembered from my first visit some time ago and more. It has since changed names and you are not able to get just get the pillow as stated in my review from 2012. This would be the only negative I could mention since everything else met or exceeded any expectation I had going into the place. I'd stopped at the Lombard location and was told that they had the exact same merchandise so I decided on a couple of items. I should've taken full advantage of their 20% off sale because I would have done so much better in the clearance section. The first day I went in, a Friday, I bought a Corbusier style chair and lounge chaise. On this day I was helped by Donna who was so helpful and patient and like mentioned before, honest. I had to come back and made sure it would be at a time when Donna was working. On Sunday, I returned with a friend who was also familiar with the Lombard location and she noticed the difference right away. Unfortunately, I was unable to find Donna who was on lunch and worked with Ginger.. She was just as kind and patient. It took forever me to make decisions and she even stayed late to make sure my order was complete. When Donna returned it was like seeing an old friend as opposed to a salesperson you'd met once. Their ultimate goal was to see that I left happy, which I did. Now, I did have a problem with the manager of the Lombard location when I decided to cancel my order at the location and purchase the items that were not the same that were not at that location. I ended up purchasing two beds, three tables, a book case, a corbu lounger and chair, a mattress, a table lamp and an arco lamp which I have to follow up on with parts. One of the beds I'd seen online for about $800 which I got for $175. After my experience, I would definitely suggest going to the Bensenville location. I have never had a worse experience dealing with customer service or delivery. After being given a delivery window of 11-2pm, my couch didn't arrive until about 4:30. In the process, the staff at the store were beyond unhelpful with giving me an estimate about when the couch would arrive. Additionally, when I ordered the couch I asked if there was any assembly required and was told no. When the couch arrived, the feet of the couch needed to be attached. There were no instructions included and I'm terrible at constructing things. Had I known there was assembly of any kind required, I would have been prepared with tools or someone who could help me assemble. The feet were NOT easy to assemble and the online "instructions" do not show how to attach the feet. I'm really disappointed because I had been so excited to get this couch. I have been coming to this place for years and the place has some very some very interesting pieces of furniture at wholesale prices, that you can find elsewhere either online or retail for two or three times the amount of money. The main reason I am giving them five stars is, back in the day when I used to come here there was no customer service. However on my last couple of visits I have experience customer service that is akin to going to a very expensive showroom. For example I bought a piece that I had some issues with and the salesman whose name was Pedro went above and beyond to make it right. I love this place, but I only work with Benjamin C. He's quick and responsive to all my emails and questions and makes sure that my orders are processed smoothly. Before you come to the warehouse you have to know what you are getting yourself into. This isn't some fancy showroom with over priced furniture, this place has trendy pieces but you have to have an eye and an imagination to see how beautiful it will look in your own home. I will review all the items I have purchased and photos of how it turned out in my home. Montreal Dining Table and Chairs I am mid century crazy right now and I find West Elm to be way too overpriced with poor quality. I got my table and chairs from Baxton and it was super affordable. The table was even of better quality than of West Elm, Ikea, Modani, etc. Colchester Grey Linen Platform Bed I was in a search for a nailhead backboard and even at Home Goods just the backboard was only $300 and the design and quality was not the same as baxton, where I got the entire bed (backboard + platform) for under $400. This weekend I am picking up the Cassidy shelving unit. I wish it was sold in more colors, but it will do for now. Overall I think this place is great if you are looking for a step up from Ikea but don't want the hefty price tag of West Elm and CB2 type stores. One star off for the return policy, but I guess that's how they keep the prices low, so I am ok with it. read more

I'd give this negative stars if I could. I don't review products typically because most companies are pretty good and honest and stand by their products. This company does not. RUN AWAY!! Their products may look good, but are poor quality and their customer service is absolutely terrible. I ordered the Bruce Modern Office Chair via Amazon and it sat in its box for two months because my office was under construction. After it was complete I unboxed the chair, built it and it looked great. However, about 45 days after using it the piston which the chair sits on stopped working. It would only sit at the lowest position and if I tried to raise it the chair would lower back down as soon as I sat in it. I made the company aware of the problem and it took a month for them to get back to me. After stringing me along for another month they said I would need to purchase the part because it was outside of the 60 day warranty. I told them the chair didn't even work for 60 days and I didn't take it out of the box for 2 months. They then tried to pawn me off to Amazon and said it's their problem. I spoke with Amazon and they explained that warranty issues need to go through the manufacturer which makes sense because that is who makes the product. I spoke with Paul Shepherd and Tiffany Fuentes at Baxton Studio and they told me I'd have to pay for a new piston if I wanted one. Obviously, this company does not stand by their products and they didn't seem surprised that the chair was no longer working. First off, Id like to share how great of an experience i had when i went to Baxton Furniture. I already went to a bunch of other stores priar to coming into this store so I was irritated already coming in from all the letdowns of the other stores. I came in and the worker was very nice and went above and beyond for my needs. They had very nice furniture and the prices were amazing. To top the cake they even had a 30% sale going on for the opening for the store. I was able to go straight to the warehouse and pick up my items about 20 minutes away from the store. It was quick and i was very satisfied with the furniture. I ordered a dresser and coffee table. They were heavy and very solid. I will be returning back for furniture in the future. Bought 3 Baxton Studio Adjustable Height Swivel Bar Stools from them on Wayfair in October 2016. Two of the stools developed problems with the welds that hold the seat to the legs. The welds totally broke and now the seat has come completely off one and is wobbling on the other...like a loose tooth. Contacted Wholesale Interiors (Baxton Studios) and they said since it was passed their 30 day warranty period, there was nothing they could do but help us find and buy new bar stools. Sorry...you could do something...at least offer a discount on new one's or ...better yet, stand by your product and replace it. Bar stools should not fail within 16 months. What can I say about this place? As I only write reviews when I need to, wanted to make everyone aware of my experience. I read the reviews online and decided to order from these guys as it was fitting in my budget ordered everything and the employees were very friendly until I swiped my card once I swiped the card everything goes down as they only care about selling and then screw the customer service. As I had ordered a lot from these guys(bed, coffee table, lamps, tv stands etc.) I had called them the day before to make sure everything was there and ready for pickup. As they confirmed everything is there I decided to get a rental so I can pick up the things in one go only to find out the next day some of the things were not even there. There is only one nice lady that I had encountered with in the whole process the other lady is so lazy always sitting at the desk and ordering the Hispanic lady around like she is the boss. The guy(I think manager) is the worst when I confronted him about he confirmed my stuff he says that was a mistake because I didn't order it from him(Dafaq-you work for the same company) and when I asked if he could give me some discount to cover the rental fee since it was not my fault. He was so rude he didn't even look at me and just walked away like a rude employee. Once you give them money, they are really hard to get hold of. Be prepared to play phone tag. 7/5/2014 - Placed an order for Couch + Bed Frame. The sales man reported that both items were in stock. Asked for the items to be delivered and was told will be delivered within 2 weeks. 7/10/2014 - received a call from 'Delivery Scheduler' that they could deliver the order on or after 7/16/2014. So scheduled for 7/19/2014. 7/19/2014 - the delivery guys show up and put the bed frame in and then tell me that the couch is out of stock. They had no idea when it will be available. Tried calling customer service right then and guess what they are closed on the weekend. 7/21/2014 - Called customer service and was told that they had 'refreshed their inventory' and that was when they found that the couch was out of stock. But they had some good news they could deliver it after 9/10/2014. I asked them to refund the cost of the couch and discussed a refund of the delivery fee as I could have easily picked up the bed frame myself, had I been told that the sofa was out of stock before delivering. After a few back and forth, they agreed to split the delivery fee and refund half of it. Not the worst thing and so I agreed. I was told that the refund amount would show up in 3 business days (which should be 7/25/2014). 7/30/2014 - I don't see any refund in my account and since it has been over a week, I decide to contact them again by email. No response. I tried calling them, and it would go their voicemail, which is always full, so that you can't even leave a message. I probably ended up calling a dozen times, but could not reach a human. 7/31/2014 - another email requesting an update on the refund. (No response) 8/4/2014 - finally able to reach a person in customer service, who confirms that the refund would be processed in 3 business days and also confirmed the amount that is going to be refund. 8/8/2014 - no refund yet, so sent them an email asking for the status. 8/8/2014 - "According to my refund record your refund was fully processed yesterday 8/7/2014. Please allow 24 business hours for your bank statement to update." 8/10/2014 - finally the refund shows up and you would think it would end there. But no, they decided to not refund the half of delivery fee and not even informing me about that decision, despite the fact that they had earlier agreed to refund 1/2 of delivery charges. 8/11/2014 - sent an email to review the discrepancy. (No response) 8/13/2014 - sent another email asking for an answer (No response) 8/13/2014 - Called them, but could not get hold of anyone again (the same voicemail box full **) 8/14/2014 - get an email from them "per ownership, management, and accounting we cannot issue 1/2 off the delivery charge in the refund. Since we did initially go out for the delivery and did deliver some of the order. The delivery charge is non-refundable." read more

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!! I ordered a bed through them. The bed only lasted 6 months. The side railing cracked in half. I sent them pictures and requested for the side rail to be sent to me. I even offered to pay for the part. They do not have any replacement parts in stock. They wanted me to buy a brand new bed instead. This company is joke. Their customer services sucks. Can you say....awesome deals to be had?!! I meant to write this last month, but I just finally got around to it. I read the reviews before going and was completely ready for bad service, but the prices I couldn't pass up! To make a short story long....I was quite the happy girl with my purchases! Glenn was my salesperson, he was very nice and helpful, he greeted me and gave me a few minutes to look and when I looked up, he came right over. (Yes, he is a salesperson, can't hate it:) I asked A LOT of questions and he had no problems answering or going to his manager (which I found out is a new addition and he's really changed the place. That was the desk talk over my paperwork) I digress, my order was written up, I had to come back and pick up....it was all ready and they loaded it for me! The most TERRIBLE furniture delivery experience EVER!!!!! Where do I begin.... My husband and I had a couch delivered to our home on Friday, August 9. This was after an issue with the delivery date of Wednesday, August 7 not being met. My husband complained about this, as I was forced to stay home to await a delivery that was never coming. We settled on the Friday delivery date. The delivery guys were 1.5 hours late on Friday. When they arrived, they dropped the couch on our baseboard in the front entrance of our house and it's now split and very unsightly. When I asked what would be done about the damage, one of the guys simply told me it was a casualty of moving furniture and shrugged it off. This was extremely unprofessional. The other guy took pictures and text or emailed his boss the photos of the damage. I was never told what would be done to rectify the issue. For a month, my husband and I attempted to contact someone by leaving voicemails. We have heard nothing back. Each time we have called and actually spoken to someone, it had been Thomas, the showroom manager. He finally advised us to email Bill Morales and Alex Dini to finally get this issue resolved, as we cannot accept our baseboard being broken at no fault of our own. But they didn't even assist! Now we have a broken baseboard and they are so unprofessional, we have to foot the bill to have it repaired. We will never buy from this place again and plan in reporting them to the BBB. read more

So what's not to love. Quality furniture, no hassle sales person, at great prices. Better than VCF, or any other discount furniture chain. Worth the trip to take a look. Might just be surprised at what you find. read more
