Each person with their own finicky interests found something. All of us loved our meals: Tacos, chicken and beef stews and chili rellenos. The service was quick and helpful. Really enjoyed ourselves. One person wished there had been an unsweetened iced tea available. Other than that, there was not a complaint about anything. Just really enjoyed your meal.

I opened up Yelp and found this little taqueria in the cute downtown of Belvedere so we decided to stop here. The inside definitely makes you feel like you're at a family owned restaurant. It reminds me of all of the pizzerias I went to as a kid in New York. The staff are all incredibly friend and funny and were cracking jokes the whole time to our table. They offer a wide selection of Mexican specialties from some of the more common ones to some of the harder to find ones. Lately, I've been on a Gordita kick so I ordered the Gordita dinner. The rice and beans were so good, and the fresh tortillas, along with the beautiful meat inside were all perfect. I wasn't expecting to have such incredible Mexican in this part of the US, but I need to reassess my biased because this was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Didn't know this place existed till I drove by yesterday and it peaked my interest…read more I came in around 4:45 on a Wednesday with no one else here yet, ordered five tacos (two carnitas and 3 of their special "Burria" tacos that are not on the menu) and a side of rice and beans for my wife and I to share. The staff seemed fairly nice and helpful, although you could tell they were a little stressed. It took about 25 minutes to get our to-go order ready, which seemed like a pretty long wait given I was one of only two parties there and didn't order much food. To be fair, I was already starving so that made it feel longer. We ordered the tacos Mexican style (comes on a corn tortilla, with onions and cilantro) because a) that sounded delicious and b) I can't eat cheese/dairy and that is what comes on the other option, the American style of taco. It came out to be more expensive than I thought it was so I checked the bill and sure enough, the special tacos were almost double the price of a normal taco, which was not told to me or written down anywhere. And when we finally got the tacos, the Burria tacos were covered in cheese. Now I can't eat any of those plus I paid more than I wanted to for them. I told the lady working at the counter that I didn't want cheese (that's why I ordered them Mexican style) and I thought there might have been a mistake. She told me "sorry that's just the way they're made." All in all the food was very tasty (the two carnitas tacos that I could eat were great and my wife said the special tacos were very tasty although pretty heavy) and I like that it's locally owned and operated, but bummed at the poor communication.
