Our trainer, Monica, was excellent with Daisy and what I loved most about her was that she would explain to us how she was training our dog and also why she would do something a certain way. A lot of times she would comment about how this reinforces some sort of behavior or would boost Daisy's confidence, etc. At one point of our training Daisy didn't take well to the previous lesson (down lesson) and Daisy wasn't receptive to the next training session and was extremely nervous and jittery. Monica picked up on this right away and instead of just charging through, took a step back to assess the situation and told us that this lesson would be free since Daisy wasn't herself and even considered bringing another trainer in. We were extremely appreciative of this gesture and found it to be very considerate and professional. We were a little nervous starting out the training because Daisy is an extremely sensitive and submissive dog, but at the end of the training (which was today) her confidence levels are much higher and she seems to be a much happier dog!!! Daisy is far from perfect but her discipline and manners are getting better every day and we love seeing her progress and growth. We highly recommend Off Leash K9 Training. We did a ton of research and even met with other companies but we could not have been happier with our choice.

Dino is usually done within 2-3 hours and he always comes home looking and smelling fresh! I get the schnauzer cut and never have any complaints! BEWARE***Kennel Cough Alert*** 12/10/2024 I dropped my dog off for the first time at a boarding facility here. I felt confident after speaking with the lady that works there that this would be a decent place for my furbaby. I did not have a great experience with the man that works there and to find out, he's the "General Manager". I dropped my, almost 2 y.o., dog off here from 11/30 - 12/8 as we were going on a cruise. Upon pick-up on 12/8 around 11:45am, I asked the GM how was Kingsley's stay, and he replied "good". I expected to hear more than just good as an update, but ok. As the GM brings out my baby, he is coughing and honking. I asked the GM about it and he "promised" that Kingsley wasn't sick but was pulling on his harness (not collar). I told him that in all the year(s) that I've had him, he's never made those sounds pulling on a leash. I asked him if he was sure and he stated the same thing. When I got home, Kingsley continued to cough, honk, sneeze, and try to clear his throat. Around 4pm, I called back to inform them that he's still making these sounds and there's no harness or anything on him. The GM said how it was impossible to be Kennel Cough, how they had a slow week, how there wasn't many dogs, etc. The thing is, Kingsley is unaltered, so he couldn't have the play time with other dogs anyway so it doesn't make sense. Kingsley also had soft stool with blood. I asked him if he had noticed or if any staff had noticed and he said no. This leads me to believe that they are not keeping a true watchful eye on the dogs to any degree. The GM says that him nor any of the staff heard Kingsley coughing or noticed blood in his stool. Kingsley was with them for 9 or so days and he did not arrive like that. I've never had any illnesses with him up until this point which I expressed to the GM. My rhetorical question to him was so this is Kingsley's 1st time coughing at my noon pick-up and bloody stool by 4pm and it's sudden onset?! That's ridiculous. The GM denied it and said how we couldn't prove anything without a vet's opinion as he is not one. He said after taking Kingsley to a vet, then we could have "the" conversation. On 12/9, I took Kingsley to urgent care and he, in fact, has Kennel Cough. They loved on him and prescribed him medication. I relayed the GM's messages to them to check for their medical opinion and they made it clear that it's impossible that his very first time showing signs of Kennel Cough and bloody stool was when I picked him up. I called Paws and Friends today, 12/10/24 around 5:30 pm, and confirmed the Kennel Cough to the GM. Did he apologize? No! Did he seem caring? No! His response was that Kennel Cough is not 100% preventable. I could understand that to a certain degree. My issue with him is the denial, suspected dishonesty, and the lack of accountability and customer service. I asked him if there would be any reimbursement for his medical care or even a portion of his stay, the GM said no. I feel that like paying for Kingley's vet care at the bare minimum could have righted this wrong. Quite actually, I would have been the upmost satisfied with a more transparent answer and wellness update upon pickup akin to "Hey, I'm not sure if Kingsley is ill, but we noticed this and that and we'd advise he'd be seen for these symptoms because ( ) isn't 100% preventable. But no, I received an Oh, he's just pulling on his leash, I promise he isn't sick. Oh, he just coughed once, that's not indicative of Kennel Cough. The service and treatment my family received is unacceptable and I cannot recommend Paws and Friends to anyone with pets. Also, I asked the GM if there was anyone that I could speak to besides him, a District Manager, the owner, anyone above him. Guess what, he's the end-all-be-all. In his words, the owner isn't really involved in the business. For boarding, I spent shy of $300 and for vet care, I spent about $280. **Message shortened for update space**

The entire experience was pleasant. I called, told them the puppy I was interested in, and drove down the next morning to take a look. The puppy was exactly as I'd expected it to be--cute, fluffy, healthy, and happy! I brought him home that morning. To address the concern of whether or not they are breeder: Jon and Jimmie used to breed Yorkies, but stopped several years ago. Now, they operate as a broker only. They sell Yorkies for longtime friends. I can not confirm to whether or not the puppies come from puppy mills, but what I can say is that our Yorkie was healthy, well cared for, well-marked, and adapted extremely well. Our puppy did have some hypoglycemia issues (common in these little babies). I was able to reach out to Jimmie by email, then phone, to discuss. While our puppy is just fine now, Jimmie was genuinely concerned and really helpful. She asked that I let her know if there are any systemic issues (i.e. liver shunt) found so that the dog's parents would not be bred again to prevent this genetic defect. Fortunately, no liver shunt was found.

I hired Kayci to care for our dogs and fish while my husband and I were out of town for a week…read more I wish I never had. In preparation for our upcoming trip -I met with Kayci three times. The first time with Kayci and her wife, the second at the dog park so she could observe the routine, and again before we left where I reviewed the dogs and fish' feeding and care instructions. Our pups are on a schedule to be walked and fed every morning before 9:00 AM. Kayci assured us this would not be a problem. She also assured us that there would be no issues and she had everything under control. I had offered to more than double her normal fee (1000.00 for the 6 days) - hoping that it would be an incentive for her to keep everything in control. What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, turned out to be the pet sitter from hell. During out 6 day trip - Kayci sent no less than 75 text messages. Minimally 39 of them were erroneous, inappropriate or argumentative. I have included several in this review. We had barely begun our vacation, when we received a text from Kayci, "I hate to bother yall but I was wondering if I could possibly borrow and then wash a pair of some shorts". Later she would text, "Seems like the boys poop is a little runny these past few days" - and she wanted to change their diets. Although I didn't think changing their diets while I was out of town was necessary or a good idea - Kayci was having none of it. Rather than tell me in any of our previous face to face meetings, Kayci decided this was a good time to tell me that I don't know how to feed my dogs and I am feeding them wrong - (I have raised dogs longer than Kayci has been alive) She then wouldn't tell me what time she was walking them unless I stopped my vacation and called her. Which I did. I tried to give her the instructions from the vet - and ask her what time she was taking them out in the morning - (If the dogs go too long without a walk they end up with soft stools) At this point, my husband was clearly upset and was ready to kaibash our vacation and head home. Our stress levels were insane. After hours of Kayci's BS - she finally texted, "The dogs do not have diarrhea, just soft stool . . . .My wife specializes in nutrition for pets" She wanted to sell us her nutrition services. All this drama for a sales pitch - All I could respond was, "Lets talk about it when we get home". The last thing I wanted to do was see Kayci get any further unhinged. I had made calls after Kayci wanted to wear my clothes to another dogsitter and hired one -to keep an eye on Kayci and Clearwater Aquatics/Pawsitive Pets. It was the only way to salvage our vacation. On Saturday, I asked her if she would please walk the dogs early the next morning. I was hoping she could keep them on their schedule. I was told by Kayci, "Unfortunately not. I have a dr appointment." I thought it was strange she would have a Doctors appointment on Sunday morning at 7:30 - especially since she had taken the job to sit our dogs and fish several months prior - I asked if she could either reschedule, or come before her appointment. To which I was told, "No mam, that's not how this is goin to go" I could go on for pages, but I invite you to read the text messages - We were guaranteed a professional and stress free experience with Kayci and her wife and their companies, Clearwater Aquatics and Pawsitive Pets - It was as if Kayci intentionally sabotaged our vacation -- When we returned home, Kayci called the following morning. She requested that we pay her the remaining balance BEFORE she would return our house key - I told her to keep it - Were were changing locks after this experience. Then her wife called - she wanted to continue on the line that she and Kayci knew better than I did how to care for my dogs. I explained I have raised dogs/fish longer than she has been alive - She was adamant that she knew more than both myself and my vet - I probably wasn't very nice to her when I explained why they were not getting the second payment. Bottom line -AVOID THESE TWO DRAMA QUEENS. It is not worth the stress and angst they cause - They don't adhere to agreements they are unreliable dishonest and unprofessional - I regret ever trusting these with my animals.
