This is a food truck that came by our office one day. They have a ton of really elaborate and fun options for hot dogs from the "Natural Disaster" dog which had deep fried bacon wrapped dog, chili, jalapeno relish, onion rings, coleslaw & tomatoes to the "Mediterranean Veggie Dawg" which has a soy dog, lettuce, diced tomatoes and hummus. My veggie coworker really liked that one. They have a ton of other options too, I was really in love with their five cheese dog which had cheddar, smoked gouda, havarti, mozzarella and gruyère. The hot dogs are big and with all of the toppings one hot dog is good for a meal, if you're like me you'll cave and also grab some of their very tasty seasoned french fries. Had the Hogg Dog at the Reunion Tower Lawn party. It was a short wait, but there was no line (yet). The hot dog was grilled and sliced in half to support the toppings (brisket & pork butt). Okay, I went to the Truck Yard, just to try out these hot dogs. I was already pretty impressed with their product on discription alone, specifically offering angus meat hot dogs. I got the Sister-in-Law and a side of fries. Our wait was about 5-10 minutes and the staff aka the Mom...was great. The dog was decent, not heavy on the peaches and a nice spice kick I could appreciate. The bun, well... it looked very much like your standard hot dog bun from the store and the dog would have been better without it...or with a bun of higher standards. Why put these great ingrediants on a cheap bun? The fries were not fresh cut....and THAT is a disappointment. Real angus beef, cheap bun, and frozen fries. Two of these things are not like the other. This food truck along with this Twisted Southern Cafe food truck was down at the office building that I was working at. I looked at their menu online and the hot dog description + pictures were making me hungry. I came down to the parking lot at 1pm to order my hotdog. I was the only one to order from this truck. I ordered the Road Dawg and fries. A little disappointed they didn't have onion rings to order today. I waited, what felt like, FOREVER for my hotdog. Are you serious?? When I finally received my hotdog and fries, I ate 1 piece of fry and took a bite of the dog and none of it were hot. The temperature was lukewarm at best. I was just appalled by the temperature of my food to the wait time it took for me to receive the food. What is going on in that kitchen?? For me to wait this long for my food, I expected a pipping hot hotdog. The taste wasn't bad, but not worth the wait at all. It was like a Sonic chili cheese dog with pieces of frito chips, but a half step better. I do have to say the beef hot dog link is bigger than what is served at Sonic. read more

We booked Eat Jo Dawgs for our Halloween party over 2 months out. 1 day before the party, they called and bailed saying something was wrong with their truck. We had already paid over $500 for them. COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE. Imagine all the guests not having food after you advertised the food truck. Do not rely on them. Had to find and pay another food truck, (SoCal Taco) who was able to come last minute and save our party. A professional company should have a backup truck in case of an issue. 0 stars should be an option. Had Eat Jo Dawgs for a corporate event last November (2015). While everyone loved the hot dogs, it has been a STRUGGLE with payment. We were overcharged (I had charges showing up on my statement without notification 2 times beyond the agreed upon first invoice.) and then just had $4,100 charged to my card last month "on accident" !! How does a clerical error like that even happen? I tried to call and the phone number was not working. I finally received an email that he is saying they had a "break-in to their account" and it could take up to 90 days to see what happened. We have since filed a fraud complaint with our credit card company for the $4,000 and to say the least, this has turned into a hassle for us. It is a year later, and we are still dealing with trying to get our money back. AVOID! read more

I don't understand why it takes 20 minutes to make a "hot dawg!" The bun was super soggy and falling apart which made it difficult to eat. Paid $10 for fires and dog. Was totally not worth the wait in this 104 degree weather. SMH I make hot dogs quicker on my George Forman grill! read more

$9 for soggy french fries with from a bag, and a bland hot dog on a stale bun. I don't like to write negative reviews, but this was a huge disappointment. The toppings were okay at best and I cannot explain how low quality the actual hot dog was. Save yourself the $6 on the hot dog and $3 more on the fries. read more

When spending 6-8 dollars on a hot dog I expected a little more variety there was only 1 that didn't have chili which I don't like . I would like to see Chicago or NY style not 6 different chili topped and 1 BBQ sauced Sonics have a better variety for 2 bucks QT has 2 for 2 and you can create your own with a nice variety of toppings. If I was able to give this "business" zero stars, I would. Unreliable and rude. We scheduled with them months in advance, and on the day of- they were a no show. We had over 50 hungry people who had spent the day volunteering- and had no food. Calls were placed to find out the status of their eta- and no one answered or called back. Hours later we received a simple email saying "sorry buddy. The truck broke down." Buddy?! What business responds that way? Well, sorry, Buddy. I'm glad you didn't get our money. A better, more professional and reliable business swooped in at the 11th hour and saved us. And we'll never try to do business with you again. Problem solved. read more

We scheduled with Joe months in advance for a school event and I day before the event he emailed me that he was unable to make it because his coolers conveniently went out. They didn't even call to let us know, we tried calling, emailing etc. Finally, several hours later I got an email saying something was wrong with their truck, which seems to be a common occurrence judging by what other people have said in their comments below. If I could give 0 stars, I would! We hired Eat Jo Dawgs in February for an elementary school event that would be in May. 1 week before the event, we called to confirm, and never heard back. We continued to call and email with no response. 2 days before the event, we get an email telling us that lightning struck the cooler the night before and so they can't come to our event. They may have, in fact, had an unfortunate lightning strike, but the excuse is hard to believe since we had tried unsuccessfully getting a confirmation from them several days before the "lightning strike". They are UNRELIABLE - DO NOT hire them if you actually want a food truck to show up at your event! We aren't the first people this has happened to- I wish I had read these other reviews before even calling them. Don't know what the food is like... Never had it. read more
