Mexican Bakery that has an excellent balance of quality and price! GO AFTER 2 PM and here's how this place works.... (everything they make fresh hits the shelves in the early afternoon) When you walk in the door you will see a counter to your right hand side, go to the front counter and you will see some aluminum round plates. They look like the pizza serving plates. Grab one and some tongs and begin walking between the different baker racks as well as a large case that faces the street side. Put whatever you want on that plate and when you're done bring it to the front where they will wrap everything for you to go. I walked around for a short period of time and watched a few of the other patrons who had obviously been there before. Everyone was friendly and courteous while I was there and a gentleman answered all the questions I had about the different selections. The bakery is literally in the same space. If you look you can see piles of bags of flour in the storage room in the back and people baking there. read more

There are no bells and whistles in the aesthetics of this bakery- upon entering you are welcomed by mariachi & ranchera tunes & the amazing aroma of freshly baked goods. In traditional style the assortment of breads, cookies, and dry pastries are showcased behind clear doors. You take a round platter, a pair of tongs and start piling on your selection and then head to the checkout counter where each item is wrapped and total calculated. You will see the bakers in action continuously rolling stacking trays to load onto delivery trucks. I highly recommend trying the Conchas, which are light and fluffy with a sugar pattern top in vanilla or chocolate- they are perfection! Pricing is extremely reasonable. I also recommend the homemade tortillas found in a self- serve heated cooler. Located in the very corner of an L-Shaped strip shopping site it is easy to pass up.This is worth a visit! read more

Awesome bakery!!!!! They are always baking everything fresh and you can smell it as soon as you arrive in the parking lot. I love that smell. The prices are $1.35 for fresh baked donuts, bread, cookies and many other things. The baked goods are enormous. The taste is 5 solid yummies. What a great find! This little bakery is as authentic as it gets for you Pan Dulce needs! It's wedged in the corner of this little plaza and the sign is not real visible.. I could of sworn all i saw was a door with the name La Villa.. Anyway, don't give up. The minute you walk in the door you are engulfed by the smell of Mexican bread. It's not fancy, i think they probably provide the breads to local markets or restaurants. The sweet breads are in racks and usually still warm. I couldn't wait until the next morning and had to break into my stash before i got home. The other thing is that they only accept cash, but you won't have to bring much the prices are not what you would expect in Boca. read more

Their pan dulce is ridiculously good and everything is $1, you can smell the breads from the parking, and the breads were super fresh. You pick up tongs and a platter and start filling it up with what you want. Definitely coming back. read more

This place is so good. I am not Mexican so I was confused when I walked in, not sure how to get the pastries myself. The lady was very nice and showed me to grab the tray and grab whatever I wanted and bring to the register for her to wrap. I ended up getting Concha's I believe in every color they had. They were so good I literally ate a whole one alone on the drive home. I used the other two to make French toast and oh my gosh it was probably the best I've ever had. Super cheap I paid 7$ for 5 pastries and a drink and candy. read more

Delicious, cheap, and as fresh as it gets. Everything is $1.30. The woman working there was very nice but spoke limited English and there was a bit of a barrier. This was quite a pleasant surprise. When you drive up to the plaza, you can smell the baked goods. When I walked in, no one really spoke English and it was a little difficult to determine what the background of this bakery was. I brought a friend (who speaks Spanish) the 2nd time and he was told it's a Mexican bakery. They have yummy guava pastry and lots of other yummy breads and baked goods. It's cash only!! This place has become my go-to for their fresh batches of corn tortillas when I'm looking to make a good breakfast at home. This bakery may be hard to find but it is NOT closed. I don't know which yelper marked it as permanently closed, but they were very wrong. We visited La Villa today. The place is tiny in a small L-shaped strip mall and it is in the corner of the L so very easy to miss. But we found it and couldn't believe all we got for a few dollars. Pick your poison for $1 per treat. Lots of unique Latin bread-like sweets that were not my preference but fun. We told the cashier/owner(?) that yelp lists the establishment as closed, but she had no idea what we meant by 'yelp' and there was a slight language barrier. So I felt it is my duty to fix the status of this cute little joint (which I just attempted to do and hope it gets fixed). read more
