Came to L'atelier after eating lunch and not expecting to get a whole lot, just a little snack for later. I knew immediately when I stepped inside that was not going to be the case. I got a baguette, coffee eclair, strawberry tart, kouign-amann, regular and chocolate banana bread and a regular croissant (as they just came fresh out of the oven) I had the croissant immediately. It was warm, flaky, airy, buttery, everything a croissant should be! The coffee eclair was insanely creamy and they so not skimp on the filling! Nice coffee flavor, not too overpowering. The kouign-amann was heated up so it was a bit softer. Great caramelization. I cant speak about the baguette, banana breads or the tart, but those will definitely be taken down later! The woman who served us was also incredibly kind. For about $45 this was a steal! Will definitely be back!

An out of town friend told me to go to one place in Delray Beach- L'atelier Des Pains. When I pulled up to a random strip mall, I got excited. What a gem! L'atelier Des Pains didn't disappoint! It's a tiny bakery with croissants, pastries, cakes, and more. Everything in the display looked amazing. I ordered the double chocolate almond croissant. The man behind the counter warmed it up for me. It was very big and messy, but tasted good. The bottom texture was a little off so I wouldn't order it again, but the taste was there! There are a few tables outside and window seating inside.

A little piece of French bakery heaven in Delray Beach. They have every piece of French bakery items you could wish for from breads to croissants to a few savory items as well. Delicious items all made in store.

Excellent French bakery. Yves is a master French baker. There is a wide selection of fantastic pastries. A drop out of the way but a must stop. Wonderful.

Front of store. Hard to choose - pastry or gelato. Both are great choices.

The day we visited, Chef Yves was making a custom Kings bread. So not only did everything in the case look fabulous, the place smelled amazing. it was a hard decision, but we went with a croissant, a chocolate-pistachio croissant and an éclair. I'd go back for the croissants. I'm sorry I didn't know about this place during the holidays. I want to try the chef's Bûche De Noël and galette de rois.

We recently took a drive from Miami to visit the "Egyptian Pharaohs: From Cheops to Ramses" exhibition at the PBS studios. As we made our way back, we spotted a sign at a nearby shopping mall that piqued our interest, leading us to stop for a little treat. L'atelier Des Pains. What a fantastic decision that was! The treats were absolutely delicious. The highlight, however, was the warm and welcoming service we received from Lisa. Her friendly demeanor and genuine kindness made our visit even more special. My little one was in love. I wish we lived closer! This unexpected stop turned our outing into something memorable, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the area or passing through. Don't miss out!

Where is this new French bakery?! It is in Delray's foodie plaza, along the East side of Congress between Atlantic and Woolbright. L'atelier is in good company alongside Rogie Pierogies, Ana's Killer Empanadas, and Proper Ice Cream. There is a tall counter that faces the front window with some stools inside and some chairs and tables outside. I really enjoyed being able to get a baguette and sourdough bread along with my eclair, apricot pastry, and a couple of other delectable looking items. I will definitely return. I love a good bakery, and I would love to try more things. I don't mind paying for specialty items. But there is nothing in the store that tells me anything about the owners, the ingredients, the technique, etc. I appreciate that info. Also, I get paying for something particularly French or difficult to make like pastries, but chocolate chip cookies are just cookies. I cannot justify paying this much for a cookie no matter how amazing it might be, unless it is super large, made with organic ingredients, etc. Suggestions to owners: -cut up items for samples because trying something is often the key to wanting more of it -offer some daily specials or limited items: don't change what you make but make the items seem more exclusive -use a Yelp Check-In Offer -Have at least 1 thing be cheap-ish! I would have loved to buy a bag of madeleines if they were just a tad cheaper.

Great bakery selections and service was excellent

Tried this bakery during Mother's Day weekend with my mother and grandmother. Everything we ordered was delicious (cappuccinos, sandwiches, and pastries). The service was excellent.

I've wanted to try this French bakery for a while & today was the day. Every cake, pastry & croissant was a work of art. The smell of butter permeated the shop. We left with a bag with 3 delectable chocolate chip cookies that were the best I've had in Florida. The breads @ sandwiches were appealing too!

Came by for a coffee and to check this place out and meet the owner- operator. I ordered the turkey and cheese baguette with coffee. Very good cheese and baguette. The turkey was deli grade and good. It's a small place with seating outside. There were also plenty of parking spaces available. If you're in the area I recommend just popping in. The prices are high but you're buying something from a chief with a lot of experience.

This is the custom "tarte" that we had made for us.

I used the app to buy an assortment of cookies from Chip City today. I paid $7 for a few random cookies. With the app, they have a strict policy where you cannot make any alterations or adjustments to the order. You get what you get and you don't get upset. They tasted good. Not as crazy as Crumbl Cookies, the flavors tasted more cozy and kinda like you can recreate them at home. I like that the cookies weren't raw, they were nicely baked. With YooGoodToGo they don't really serve you hot food, so the cookies were room temperature. The employee who handed me my order was so nice. She told me all of the flavors she gave me, and even told me to be cautious when reheating them because of the frosting. The ambiance of Chip City Delray is ADORABLE! The store front is so cute, the location is very central and the decor is a 10/10

The ice cream itself was good. That said, the total came out to about $20 for two single-scoop waffle cones, which is very expensive. At that price point, I expect more than just decent ice cream--I expect a premium customer experience. Unfortunately, the service was underwhelming. The staff didn't really welcome us in, didn't explain anything about the shop or the flavors, barely smiled, and quickly disappeared to the back after serving us and had not returned even by the time we finished our ice creams. It felt like we were bothering them rather than being welcomed as customers. For nearly $10 per cone, the service needs to match the pricing. The atmosphere is nice and the ice cream was enjoyable, but the overall experience did not feel worth the cost.

The ice cream and milkshakes were okay, but nothing that really stood out, especially for the price. The biggest disappointment was the customer service. We told the staff it was our first time visiting, but instead of being welcoming or helping us with the menu, the lady who appeared to be in charge seemed impatient and rushed us while we were trying to order. For a first-time customer, that really left a bad impression. Overall: okay desserts, expensive prices, and poor customer service. I don't mind paying more for quality and a great experience, but this place didn't deliver on either.
