In the time of the plague we were hungry Easy peasy We ordered on line through their own app. You can pick the time you will want your food Great thing about Eat n Park They have a drive through We picked up a nice hearty breakfast The pancakes were good and decent size The bagel was good not a Long Island bagel but ... Hash browns are nice crispy triangles These are trying times Eatnpark comes in as a excellent drive through option

An interesting breakfast restaurant to eat at early in the morning while traveling. Not that many customers in the morning. Scenery around the restaurant is a little lack luster. Food arrives hot and fast.

You know how you see a commercial for a restaurant and all the food looks spectacular? It always looks so perfect almost to the point it looks fake? The type of commercial that makes your mouth water! Well I experienced that real life bliss for the first time at this location Took my son to get some later dinner after the movie theater (Black Widow). He wanted mac and cheese, applesauce, mashed potatoes and gravy, spaghetti and chocolate milk while I had the Broccoli and cheese omlette with home fries, sausage and wheat toast and we split a mozz Stix. He liked his as most kids do because it was just a hodge podge of everything that he mixed but my omlette looked like something out of a food magazine lol. Literally looked like the guy cooking followed the recipe to the utmost T. it was the best food I've ever gotten from any eat n park I told the waitress to give kudos to the cook because he earned his paycheck that day. Only issue was that someone in the kitchen had their small child with them and the kid kept crying and screaming really loud. Didn't really affect my meal but ehhh

Son and I had dinner her the last night. I had the filet of sole with french fries and they have a huge salad bar. The sole was delicious and the salad/soup/fruit bar was really great. I could of come for just the salad bar and would of been completely happy. The service was really good and it was fast and friendly. The place is pretty big and was very clean. The prices are very reasonable and overall inexpensive considering what you get. Eat'n Park is a pretty big chain in the Pittsburg area. This was the 2nd one I have been too and I have not been disappointed yet. If in the area I do recommend Eat'n Park as the food and service are both really good.

The Speckled Egg provided the upscale and elevated breakfast, that was a nice contrast to the rustic and local breakfast we had the next day. Our waitress was friendly and professional. After some deliberation, I went with a bowl that included eggs, chicken sausage, sweet potatoes and a nice garnish of dill. The dill surprisingly elevated the whole dish. My wife enjoyed an omelette. Coffee was also quite good! Nice start to a day of sightseeing! (The restaurant staff gave great advice about the nearby tourist attractions)

He was courteous, well spoken and friendly. We sat there for about 10-12 minutes. No one approached the table. We looked over to what appeared to be a bar area and we saw two servers standing there talking and showing each other their phones. My wife said, "With our luck, one of those two is our server." Sure enough, when they were finally done talking, one came over to our table....no smile and a big audible sigh. She asked what we wanted to drink, we gave our order and she returned with our beverages. After another 10 minute wait she came back to take our order. When asked about a certain dish, came another big sigh, eye roll and and a rote description of said dish. The food arrived and one of the orders was wrong. Another wait to get her attention. We asked for the item to be redone as we had ordered it. And she even asked how we wanted it! You got it...another eye roll and a big sigh. At least she was well oxygenated! The dish came back with the very same results. On that issue we gave up. Then came the wait for the check. Once again the two servers were chatting, no heads turned to check on their tables. My son went over to get the check. When the check arrived, it was attitude city. She accused us of picking on her because she was only a server. It's obviously how she saw herself. We then asked for the manager who was quick to side with the server. She said that nothing seemed to satisfy us and that we had a problem. IN SHARP CONTRAST. I have been to the Speckled Egg on the South Side many times. From the Host/Hostess to the servers to the bus staff, everyone had a smile, chatted with their customers, laughed and it was always a great experience. The manager came over since he recognized me from being there many times and we chatted for a minute. We are talking Night and Day. Completely two different experiences from server to management styles. To me there is only one Speckled Egg and one complete waste of time (Downtown).

We tried: Cereal Thriller Quilted Pig OG Happy Go Lucky Smashed Browns (get the sweet & spicy sauces on the side & mix them together.) ya welcome! Thank me later! ) What really made the experience even better than just having great waffles, was the people. General Manager Sharon and Assistant Manager Kelsey were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed excited to help. The owner Len was EXTREMELY responsive to my email & text inquiries (which honestly is rare these days.) As a small business owner myself, I notice and appreciate that kind of effort immediately!! This place is absolutely underrated. Between the amazing staff, the aesthetic Instagram/TikTok worthy storefront, and food & drinks that are ACTUALLY delicious (because sometimes places only nail one or the other ), they've got the full package! Plenty of seating inside & out. clean bathrooms, self-service kiosks but they also have a register if you are lazy like me. Parking can be a little challenging, but there are several nearby garages that make it manageable. 10/10 experience. So grateful we got the chance to try smashed waffles. I ordered a coffee, a savory waffle, and a sweet waffle, and everything was delicious. I especially loved the glaze on the cereal killer waffle and the "secret sauce" served with their savory waffles. The cinnamon roll coffee I ordered was also fantastic and a very smooth and sweet drink. Everything was fantastic, and the owner was extremely kind and welcoming. I will definitely be back!

Thankfully we didn't have to wait for a table for 3 (the folks in front of us in line most have had a bigger table and were given a wait time). I really enjoyed the vibe here as well as the food. There was a friendly gal at the door taking names and numbers. I could hardly believe the wait time but decided to put down my name and do a little window shopping during the wait. We were eventually called and texted to let us know our table was ready. Our table was in the very back corner, next to a group of girls loudly talking about their drunken escapades the night before. It was entertaining to say the least. Our server was super friendly and accommodating to dietary restrictions/modifications. I ordered a Turkish Benedict on gluten free toast.... So. Good. Amazing flavors. My daughter got the croissant avocado toast which she loved. I also got a pistachio latte and was pleasantly surprised to see the used pistachio butter and not a syrup. It was lovely. I had to keep my child from drinking it all! While the wait was long, it was definitely worth it. The space is smaller than I imagined. The food came out fast for how packed it was. It's worth it!

In truth,…read moreit's such a favorite of mine that I headed there straight from the airport on my most recent visit. The cool vibe restaurant is tucked away up a short flight of stairs on Filbert Street. It gives the place a cozy, hideaway feel with brick walls and murals. It's pretty popular, so you might have to wait a few minutes for a table, but it moves pretty quick. The menu focuses heavily on crepes and French toast, and they do both very well. I went for a savory crepe that was loaded with eggs and topped with a rich sauce and diced vegetables. It came with a side of fresh fruit which was a nice touch. We also ordered a sweet crepe to share. It was beautifully presented with chocolate drizzle, berry sauce, and a massive pile of whipped cream. The coffee is solid too. Verdict: This is a consistent and reliable brunch spot. It was the perfect way to kick off my trip. I will definitely be back next time I am in town.

But the star of the show for me is the Shakshouka. I have gotten it the last 2 times I went. You also have to try their Dirty Chai. My only critique is the hostess at the front. She appeared overwhelmed by her role and was not warm. We were actually told by the waiters that "she is serious about her list". Which would be great if she managed it effectively. When I brought concerns that we had been pushed down the list 3 times for other parties. She responded "well, how do you know that" to which I responded "we watched you take their names down after ours and sit them before us". Her response was to shoo me off and tell me to go find a table myself; to which I did. But what a poor way to manage your stress, responsibility, and consumers. On the bright side my waiter/waitress was awesome per usual.
