What an "AWESOME" experience I recently had at Eaton Optometric! From greet to seat, the staff was phenomenal! Christiana, Tori and Dr. Thiara were all super kind and helpful in every way. I had many questions about the eye exam because I had not had an eye exam for years. From filling out paperwork to the eye exam, they were patient, understanding and very sincere in their approach to helping me understand the best ways to care for my vision. They also threw in a couple of fun curve balls like the LifeMeter test. It was very informative and it was great to learn something different as it pertained to the care of my vision. I have never had an eye exam in my 43 years on earth. It's because I have never felt the need to, and divulging my age to give a 5star review might have been unnecessary but i don't care because I want you guys to know how awesome of an experience my virgin eyeballs have had at this place. The appointment was for me and my son and the clinic was clean, bright and welcoming. Receptionist was very accommodating and we didn't have that much of a wait. Guys, I did not know how advanced the eye machines are nowadays but they have it. My eyes had so much action today I was jealous! They used 3 machines for the eye exam plus an Oculus (yes THE Vr headset) okaaaayy fancy pants! Insurance covered most of the bill and I mostly only had to pay for the frames. What a successful visit! Ok this looks long enough, my eyes are starting to water. Haha jk! Shout out to Dr Tim Ng and our lovely optician Jennifer! I brought my 6 year old here after another place I felt didn't do very well on their screening. Grateful I did. Optometrist found her astigmatism that the other didn't. Not to mention the arrangement of different frames they offer for adults & children. My 6 year old had a blast "shopping around" and they were very patient, kind & helpful during the entire process. She loves her glasses! She hasn't complained since wearing them now for 2 weeks. Unlike the first pair she owned from the other eye drs. 10 out of 10. Wow! I am beyond grateful for Dr.Ng but most importantly Chelsea at Eaton! I've been with them for years but today was special. Let's start at the beginning shall we.... My daughter complained yesterday that her nose piece was broken and it was hurting her, she broke a while ago during cheer and honestly just forgot about it. I called and they got us in today ( plus an additional appointment for my bf tomorrow) amazing right! We show up today and of course everyone one in the office was friendly and upbeat. My daughter asked about contacts since she an athlete and the glasses cause issues while tumbling or while playing volleyball but at 10 yrs old didn't know if she was ready. Chelsea gave her exam and was so sweet and made her feel really comfortable. Dr. Ng did his magic and we realized her eyes had changed a lot since her last visit. He explained that she would need to show them she can properly put the contacts in and out t numerous times in order for her to test them out for 5 days before committing. Enter the 10yr old freak out moment of the test. Chelsea was AMAZING! Explained everything clearly and put my daughter at ease. She had 45mins but killed it in only 15 minutes! Thanks to Chelsea! She walked out of the office like a new girl! Confident and smiling from ear to ear! Thank you guys for making this experience nothing short of amazing for such a big moment for a little girl who had needed to wear glasses since kindergarten. You guys are the best! read more

I had to find a new VSP optometry that can accommodate me n my kiddos in one visit. I highly suggest you charge a fee for no show apts (Family of Optometry on Grant Line does) instead of limiting 2 patients per family in one visit. No matter what I would have to have both kiddos with me since my oldest one n I are the one that needs glasses but I can't leave my younger kiddo alone at home or in the car so either way we would have to be all in the building anyway. 5 stars with the doctors and their equipments 1 star with how they conduct business 0 star for accommodation read more

I don't usually get my glasses from here, but Martiza was so professional, welcoming, and easygoing, and we could have easily spent hours having a conversation. Due to coverage issue with insurance i couldn't get frames when i had a visit, which i understand is out of their control. however i paid $217 for my order and waited 3 weeks thinking they forgot to call me to pick them up or they were just delayed. I had to call to follow up and was told that they couldn't complete billing with my insurance and instead of calling me when it got rejected to notify me they just dropped the ball completely. These are hard times and the fact that I was out $217 for almost a month is incredibly infuriating. Had I gotten notified even a week later I would have been more understanding and would have remained a patient of Eaton Optometric. I won't be returning and I won't recommend them. Everyone has a lot going on, but have the decency to follow up with your patients. read more

Quiet office but packed with great people. I was seen quickly by Dr. Moline which I loved. Then I went out to pick out glasses. I was blessed to have Jennifer assist me. I can't speak highly enough about the service that Jennifer gave. She took the time to walk me through the glasses. She helped me understand which frames would work with the prescription I had. I never felt rushed. Jennifer must have brought me countless frames to try on and helped me process through them. RUN from this group! I took my daughter for exam, was told trial prescription will be in a week! Called back to see in a week , was told it may take 3-4 weeks. MY DAUGHTER HAD NO CONTACTS, i had to request temporary just to get by. They will give CONFLICTING INFORMATION on getting prescription. They will NOT make it any easy to get the final prescription. My experiences at this location have always been pleasant. First thing for Me is location, parking for disabled/ limited ability access. The office bldg is local and parking is designed perfectly! From the front desk ladies to the staff doing the exams to doctor (Dr. Ng) to Jennifer, I only have great experience. My family of 5 are all patients here. We are newish to Tracy from east bay like everyone else. I picked this place pretty much because it is the closest one to our house. Haven't had any issues. I appreciate their honestly and savings with my eldest daughter who had her first eye checkup recently after 15 years. I know, my bad. Her eyes are fine, vision test went well. Dr stated she doesn't NEED glasses, but they will help make vision sharper. Nice, new office. Started coming here just before their old office on 11th closed. It was such a pleasant experience coming here! Was able to get an appointment for the following week when calling. Upon arrival, the ladies at the front desk was able to check me for my appointment time. Waited in the waiting area for a short time and was taken to their examination room to see the doctor. I was in and out of there in a jiffy and was even able to get a lasik recommendation. Glad that the lady at the glasses area was able to help me see what my insurance was able to cover and scored a back up pair of prescription glasses. When the glasses came, they gave me a ring to schedule an appointment to come pick them up and it was a breeze! I found EOG after I was almost ripped off by another business in town. VSP said this was the best near me and they were right. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They got all my information and ordered my preferred frames immediately and set an appointment within 4 days. When I came back in " Judith " took control and put up with my crazy humor to not only secure the glasses I needed, but a 2nd pair off sunglasses at a huge discount. I wanted to think it was because I was so handsome and funny, but come to find out this office takes care of everyone and has a great reputation.
